Which AI performances still stick out in your mind? Fantasia "I Believe" "Summertime" Diana Degarmo "Don't Cry Out Loud" Jennifer Hudson "Circle of Life" Nadia Turner...i still think she was too cool for this show. "Try a Little Tenderness" Lakisha "And I'm Telling You" Carrie Underwood "Alone" Kimberly Locke "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" "Inseperable" Elliott Yamin..imo easily the best male vocalist ever on this show. "A Song For You" "Moody's Mood For Love" Clay Aiken "Bridge Over Troubled Water" Kelly Clarkson "Stuff Like That There" "Natural Woman" "Without You" Latoya London "All By Myself" Tamyra Gray "House is Not a Home" Jordin Sparks "You'll Never Walk Alone" There might be a few I'm forgetting...but I guess if I would have remembered them they would be on here. |

I've downloaded every song of Melinda and Blake this season, and most of Jordin's (except that Gwen Stefani song she did while wearing a Pizza Hut tablecloth, ugh, and that latin song).
When I'm listening to them, I find myself really liking Melinda's rendition of "Home". I could listen to that over and over.
And I know I'm risking a lashing for this, but Blake's "Time of the Season" does it for me, too. |

I liked Kelly going into the AI1 finale, but when she stopped to squeak in "A Moment Like This", I fell completely in love with her.

I just thought back to each seasons and tried to remember the best from each year. Looking back I don't think there will ever be someone as good as Kelly. |

Goodness, I've pretty much forgotten all the performances, lol. I mean, there were tons of excellent performances over the years but I really can't think of a single one that stands out. I loved everything Tamayra sang, none better than the other. I enjoyed Kelly quite a bit. Loved Bo and Connie and Taylor and Clay and Latoya..... No, nothing really stands out. But as I read what songs you posted, I can say, "Oh yeah, that one was pretty good," lol. I guess I forget them until someone reminds me.  |
