Yeah, but that was weird, since HE was bitten first, shouldn't he have been first to "recover"? But yeah, I agree, that was really scary. Little more horrifying than being buried alive! What I DID like though was that they actually gave us a whole little 'story' in one episode, it had a beginning, middle and end, used flashbacks and all, but still left no questions unanswered. Whereas in the 'old days' (lol) they would've shown the being bitten and junk, but would make us wait 2 seasons before we learned about the diamonds. LMAO! |

well he got bit on the neck so it went up faster... where hers was on the ankle... so maybe being the eyes that far from the bite they came back faster |

that was crazy. glad they actually finished a story, but it was a bunny trail. it's not going to lead to any answers for the rest of them. they just avoided giving us answers for another week. |

That occurred to me as well, Giggs. Totally feasible. LOL, Hic, you're right about that - still no answers to the more fundamental questions. Ya know, we've been so removed from so many of them now, it's lost its mystery. No, its majesty - plenty of mystery still abounds cuz we're now looking at people like Kate and saying, "Who's that again?" This show was so awsome. Such a great idea, phenomenal first season. And then...they totally lost it. In their defense, this was a last-minute, hurry-up-with-a-concept thing they never thought would take off. But then again, if you're good, you should be able to keep it going. I'm amazed that they're keeping my interest in Prison Break, even though the concept appears to be a short-lived type of idea to begin with. |

I just assumed he got a good long bite and she got a short one. Or maybe the female's neurotoxin is stronger than the male's. You know, "they" say the female of the species is deadlier than the male, after all. I totally expected them to see her and stop filling. When they walked away from the completed grave, I remembered why I liked this show to begin with. You couldn't predict what they'd do. |

I was surprised they didn't refer to them in the grave, they didn't show her digging out, didn't show....something. I guess they really are gone. LOL, well, maybe not - their time reference isn't the same as ours, so anything's possible. I was bored with most of the Kate stuff last night (although I do have more information, which is cool - and I love how they always tie these people together back before the crash, even though they're not aware of it....like her hooking up with the chick that Sawyer just deceived). Pissed at Locke for seeming so judgmental on her ass though, that was uncalled for. So he's on my s**t list now, lol. Anyway, I did enjoy the whole Sawyer and Hurley stuff, that was really cute. Oh! And the black smoke monster thingie!!! Woo, wasn't that the best they've shown of 'him' so far? Dang, they have to explain that thing. And Juliett, she seemed unfamiliar with it, didn't she? Which would indicate to me that it wasn't the Others who created (or whatever) it...or they did, but SHE just didn't know? Haha, I dunno, it's another question we need answered. I'm still locked in to this show, though. I have to see it all play out. |

They did get a mention this week. Hurley said "Paolo and <whatshername> are gone" when telling Sawyer that he's the de-facto leader. |

And Juliett said the Others didn't know what the monster was, just that it didn't seem to like their fences. |

Hurley said "Paolo and <whatshername> are gone" when telling Sawyer that he's the de-facto leader. Right! And when he said that, I fully expected them to cut to a hand coming up from the sand, lol. But it didn't happen. |
