As some of you may have heard me say I have been working two jobs for quite some time. I have resigned at one of them giving a 3 week notice written and formal. Now it seems that may boss has taken the resignation very personal and is being a beech to me...this may continue until the 15th when I finally leave....any advice anyone?  Has this happed to anyone else? The most ironic part is that we work in mental health so it is so odd to be how crazy she is being and unprofessional..

Allnagel, the craziest people work in the mental health field.  My cousin is an MSW and no way would I go to her for counseling.  Is your boss someone you can talk to?  I might tell her you are resigning before the 15th if her attitude doesn't change.

I worked with a woman here and her boss refused her resignation.  They had long talks about it and finally the boss accepted it.

Thanks for the reply...I am always so disappointed in the number of woman in the field with Borderline Personality disorder. She and I have never hit it off. I was hired while she was on maternity leave and I think there has always been some weird control resentment from her not being the one who hired me. All the traits in me she despises where discussed at the interview. I am leaning towards toughing it out for the long haul if she tries to get rid of me early my husband said she is obligated by LAW to pay me till the resignation date...

You're thisclose to escaping.  Tough it out.  This woman won't be a blip on your radar in six months.  If she becomes REALLY insane... what's the worst that can happen?  Is she a critical reference for you?  If not, flip her the merry finger and drive on.

Fluff I gave her the good bye Nagel style (full of rage and drama) I screwed her hard and called in an early umm retirement at 11:00 p.m. I am having a friend call for a fake reference because I don't trust her to be legal and professional kinda hoping she says something nasty then it SUE HER ARSE and live rich and chat with you all to my hearts content. The beauty of it all I have 2 jobs so easy to flip her the bird and be on my merry way........thanks for the advice
