| Okay, I think I’m supposed to be scared by having to face Summer’s bodyguard? Considering that she’s supposed to be so dangerous I’m guessing I am yet somehow I’m not. What has she done for me to scared of? Hurt me? Wow. It’s not the first time and won’t be the last. Besides if I was scared of getting hurt I wouldn’t be in this business. The only thing this woman has done is ward off Hailee from Summer, oooh big deal. Not that I know much about this woman but judging by what I’ve heard her promo is going to sound like this ‘I’m dangerous…fear me�? I’m sure that would work on a good share of the divas on the roster but unfortunately for Tarnelle I’m not one of them. I know she’s sitting back there hoping and praying that I am but she’s going to be severely disappointed. That is if she bothers to even show. Somehow I’m seriously doubting it. Not because I’m scared of her but because the woman isn’t the most frequented person around an arena. She spends most of her time following Summer around and kissing her ass. The scene opens up in the backstage area of the Kansas Expo Center and as it does we see a black limo pulls into the parking lot of the Kansas Expo Center, where WGEF Raw is set to air live Tuesday night in front of a sold out crowd. The limo pulls through the parking lot coming to a stop in front of the rear entrance doors. As the engine goes quiet the left front door opens and a middle aged man dressed in a plain black suit with a white dress shirt steps out. He walks around to the back pulling the door open. A pair of women’s legs emerges from inside touching the pavement below. Moments later the occupant slides the rest of the way out rising to a standing position. The camera slowly pans up their legs revealing the person to be Serenity Chambers. Serenity stretched her legs and straightened her baby pink T-shirt as she waited for the limo driver to return with her gym bag. A few moments pass and the driver returns carrying her black gym bag. Serenity takes the bag from him draping it over her shoulder. She offers him a polite smile and a thank you before turning around and heading towards the building. As she reaches the building she stops in front of the tall muscular security guard and reaches into her pocket pulling out her company id. A few seconds she fishes out the small plastic card and hands it to the security guard. He turns his attention to the clipboard in his hand checking up and down the paper in front of him for Serenity’s name, finally finding it at the bottom of the paper. He crosses off her name and hands Serenity back her card. She stuffs the card back into her pocket and proceeds towards the door. She grabs a hold of the handle and pulling the door towards her. Serenity steps inside and makes her way down the hall heading to where one could only guess was her locker room. As she rounded the corner she hears a familiar voice calling her name. Knowing that voice could only belong to one person she turns around to find Todd Grisham heading towards her with microphone in hand. Serenity rolled her eyes as she leaned her frame against the wall as she waits for him to catch up to her. A few moments pass and Todd finally catches up with her. Todd Grisham: Excuse me Serenity, but I was hoping to get a quick interview with you about your match against Tarnelle Andrews this coming Tuesday on Raw? Serenity sighs. Serenity Chambers: Not like I really have a choice in the matter. If I say no you’ll follow me around pestering me non stop until I cave in and say yes. So just ask your questions so I can get on with something more important. Without wasting any time Todd raises his microphone up to his lips and started to speak. Todd Grisham: Ladies and Gentlemen I’m standing here with WGEF diva Serenity Chambers, who tonight will be facing Summer Fox’s bodyguard Tarnelle Andrews. Todd turns towards Serenity as the camera slowly pulls back showing her standing next to him. Todd Grisham: Serenity, tomorrow night you’ll be stepping into the ring with a woman is a paid mercenary, willing to do anything whoever is paying her to do. I know you don’t have a problem with Summer Fox, but aren’t you the least bit concerned about what could happen tomorrow night? Serenity Chambers: I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t. Regardless what the match you always have to be cautious or your career won’t last long. But that’s where my concern ends. Everything I know about Tarnelle is what I’ve heard around the locker room and trust me Todd that can be a lot. Thing is words don’t scare me much less impress me. Tarnelle may have a reputation for being dangerous but before I show even the slightest bit of concern she’s going to have to do something worthwhile. Todd Grisham: Tarnelle picked Hailee up by a clump of hair locking one arm around her neck and the other twisting Hailee’s arm into a wrist lock before tossing her across the ring, causing her to land on her head. That may be the only thing she’s done but surely even you are concerned about being on the receiving end of that. Serenity Chambers: That’s all true Todd but what you’re failing to get is that Hailee has a problem with Summer whereas I do not. In fact I’ve never even met Summer. I was just thrown into this match with her so called mercenary. If you look back at that you’ll notice that the only time Tarnelle did anything was after Summer told her to. She can’t act or even think on her own, she needs someone else to tell her what to do. Todd Grisham: As I just mentioned Tarnelle has a very mean streak at the order of Summer Fox and I know you don’t have a history with her of any kind, but have you given any thought to the possibility of Summer being at ringside coaching Tarnelle against you and what the affects could have on your upcoming wedding to AC Steel? Serenity laughs. Serenity Chambers: If Tarnelle needs to bring Summer down there as some sort of safety blanket that doesn’t say much for her does it? Sure she can’t think on her own or act on her own but if she can’t manage to do one thing without being up Summer’s ass for one minute then I really feel for her. Todd Grisham: Just for the sake of argument, say Tarnelle comes to the ring alone. How do you think you’ll fair against someone with her reputation? Serenity Chambers: I’m not some little prissy afraid of breaking a nail if that’s what you’re inferring. If Tarnelle comes to that ring looking for a fight I’m sure as hell going to give it to her regardless if she comes alone or with her fuck buddy. Todd Grisham: That’s pretty some strong words there Serenity, but going into this match Tarnelle has an advantage over you. She’s had the opportunity to review tapes of your past matches and know what to expect from you and you’re going into this match basically blind. Does that concern you any? Serenity Chambers: Oh my god…Todd you actually asked an intelligent question. I guess miracles really do exist. Serenity shakes her head, snapping herself back into reality. Serenity Chambers: Now that the shock has worn off time to answer your question. Yes Todd it does concern me. Why you ask? Simply because I’m going in there knowing Tarnelle is capable of bringing a great deal of pain to her opponents but not having the slightest clue what to look for. Basically I have to keep my guard up at all times and expect anything at any time whereas Tarnelle will have a pretty good idea of what to expect and when. That is…if she’s smart enough to operate a VCR and judging by what I’ve heard I don’t have anything to worry about. Todd Grisham: You seem to be taking this match pretty lightly. Serenity Chambers: And why shouldn’t I? Tarnelle hasn’t been seen since her little attack on Hailee. Now if she were around I might actually take this match more seriously but since she prefers to spend her days keeping Summer satisfied I don’t see the point in taking this match very seriously at all. Todd Grisham: Are you saying that you think Tarnelle won’t show up? Serenity Chambers: Do you listen to a word I’m saying Todd? She hasn’t shown up since her attack on Hailee almost a month ago. If she was really as dangerous as everyone says she is then she would be demolishing the women’s division one diva at a time. Where has she been, no one knows. Will she show up for Raw…again no one knows. We’ll just have to wait and see what she chooses to do. As for me I’ll definitely be there so if you don’t mind I have some things to do before tomorrow night. Without giving Todd a chance to speak Serenity turns around and continues on her way before she was stopped for the interview leaving Todd standing there with a dumbfounded look on his face as the scene fades. |
