Is that the best she can do? Walk down to that ring on her very first day and call me of all people over-rated? It seems that the training academies really need to give these girls more than just two things to say. It does get old awfully quick. I couldn’t help but find it slightly amusing that she thinks I got so offended by her little comment. Yes I was offended but not at what she thinks. I wasn’t offended at being called over rated; I was offended at being compared to someone like Candice Michelle. The woman’s only claim to fame is doing some whore dance where as I have done so much more. But enough about that and back onto topic. If she wants to call me over rated that’s her choice. A wrong one but her choice none the less. It leaves me the pleasure of going out in the ring and proving her wrong. Not only will I prove her wrong there but I’ll give her a little lesson in listening. The dumb bitch actually thinks I called her a slut. If she had cleaned the shit out of her ears she would have heard me say that she was less like a slut. That seemed to get under her skin. I do find it funny that she picked up on that but not the rest of the sentence. Evidently the girl prefers insults over compliments. Hey that’s not a problem with me; it gives me something to amuse myself for more than a few minutes. It’s such a shame that I’m going to have to end the career of a prominent addition to the divas roster so soon after it started but she brought it upon herself. I just hope she remembers that when her ass is laying on the mat next week a bloody and battered mess. Maybe next time she will learn to look at who she’s talking to before she starts running her mouth.
Trish leaned against the seat of her limo letting out an irritated sigh in the process. Her assistant Karen had scheduled her to do a radio station and it was quite clear that she didn’t want to do it. Still it was already booked and she didn’t have much choice. She turned her head gazing out the window watching everything blur past her. A few moments pass and she feels the limo hit a bump. She raises her head slightly seeing if she could tell what was going on. She looked up to see the limo pulling into the radio stations parking lot. Trish let out another groan as her body crashed back against the seat. The limo continues pulling through the parking lot coming to a stop in front of a pair of solid gray doors. As the engine went silent a man dressed in a plain black suit with a white dress shirt got out and walked towards the back opening the left rear door. Trish begrudgingly slid out. She thanked the driver for his help and made her way towards the building. As she reached the door she gave the guard at the door her name. He looked over at his clipboard, scanning up and down the page till he found her name towards the bottom. He checked her name off the list and motions for her to go inside. As she steps inside the building she sees a small square reception desk a short ways down the hall. She pauses long enough to adjust her purse on her shoulder before heading towards it. When she reaches the desk she sees the receptionist is on the phone, she leans across the desk trying her best to be patient for her to finish the call. A few moments pass and the receptionist finishes her call. She places the receiver back on the hook before looking at Trish with an annoyed look on her face.
Receptionist: Is there something I can help you with?
Trish Stratus Jericho: First of all lose the attitude sweetie, I deal with that shit all day and I don’t need to put up with it from you. Now I’m here to do a radio interview with one of your d.j?s…a Ryan Dunn.
Receptionist: Your name please.
Trish Stratus Jericho: My name is Trish Stratus Jericho.
The receptionist turned her attention away from Trish grabbing a clipboard from on top of her desk. She lays it down in front of her scrolling down the list of names on the piece of paper attached to it. As she continues to scroll up and down the list of names Trish starts tapping her nails on the desk in an irritated fashion. Finally the receptionist finds her name towards the bottom of the list and lays the clipboard back down on the desk.
Receptionist: Okay, you go down the hallway behind me till you reach the end. There you will find a hallway running horizontally, turn right and go about halfway down. That will be the studio Aaron will be broadcasting from. Just tap on the window and he’ll motion for you to come in when he’s ready.
Trish flashes her, her usual smart ass grin before pushing her small frame off the desk.
Trish Stratus Jericho: See that wasn’t so hard was it? I guess finding good help isn’t just a problem in the wrestling business.
Before the receptionist could respond Trish walks past the reception desk making her way down the lengthy hallway following the directions the receptionist gave her. Finally she reached the studio. Sitting in a typical desk chair was a semi young man a little on the small side talking into a microphone. Doing as she was instructed Trish tapped on the window. Aaron looked up at the window seeing Trish standing outside. He moved over to his switchboard and pressed play. As the song continued to play he motioned for Trish to come inside. She grabbed the knob on the door twisting it slightly to the right and gently shoving the door inward. Once he inside he motioned for her to have a seat in the chair he had pulled beside him. Trish nodded in acceptance as she made her way across the rather small room. Taking a seat in the chair next to him she got herself comfortable.
Ryan Dunn: I don’t know how familiar you are with this but it’s real simple. I’ll ask you the questions just like you were getting a normal interview and all you have to do is speak directly into the mic in front of you. Basically the same as what you’re used just no TV cameras to deal with.
Trish Stratus Jericho: (giggles) Trust me, this is just better.
Ryan Dunn: Okay as soon as this song is finished playing we’ll get started…alright?
Trish Stratus Jericho: Sounds fine.
Trish leaned back in her chair listening to the song that was currently playing. She didn’t care for it but pretended to be enjoying herself. She hummed along to it quietly to herself twisting around in her seat. Finally the song was reaching the end and Ryan was at the controls ready to start the interview. Trish turned her chair back around facing Aaron as he flipped the switch turning his mic back on.
Ryan Dunn: That was “Run It?from up and coming sensation Chris Brown. Now joining us in the studio is Trish Stratus Jericho, Co-Owner of the World’s Greatest E-Federation and also Raw General Manager. Welcome Trish.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Thanks Ryan.
Ryan Dunn: Okay jumping right into this here, I see here that you have a match coming up this Friday a girl who’s just making her debut in the company. Destiny I believe her name is.
Trish Stratus Jericho: That’s right.
Ryan Dunn: This is this girl’s first week in the company and she’s already got herself in trouble with the boss. Tell me how did this come about?
Trish shakes her head and laughs.
Trish Stratus Jericho: To make a long story short Ryan, she went out to that ring and ran her mouth about me.
Ryan Dunn: Well it had to be something pretty big to get her into much trouble so early in her career.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Not necessarily big, more like typical. You see with new divas today they only seem to know how to say one of two things, either someone’s a slut or their over rated. Destiny just happened to choose the latter.
Ryan Dunn: Why get so upset at being called over rated?
Trish Stratus Jericho: You sound like Destiny you know that? I’m not offended by it, in fact I find it amusing. She thinks I’m offended because I went out there and called her on it.
Ryan Dunn: If you weren’t offended by it, why go out there?
Trish Stratus Jericho: I’m not about to let some snot nosed twit put me in the same class with Candice Michelle. Besides I got the impression that her way of calling me out. If that’s what she wanted she didn’t have to go to the trouble of trying to insult me all she had to do was ask and her wish would’ve been granted. If she’s as tough as she makes herself out to be then certainly she’s not afraid of little ‘ol me.
Ryan Dunn: You think this was some sort of strategy on her part, to lure you into issuing the challenge?
Trish Stratus Jericho: To be honest Ryan I haven’t a clue as to what’s going on in her head. Here I was sitting there watching her debut listening to her ramble on about how much she loves to fight finding myself unusually intrigued and the next thing I hear is how I’m over rated.
Ryan Dunn: Being a girl who enjoys the fighting aspect of wrestling more than the valet type are you going to be a little more cautious going into this match?
Trish Stratus Jericho: On the contrary Ryan. Do I think Destiny could be a threat…certainly. Do I think she’s reason to be more cautious than normal…absolutely not. You see Destiny’s out to make a name for herself by going after one of the top divas there is and this time it just happens to be me. She plans on showing me how I’m over rated and don’t belong in this business anymore. If I had a dime for every one that has told me that, well I’d be richer than I already am. Destiny’s going to find out when she gets into that ring with me Friday that she has no idea what she’s gotten herself into. I’m not the prim and prissy girls that she’s used to from wrestling training. It’s a shame to end the career of such a promising talent but perhaps it’ll teach her to stick within her league.
Ryan Dunn: Well Trish that’s all the time we have, we enjoyed having you here.
Trish Stratus Jericho: I enjoyed being here.
Ryan reached over to his switchboard pressing a button directly in front of him and as a song continued to play through his headset he takes it off his head laying it down on the desk in front of him then turned around towards Trish.
Ryan Dunn: I really appreciate you coming on the show Trish.
Trish Stratus Jericho: The pleasure was all mine.
Trish pulled herself up from her seat to standing position as Ryan got to his feet as well. He held his hand out for her to shake. She shook his hand briefly before making her way towards the door. Pulling the door towards her she stepped out into the hallway heading back out to her limo as the scene ended.
