Thanks everyone. I said we wouldn't get another one but sometimes I wish I had another guinea pig to pick up and love. They are such affectionate little critters and I do miss that. But we are always so busy and gone a lot and I don't think it's fair to them. Plus I want a break from the responsibility. We may get a dog someday after we get a house. My husband told my daughter we could get one someday.

My son just called me a little while ago, in tears, because another student is taking home Harley the guinea pig over Thanksgiving break.  He just loves that little guy!
 
But now there are 2 more guineas in the classroom.  So he'll probably bring those home instead.  But he wanted Harley, lol.

Sorry Breeze I just saw this. I love guinea pigs. My daughter was talking about it a couple of days ago. She said she wants another one but my husband said only one pet so it's either a dog or a guine pig and she choose dog.
