:The New Face Of Serene:

The scene opens in the parking lot of the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado where WGEF Smackdown will be broadcasting live this coming Friday night. As the scene continues to play a silver Mercedes pulls into the parking lot heading for the empty space at the end of the first row. Finally the car pulls into the space and the engine dies. The door slowly opens and a leg emerges from inside covered in a leather fabric. The individual steps out of the car and the camera slowly pans upward revealing the person to be WGEF Diva Serenity Chambers. Serenity brushed a stray section of hair behind her shoulders then reached back inside pulling out a medium sized suitcase on wheels. Placing the suitcase beside her she pushed the door closed. She shoved her keys into her pocket then headed towards the arena pulling her suitcase behind her. Moments later she stepped up on the sidewalk heading towards the security guard who had been assigned the task of checking ids. When she reached him she came to a stop. She bent down in front of her suitcase fishing through the front pocket for her staff id card. A couple of minutes later she finds the card and pulls it out handing it up to the security guard. He looks at it for a few moments before handing it back to Serenity. She shoves the card back into her suitcase and rises back to a standing position. The security guard checks her name off on his clipboard then holds the door open for her. Serenity steps through the doorway to the usual madhouse that accompanied any WGEF event. She stood there for a few seconds rolling her eyes at the chaos before heading down the hallway where the management offices were supposed to be. As she passed by temporary General Manager Summer Fox’s office a single sheet of paper caught her eye. Seeing the Smackdown logo on top of the page she knew that it was indeed the new card. Curious to see if she had a match she walked over to the paper. She placed her French Manicured nail on the page scrolling down to the bottom looking for her name. There it was in the pre main event. Her eyes darted to see just who the poor sap she will be facing is. WGEF Co-owner Kaylee Adams Reso. Serenity felt a small wave of panic come over her as she continued to stare at the card. Kaylee was one of the most accomplished women in the WGEF and facing her was enough to make anyone nervous. Serenity took in a deep breath letting it out slowly as her eyes remained focused on the card. She knew she shouldn’t be nervous. She had more than proven herself at the Royal Rumble by beating the one man that everyone figured would win. If she could do that then she could do this too, she just needed to make herself believe it. Just as she was about to turn around something else caught her eye. There was a special guest referee for her and Kaylee’s match. Summer Fox of all people. Serenity couldn’t help but roll her eyes at seeing Summer’s name. She could feel her nervousness subside, quickly replaced with a sense of determination. She pushed a stray section of her luscious blonde hair behind her shoulder and started to turn around when she smacked into someone. Serenity braced herself against the wall to keep from falling as she looked up to see who it was she had bumped into. None other than WGEF’s resident pain in the ass Todd Grisham, as usual he had his microphone in hand. Serenity let out a groan knowing just what he was after.   Todd Grisham: Excuse me Serenity, I didn’t mean to almost knock you down. I couldn’t help but notice you looking at the new Smackdown card and I was hoping to get your thoughts on your upcoming match against Kaylee Adams Reso.   Serenity Chambers: It’s not like I really have a choice in the matter. If I say no you’re just going to pester me at every turn until I finally give in and say yes, so I’m just going to save you the trouble and just say yes right away. Go ahead and ask your stupid questions so I can drop my bag off.   Not wasting any time Todd calls for the nearby cameraman, who quickly makes his way over and starts setting up. Serenity leans against the wall, twirling a small section of hair between her fingers as she waits for the cameraman to be ready. After awhile he finally announces he’s ready. Serenity pushes herself off the wall, standing next to Todd as he begins to speak.   Todd Grisham: Welcome to WGEF Smackdown. I am standing here with 2008 Royal Rumble winner, Serenity Chambers. (He turns towards Serenity) Serenity, you’ve accomplished one, if not the biggest achievements in the WGEF by beating Deacon Havok and winning the Royal Rumble. This week on Smackdown, you have an opponent who has quite a bit off accolades herself. That being WGEF Co-Owner Kaylee Adams Reso. How do you feel about facing such another tough competitor so soon?   Serenity Chambers:  How do I feel about facing such stiff competition so soon? Gee Todd, did you think of that one all by yourself or did some kindergartener think it up for you? (He starts to speak but she cuts him off) Save it Todd, I really don’t want to know. To answer your ridiculous question, I feel great about it. Why? Because it’s what I do. I’m here to wrestle not parade around like the majority of the women here. Todd Grisham: I know you’re coming off a huge win, what do you think your chances are for beating Kaylee Friday night? Serenity Chambers: Like you said Todd, I just come off a huge win which I think speaks for itself don’t you? Before Todd could muster out a reply Serenity whips around and heads down the hall leaving Todd standing there with a dumbfounded look on his face as the scene fades.
