December 12, 2007: Serenity Chambers�?Locker room: Giant Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania
Hey there all my loyal fans! Normally I’m not this cheerful but hey, I was given a last minute match on this week’s Smackdown and the chance to ruin the hopes of the newest member of the WGEF Roster. While this news may seem exciting there’s one little problem with it. I know absolutely nothing about this woman. I’ve heard things in the back but as far as actual facts go, unfortunately I have nothing. Okay…that’s not entirely true. I do know her name. Chantal Felix. Not that it’s going to help me much. From what I hear she’s quite the accomplished athlete with moves that you don’t see from the divas these days. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate being the one chosen after Bethany’s sudden departure but it would help if my so called opponent would do something or even do so much as open her mouth it would make my job that much easier. If anything it would give me something to work with but unfortunately I have nothing to do but sit here and bide my time waiting on her to open that mealy little mouth of her. Although I don’t know why I’m so eager for it because I know exactly what I’m going to hear, how I’m one of the wannabe’s afraid of breaking a nail. Oh god how I could just sit here and laugh about that but I’m sure you don’t really want to sit there and read that, so I’ll do my best to stick on topic. My match with Chantal. In most instances I would wonder if she was even going to show but I know she’ll show. And why you ask? Simply because if she’s as good as what people around here say she is, she’ll at least make an appearance to make herself look she’s the best thing to step into the ring in the history of wrestling. I know my career hasn’t been the most illustrious and I don’t claim it to be, but I’m going to sit here and sell myself short either. I don’t need to go out and make myself out to be better than everyone else to feel better about myself unlike some people around here. I’m not saying that Chantal is one of these people by any means, just that it seems to be the current trend as of late For all I know she may the exact opposite. She might actually be one of those who lives up to what she claims to be. Somehow I don’t see that as a possibility but hey, one never knows does one? All I can is when Friday night comes I will finally know what I am up against but until then I have to prepare myself for anything and everything and be ready for it. Until Friday �?Peace Out!

After finishing her blog for her personal website, Serenity closed the lid on her laptop. She unhooks the cord and slides it back into its bag. She pulls the zipper across just as there was a knock on her door. Expecting it to be one of the company's resident pain in the ass interviews she lets out a loud groan before begrudgingly calling for them to come in. As the door starts to open she slides her laptop next to her bag beside the couch then leaning back against the couch cushions doing her beast to prepare herself for the interview she was certain she would be experiencing. Of course she was soon proven wrong when her tag team partner Jamie Austin made her way through the door, with a distraught look upon her face, pulling a small collection of kids behind her. Serenity invited her to have a seat on the couch as she turned on some cartoons for the kids. Within seconds, Sponge bob’s image splashed on the screen, giving Serenity and Jamie a chance to sit and talk.
Serenity Chambers: Jamie, you look terrible. What’s wrong?
Jamie Austin: It’s this thing with John. I know the kids aren’t his, their Nyman’s but he’s the father they’ve known their whole life and he’s turning his back on them for DX.
Serenity Chambers: You know what? They don’t need him and neither do you. He don’t want to have anything to do with them that’s his choice. They deserve better than him anyway.
Jamie Austin: I know you’re right but I still can’t help feeling this way. Listen I’m sorry to bother you with my problems when you have a match to be getting ready for. It’s just that Nyman’s not in our locker room right now and I needed someone to talk to.
Serenity Chambers: You’re not a bother in anyway, that’s what friends are for. As far as my match goes, I’m not that shaken up by it. Sure Chantal has a pretty big reputation in the business but she hasn’t so much as said a word around here to give me any reason to believe what’s going around is more than just talk. I need something solid to go on before two thoughts about it.
Jamie Austin: I don’t know, I’d be a little more cautious if I were you. Rumor has it Chantal is quite the established wrestler and without knowing anything about her I’d be a tad curious as to what I’m up against. Serenity Chambers: Oh I’m curious about it, just not too curious. I guess you could call it a case of curiosity kills the cat. If I go getting overly curious as to what she could do or even capable of I’ll be giving her an advantage and I’m not about to do that. If I have to go into this match knowing nothing than I want her going into it the exact same way. Jamie Austin: What about the tapes of your old matches? She’s going to have an easier time getting a hold of those than you did getting hers. Serenity Chambers: Oh I have no doubts on that but that’s all she’s going to be getting. If she’s naïve enough to think that sitting there watching tapes is going to help her get the win over me in any way she’s crazier than any of the other so called women on this roster. All that’s going to do is give her a glimpse of what I can do, not what I can fully do when need be. Jamie Austin: She even shown up yet? For all you know she could be lingering around in the hallway waiting for you to say the slightest thing she could use against you. Even if its something as ridiculous as you not having anything on her. Serenity Chambers: (laughing) That’ll be the only thing she’s going to get. If she’s that desperate enough to lurk outside of my locker room or follow me around all day in hopes of getting me to slip and say something to give her just the tiniest little bit of information on me that’s her own sad, pathetic decision. Serenity looks down at her watch seeing that it was getting kind of late. She hated cutting her conversation with Jamie short but she really needed to get a workout in if she was going to be ready for Chantal Friday night. She looked over at Jamie. Her eyes were glazed over as if she could fall asleep at any minute. Serenity rose from her seat motioning for Jamie to lie down. Jamie nodded as she lowered her frame onto the cushions. Serenity stepped out into the hallways asking one of the female crew members to sit in there with the kids so Jamie could get some sleep. She headed down the hall as the scene faded to black. |
