Squeeky,

You've been quiet lately.  I hope everything is okay.  You are missed when you can't be with us.

Hope you get to feeling better soon Squeeky.  I know what you are going through.  I have arthrities in my hips.  And right now mine is killing me.  With all this cold weather we are getting here.  There are somedays I can't walk.

But to have it in your hands is even worse I think. Cuz no matter what happens you still have to keep going and do what you can.  That is why you have Luke to help you out right??

Hey Squeaky!

I don't really know you, but I am too programmed to respond to every thread to resist responding to this one.

So...do whatever it is that everyone else is saying to do already!

Yeah Squeeks!      This is a great place huh??

I help Squeeky with whatever I can.      Opening doors,  carrying bags,  getting up,  stairs,  chairs and double downer days!

Sometimes I even help her with the dishes,  and we don't even live together!!!

Um...I think I missed something (which is certainly possible since I'm blind, lol), but I was under the impression that Luke and Squeaky were/are married since Luke posted the thread about today being the anniversary of his proposal? And it appears that AJojessie and Squeaky are the same person?

If I'm wrong, I apologize. If its none of my business, just say so and the apology still stands.

No Bro,  you are doing ok.

You had it right in all respects.     Ajojessie is Squeeky.     I have called her squeeky for years!    She's my squeeky toy!!!

We were married for eight years before we got divorced,  because we are both on Social security disability.
As a Married couple who are both on disability,  we got penalized in the wallet!!!!!!!
As two single people on disability,  we get more  $$$$$ then as a married couple.

I have been disabled by a bad fungus.   Called Valley Fever   or Coccidio Mychosis.
A fungual infection that almost killed me in 2001.
Eight surgerys, three rounds of chemo, two spinal taps, and 140 straight days in a hell hole they call a long term care facility in Tucson.

I lost about a third of my lung capacity,  the ability to lift more then 25 pounds,  most of my energy.
It's like living in a bottle next to a mirror.     I can remember all the stuff that I used to be able to do,  yet I know that looking at life is just about all I can do now.
My meds are about $1600.00 per month.    Just to keep it away.      There is no cure.

I work for a newspaper now,  as a photographer.     Somedays it's about all I can do just to hold on to my camera.
The chronic exhaustion takes it's toll.    I force myself to leave the house and do stuff,  because I won't let that shit beat me.

I just stopped in to read a few posts. I wasn't going to reply yet as I have a ride coming to do a few errands, but I had to respond to your post Luke.

I understand completely about not letting your condition stop you from living life. It is many times I feel that my visual impairment has made me 'see' life in a whole new way. I, too, refuse to just lay down and give up, though it is very hard at times.

I salute you and your determination; both of you. God Bless You!
I am glad to have 'met' you both here at AAA!

Athos
