I don't like Josh... as far as his performaces and his vocals.  I wasn't surprised to see him in the bottom 3.  Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see any of them in the bottom 3 except Dilana.

 

I still just can't believe that these are the best they could find from all over the world.

 

 

Smig... last year had exceptional talent.  Just exceptional.  I'll see if I can find any audio links or anything from last year.

I didn't watch last season, so my opinion that this show is meh is not based on comparison. I'm just not excited about any of the competitors.

 

I'll def be tuning into The One instead, if the shows conflict. If they don't conflict, I'll watch Rock Star, too, but it doesn't thrill me.

The winner, JD.. I didn't like him.  He was too cocky for me, but I think he was probably the best fit for the band.  

 

When Marty Casey sang Wish You Were Here... holy crap, I had goosebumps.  He is my favorite "new artist"  Love him.  I even bought his CD... which is something I never do anymore from any new artist.

 

Jordis... she has such an incredibly beautiful voice.

Ok, I saw the links you posted on the General board, so I listened to those.

 

First, I have an issue with anyone who tries to do Floyd, lol (or Zep, and a few others), but I also get that they don't have a lot of choices on shows like this. So anyway, I let that go, lol.

 

But I guess there's something wrong with the quality of those videos - or at least with my system - cuz I thought he pretty much sucked, lol. He was off-key on my end. And it didn't really "rock", not like I was expecting anyway.
