The scene opened in the backstage area just as Rampage kicked off and as it does we see WGEF Co-Owner Trish Stratus Copes leaning against the wall staring straight ahead at one of the company’s many television monitors that were hanging from the ceiling of the Alltel Arena. The camera zooms in on the screen seeing that the opening match between her cousin Ivy Stratus and Michelle McCool. The camera pulls to see Trish still braced against the wall with her eyes glued on the screen. As if she was studying something. She was. She was watching Ivy to see how she had improved since the two of them met the previous week on Fight Night. Ivy seemed to progressing well. Trish gave a slight nod as she kept her eyes focused on the screen. Finally Ivy hit her Poison Ivy and covered Michelle for the win. As “Cold Hard Bitch�?by Jet blasted throughout the arena Trish pushed herself off the wall. She adjusted her Intercontinental Title on her shoulder as she took her eyes off the screen and made her way down the hall. After a few moments she arrived at the Gorilla Position. “Cold Hard Bitch�?was still playing just as loudly as it was moments earlier. The sound of footsteps could be heard hitting the concrete floor, getting louder with each step. Finally Ivy appeared at the end of the tented structure still dripping with sweat from the match she had just had. Trish reached into the storage cart that was positioned against the wall, pulling out a clean towel and tossing it to Ivy. She quickly wiped the towel across her face catching the drops of sweat before they fell. She then draped the towel across the back of her neck before giving Trish a curious expression. %Ivy Stratus% Ummm, thanks I guess. I wasn’t expecting to see you here. %Trish Stratus Copes% Why not?
