Summer thought she had it all figured out didn’t she? Thinking that I am some clone that come from a factory like a Barbie doll.  On the contrary, I’m not like the others you have faced in the past. I don’t go around saying things like Oh I’m so bad or I’m cool. Not once have I uttered the words I can beat whoever because no one expects me to. If she had bothered to listen to a word I said she would know that I’m saying not to write me off as purely a rookie that’s not fit to clean your boots. No it’s not a respect thing; it’s more of an acknowledgement that I am capable of holding my own against you. Quite simple for even someone of Summer’s obvious lack of brains could fathom. Of course I have just been proven wrong now haven’t I? It seems that Summer is under the impression that I have come from a box, taught to walk, talk and think a certain way. Oh how wrong she is. Yet I guess when one is desperate to come up with anything against someone they can’t help but reach for the typical responses. Usually it’s so and so’s a slut. What a relief not to hear that for once. Still this wasn’t any better. In fact it was even more annoying, but we’ll save that for another time. The scene opens in the locker room of Serenity Chambers. She had just arrived at the Mellon Arena and was getting started at getting ready for her match with the current Intercontinental Champion Summer Fox. On her way to the arena that afternoon she had received a call from her cousin Chloe that Summer had stopped the toy factory she worked at asking questions about the real life dolls that were made there. In the beginning Serenity had dismissed the action as Summer’s desperate attempt to make her look like a doll but the more she thought about it, the more it made her laugh She quickly changed out of her t-shirt and jeans to her mint green ring gear. She paced back and forth in her locker room from one end to the other eager to get her hands on Summer. She was so wrapped in her thoughts that she was not aware the door to her locker room had opened and her boyfriend AC Steel had entered the room. AC walked up behind her. He brushed her long blonde hair away from her neck moving his face towards her in an attempt to give her a kiss on the neck. Serenity pulled away swinging her hand back almost hitting him. AC ducked just in time watching Serenity’s hand swing into the dead air. AC Steel: A little touchy aren’t we? Serenity Chambers: Sorry babe, I didn’t realize you were standing there. AC Steel: It seems Summer has finally came out and said something about your match or you wouldn’t be so preoccupied. Serenity cracks a smile as she thinks about what her cousin had told her. As the words replayed through her mind she couldn’t help but laugh. Serenity Chambers: Oh boy did she. The other day she went to the toy factory my cousin Chloe works for wanting to see these new real life dolls they just came out with. According to Chloe, this woman showed her how the dolls move and what they’re programmed to say and she named one after me. AC Steel: See she already knows she’s actually got to work to get this win. Serenity Chambers: On the contrary she thinks she has this easy all because she can twist some dolls leg a way it’s not intended to turn and somehow that tells her that she’s going to be able to defeat me like that (Serenity snaps her fingers). Not to sound like the broken record she thinks I am or anything but it’s going to take more than that. AC Steel: Relax babe she’s just trying to get under your skin and get you all irritated before the match. She knows that’s the only way she’s going to be able to beat you. Serenity Chambers: I hate to break the news to Miss Fox but its not working. I don’t find her charade one bit irritating, I find it darn right funny. Seriously look at it. She’s portraying me as some sort of Barbie Doll in order to give her the confidence she so obviously needs to think she can pull this off. Sad thing for her is she’s the only one who believes it. But hey if taking one’s confidence in their own abilities as the stereotypical ‘I can’t beat so and so because no one thinks I can�?attitude coming from the newer generation then whatever floats her boat. AC Steel: There ya go. Serenity Chambers: What she don’t get is that I don’t give a rats ass if she or any one of those fans thinks I can beat her or not. All I care about is that you and I know I can beat her. The rest is just commodity. AC Steel: I don’t know Seren, having the support of the fans might give you a little something extra out there to beat her. Not that you need it but hey any little bit helps. Serenity raises her index finger up towards her face tapping it lightly against her chin pondering the comment for a minute. Serenity Chambers: Perhaps you have a point there. Naturally I don’t need any help against her but I suppose having the crowd behind me couldn’t hurt. All the more people to show that I’m not the waste of space that she thinks I am. AC Steel: And she talks about you being stereotypical. Serenity Chambers: Exactly. I guess it’s okay for her to repeat the same crap over again but the chance that someone else says anything what others have said in the past it constitutes as them being a plastic my sized Barbie. (Serenity shakes her head) I don’t know AC, I think some people really need to stop and look at themselves before making off shot comments about other people. AC Steel: That’s Summer for you, you should know that by now. Serenity Chambers: I know I should but that doesn’t make it any less retarded. AC Steel: You’ve got a point there. You know you could take the same things she said about you and use them at her. Serenity chuckled. Serenity Chambers: While that would be funny and very true no one would want a doll that looks like that. Okay maybe there’s some sexually deprived male out there who would but it wouldn’t be enough to make up for the cost. Besides I wouldn’t stand there forever and a day trying to figure out how long it would take me to whip the living hell out of her from one end of the ring to the other. That’s the difference between her and me. I don’t care if it takes three minutes or an hour to do what I went out there to do. I guess she has a problem with getting off her ass for more than a few minutes at a time. AC Steel: Well she won’t be having that luck this time around. Serenity Chambers: You can say that again. I know that’s not what she wants to hear but life’s full of disappointments, she’ll just have to learn to deal with it. I know I’m going to have my work cut out for me tonight. How ever long it takes to knock her flat on her ass and keep her there long enough to get in a three count is fine with me. AC Steel: You do have a plan going into this don’t you? Serenity Chambers: Of course. You don’t think I’d step into the ring with Summer without having something in mind do ya? Gosh you sound like Summer now. AC Steel: Sorry babe. I didn’t mean to sound like I was doubting you or anything but I was just wanting to make sure you had something in mind on how to deal with her. Serenity checks her watch. Seeing that she has a few minutes to go before someone comes after her she decides to just head down to the ring herself. She leans forward giving AC a soft kiss on the lips. Serenity Chambers: Relax I have everything under control. Listen I’m going to head to the ring so I’ll catch ya later for my victory party. AC Steel: Good luck babe. Serenity gives him one more kiss on the lips before pulling away moments later and making her way towards the door. She twists the knob to the right pulling the door towards her and stepping out into the hallway.
