Are you talking about those things that can pick up the baby's heartbeat?

 

We bought one of those at Motherhood and didn't read the fine print till we got home, where it said it couldn't really pick up the heartbeat until the 8th month!

yeah, i have one of those kind, but i mean the dr. type ones.

 

 

okay i just rented one for 2 months. i figure my other one should definitely work by then. it's supposed to work by the end of your 5th month. the one i rented works from 10 weeks.

How much did it cost you?  If you don't mind my asking.

i just rented it for two months for 40 smackers.

 

20 per month. the longer you rent it the lower the rate. i figure the cheapy one i bought should work by then. if not i can continue to rent it month to month.

I have one. My friend bought it when she was preggo and we pass it around our group of friends when one of us gets knocked up. I listened to him every night before going to bed. :)

 

This is the one I have. Someone else needs to get knocked up so I can pass to them. My sister didn't want to use it - she is too paranoid.
