Most people had spent the night standing out on the street waiting with anticipation while others had chosen to spend lounging on the couch watching the televised specials on TV. Serenity had been one of those people. Well some what. While watching the specials on TV, Serenity was busy packing for her upcoming trip to Iraq. She had been booked against one of the newest additions to the WGEF Roster, Carmen Valentine. She had seen Carmen’s performance the week before against another newcomer, Tegan Starr. Even Serenity had to admit it was a decent performance. Nothing extravagant, but at least decent. This might just be fun at that.  The scene opened in the mansion belonging to Serenity Chambers Reso and her husband Jason Reso. Serenity was positioned at the bottom of the stairs with her arms folded tightly in front of her, tapping her foot on the floor. An irritated look spread across her face as she glanced up the stairs. %Serenity Chambers Reso% Jason will you hurry up? My flight leaves in twenty minutes and I’d like to get there on time. As the words flowed from her lips the sound of footsteps could be heard coming from the upstairs. Moments later Jason appeared at the top of the stairs carrying the couples bags. %Jason Reso% Will you relax Seren? We’ve got plenty of time, your flight doesn’t leave for another hour or so yet. %Serenity Chambers Reso% That may be but I’d like to get there soon enough so I don’t have the run through the terminal to get to the plane on time. %Jason Reso% What are you in such a hurry for anyway? It’s not like your match is tomorrow night or anything. %Serenity Chambers Reso% I’m fully aware of when my match is Jason. %Jason Reso% Then why on earth are you in such a hurry? A little anxious to hear what Carmen has to say? Serenity raises an eyebrow in curiosity. %Serenity Chambers Reso% Me? Curious over what little Miss Beauty Queen has to say? Please! What could she possibly say, that I don’t wear enough makeup or make some play on my name that I’ve heard a half a dozen times already? I’ll pass. If I wanted to hear a bunch of childish remarks I’d make a stop to a preschool and get it from a bunch of kids. %Jason Reso% You actually think that’s all she’d say? %Serenity Chambers Reso% Considering what I’ve seen of her, I’d be surprised if she said anything else. The only thing she could find against Tegan was her name. Her name, Jason…how sad is that? My God your daughter could have come up with something more mature and she’s only five years old. %Jason Reso% You could end up being surprised Seren. %Serenity Chambers Reso% Somehow I highly doubt that babe, I really do. If her wrestling is anything like her promo skills I have a feeling I’m going to be in for a very easy night. %Jason Reso% I thought you said she was of the better ones they’ve signed lately. %Serenity Chambers Reso%  One of the better ones, yes. A decent opponent is another thing all together and I have yet to see any proof that she’s going to be at least half that. If she can manage to tear herself away from Drew long enough to make an appearance. %Jason Reso% What makes you say that? %Serenity Chambers Reso% Rumor has it that she’s been spending a great deal of time with Drew Stevenson. %Jason Reso% And that’s a bad thing how? %Serenity Chambers Reso% I didn’t�?say that it was a bad thing, it’s just that are other things she could and should be concentrating on. %Jason Reso% Perhaps. I didn’t think you’d care so much about Carmen’s affairs. %Serenity Chambers Reso% I could care less what she does. The only thing I care about is whether or not she is capable of getting off her ass long enough to do what she’s being paid to do. Serenity’s eyes catch sight of the clock, seeing that her flight was scheduled to leave in forty five minutes she made her way over to the door with Jason following after her. She climbed into the back seat of the limo the company had sent as Jason helped the driver load their bags into the trunk. Moments later he slid in next to her, giving her a soft kiss on the cheek as the driver climbed in the front. Once he was inside, Serenity told him where they were headed.
