November 22, 2007 Marriott Hotel: Tampa, Florida Serenity pulls her rented car into the parking lot of the Reliant Stadium, gunning for the first space she can find. She spies one at the end of the first row and quickly pulls in. Killing the engine she grabs her purse from the passenger seat and opens the door. She steps out, closing the door behind her. Serenity makes her way up to the building showing the security guard on duty her company id. He gives her a nod then pulls the door open for her. Serenity steps inside heading down the hall where the locker rooms are located. She pauses, pulling a small piece of paper from her pocket out which gave her locker room assignment. She glanced at it for a few seconds before stuffing it back in her pocket. As she started on her way she heard a familiar voice calling her name. She turned around to see Todd Grisham heading towards her in a quick pace. Serenity leaned against the cold concrete wall waiting for Todd to catch up to her. As he got closer she saw the microphone in his hand, knowing what he wanted. Finally as Todd caught up to her Serenity pushed herself off the wall. Todd Grisham: Excuse me Serenity; I was hoping to get a quick interview with you about your match. Serenity sighs. Serenity Chambers: Very well Todd, hurry it up I have things to do. Todd raised his microphone up to his lips. Todd Grisham: Ladies and Gentlemen, I’m standing here with WGEF Diva Serenity Chambers who, Saturday Night, will team with Jamie Austin to take on the team of Michael Harris and Chris Acid. (Todd turns towards Serenity) Now Serenity, my first question is this. You have never competed in a match of this magnitude, can you tell us how you’re feeling? Serenity Chambers: Are you kidding me with that question Todd? Take a look at this match; it’s going to be nothing but a cake walk. Michael Harris retired a couple of weeks ago and Chris Acid…well hasn’t been seen in ages. All I have to do is walk down to that ring and show up and this match is in the bag. Todd Grisham: But what about your partners, Jamie Austin, you two have never worked together in the past. How well do you think you’ll be able to work together? Serenity Chambers: Well that depends on Miss Austin now doesn’t it? If she wants to work together I don’t have a problem with that in the least. Course if she’s out for nothing but to screw me over then we’ve got a serious problem. Either way the choice will be hers as to how well we’re able to work together. Todd Grisham: Jamie has yet to appear or speak regarding the match at all. Are you at all concerned if she shows up or not? Serenity Chambers: No Todd I’m not. Like I’ve already said my opponents are either retired or pretty well gone so it doesn’t really make a difference if Jamie decides to show or not. If she does there will just one more bored person there and if she don’t well…I get another partner of my choosing now don’t I? Todd Grisham: Yes you do. Serenity Chambers: That was rhetorical there dumbass. I’m well aware of the rules for this tournament, now if you don’t mind I have better things to do than stand here answering stupid questions. Before Todd could respond Serenity brushed her way past him, heading down the hall as the scene fades to black.
