This was a cause for celebration! It was Kaylee’s birthday and to celebrate it she had her brother Keith, her best friend Trish and Trish’s husband Deacon to join her at a elite night club for a small get together. Of course they had accepted.  Trish had dressed in a pale green mini dress that reaches halfway down her thighs with a pair of matching heels. Her luscious blonde hair hung down her back, resting just past her shoulders. While Deacon had dressed casually in a pair of black slacks with a matching black dress shirt. They make their way to the club and are shown to the special VIP room that Kaylee had reserved for the evening. After disappearing to the bar, Kaylee had returned and the four of them shared a toast. Afterwards Kaylee looks over at Trish, who was seated to her left, and simply said Happy Birthday to me. Trish gave her a small smile as she sat her drink on the table in front of her. She leans back in her seat, turning slightly to the right and resting her arm on the back of the chair as she starts to speak.

I’m sure he does girl, It’s just that he saw the tape of you and Harris and lost it, just give him a chance to cool down and everything will be fine you’ll see. Until then you might as well enjoy yourself. After the stress you’ve been through lately you could certainly use it.

Trish gives Keith a sign that tells him to keep Kaylee busy for awhile. He gives her a nod and gets Kaylee’s attention. As Kaylee turns her head Trish rises up from her seat and makes her way down the small set of stairs separating the VIP room from the rest of the club. She makes her way over to the bar getting the bar tender’s attention. Trish tells him that they’re ready for the cake that she had ordered special. He gave her a nod and disappeared into the back. Trish gave a wink to a few of the guys seated at the bar before making her way back across the room and back up the stairs to the VIP room. As she sits back in her seat, Kaylee turns back towards her.

I had something I had to take care of real quick.

No sooner had the words escaped from her lips the waiter that had brought them their drinks made his way up the stairs carrying the cake that Trish had requested. It was Kaylee’s favorite Devils Food with chocolate frosting. In lavender icing it said “Happy Birthday Kaylee�? He placed the cake on the table in front of them before disappearing again seconds later. Trish looked over at Kaylee, who had one of the biggest smiles on her face that she had in days.
