With Christmas coming in a matter of a couple days things around the WGEF was needless to say, chaotic and in major need of some levity. With all scheduled bookings being postponed until the first week of the new year Trish and Kaylee had gotten together and decided to reward everyone for their hard work by throwing a Christmas Party. With that said, Trish had her assistant Karen hunt down the names of every night club in New York City for a place that would be perfect. Being New York City, it seemed like the best city to find just the place they were looking for. After a few hours of phone call after phone call, Karen had finally found a place. The Avalon Nightclub. Trish had called and rented the building for the night before Christmas before sending out a notice to every superstar. As the day finally approaches Trish is already inside making sure that everything is in order. She is dressed in a red strapless mini dress. Covering her feet are a matching pair of stiletto heels. Her luscious blonde hair hung loosely down her back, resting just below her shoulders. As she makes her way around the room she saw the bartender behind the bar writing something down on a piece of paper. She made her way across the room leaning her small frame against the bar. %Trish Stratus Copes% So is everything ready for tonight? %Bartender% Yes ma’am. Everything that you ordered for tonight is here and is getting set up as we speak. Don’t worry everything will be ready by the time the party starts. %Trish Stratus Copes% Good. All the beverages you requested are in the back, the caterer is bringing the food in a half hour and the DJ will be here shortly then he’ll get his equipment set up and will be ready to go. %Trish Stratus Copes% Fantastic. As long as nothing goes wrong we’re all set. As Trish checks her watch seeing what time it was her husband Deacon walks in dressed rather casually in a black and gray striped shirt with black slacks. Spotting his wife on the far end of the room he makes his way over to her, coming up behind her and giving her a soft kiss on the top of the head. %Trish Stratus Copes% Hey babe, I didn’t see you come in. %Deacon Havok% I just got here. I dropped Crystal off with Karen and decided to come over here and see if you needed help with anything till Kaylee got here. %Trish Stratus Copes% Right now we’re waiting on the DJ to get here and get his stuff set up then the caterer should be coming shortly. %Deacon Havok% You’re just on top of everything aren’t you? %Trish Stratus Copes% Aren’t I always? Besides Kaylee has three kids to get ready and the last thing she’s going to want to do is deal with a shit load of party preparations when she gets here. The DJ finally arrives and quickly gets his equipment set up. An hour later the caterer arrives and starts setting up along the wall beside the bar. After everything was ready Trish gave everything a final once over before making sure everything was to her standards. She then turned to the DJ giving him the cue to start the music. He gives her a nod and “Jingle Bell Rock�?soon fills the room.
