I agree, I mean Blake was in the bottom 3, what, twice now?  And Melinda was never there, right?  I'm convinced now that the voting is fixed, I never used to really believe that.

They must get tons of complaints; how do they respond, that the voting is accurate?  

What happened here was people thought Melinda had it in the bag.

The voting push on Tuesday night was for who would be #2. In America's fervor to make sure the second slot went to the one they wanted, Melinda was hung out to dry.

The local entertainment reporter had commented a couple days ago that she thought Melinda was a shoe-in --- totally logical to have the best vocal performer win. But her producer reminded her that the kids love Blake and Jordin, and they're the ones who are voting.

 

I never voted once this year - first time for me. I have a funny feeling I'm not the only one who has changed her level of involvement with this show.

 

It doesn't really matter though. People who don't win are doing very well - Jennifer and Chris for example. Melinda's going to be just fine -- although I would've liked to have heard her performance next week.

 

Jordin will win though. I mean, unless the only ones voting are tone-deaf, pre-pubescent girlies, that is....

 

And ya know, I'm honestly not sure I'm going to bother to watch the finale.

 

Jordin will pick up Melinda's fans. Blake will really have to pull a rabbit out of his hat to win.
