The scene opens up just outside the Air Canada Center in Trish’s hometown of Toronto which will be playing host to this week’s WGEF Smackdown! In just a few hours. It’s about five o’clock and the superstars are just starting to arrive. As several limos pull up in front of the rear doors, a silver Mercedes Benz pulls into the parking lot heading for the open spot at the end of the first row. As the car comes to a stop the driver kills the engine. Slowly the car door swings open and we see a black high heel shoe emerge from inside. A few seconds later the rest of the individual slid out of the car. The camera slowly panned upwards revealing it to be WGEF Co-Owner Trish Stratus. Trish lets out a sigh as she reaches back inside her car for her gym bag. Hoisting the bag on her shoulders Trish pushes the car door closed and makes her way towards the building. As she reaches the door she flashes the security guard her staff id badge. He takes the badge and looks it over for a few seconds before handing it back to Trish. She flashes him a polite smile and makes her way inside. Once inside she turns down the hallway where the locker rooms were at. As she makes her way down the hall she sees her friend Drake Striker standing just a few feet away sipping on a cup of coffee. She makes her way over to where he’s standing for a little friendly chit chat He told her about Chris Orton’s latest in ring promo. Trish couldn’t help at how predictable he was. Her laughter was soon interrupted by someone tapping her on the shoulder. She turned around to see none other than Todd Grisham standing behind her holding his microphone in his hand accompanied by the same goofy expression on his face.
Todd Grisham: Excuse me Trish, but I was hoping to get a quick interview with you about your match Tuesday night on Raw.
Trish Stratus: Don’t even give me time to get to my office and drop my stuff off before you hunt me down to ask another series of stupid questions.
Todd Grisham: Well I?
Trish rolls her eyes as she pulls her hand away from the card signaling to Todd to shut up.
Trish Stratus: Did I ask to hear your pathetic excuses Todd? No I didn’t. Just get your stupid questions over with so I can have a few moments of peace while the day is still young yet.
Todd Grisham: I wasn’t going to?
Trish Stratus: Just shut up already and ask the questions.
Todd nods and calls for a cameraman. A few moments later they are joined by one of the company’s many cameramen. The cameraman positions the camera on his shoulders aiming it directly at Todd as he gets ready. A few moments pass and he gives Todd the all clear signal. Todd raises his mic up towards his mouth and starts to speak.
Todd Grisham: Ladies and Gentlemen I’m standing here with WGEF Co- Owner and Raw General Manager Trish Stratus, who tomorrow night will be taking on recent nemesis Chris Orton. (Todd turns towards Trish) Trish my first question is this, what are your thoughts on facing Chris Orton?
Trish Stratus: My thoughts on Chris Orton? Actually I prefer not to even think about him, it doesn’t set to well with my stomach.
Todd Grisham: Alright then, last week on Raw after you defeated Brock Johnson to retain your Intercontinental Title, Chris Orton came into the ring delivering a CKO on you. In fact he seems to be quite proud that he did it. What do you have to say to that?
Trish Stratus: Proud huh? (Todd nods) Hmmm?.interesting. Not exactly the feeling that I’d get from it but then again it’s not a rare occasion that I get the best of someone. Then again this is Chris Orton we’re talking about here, the only person he got to touch was Sharmaine and coincidently enough she grew tired of it and retired. Now the only way poor Chris can get his hands on a woman is to get her from behind. Pretty sad if you ask me.
Todd Grisham: He said that he did it to send a message to Deacon and get him to show his face and he couldn’t even do that to save you from getting your neck broken.
Trish Stratus: The man seriously needs glasses, contacts…something. If he bothered to pull his head out of his ass long enough to pay attention he would know that Deacon has shown his face last Tuesday on Raw after Chris’s attack on me. As for me getting my neck broken, Chris honestly are you that dense that you believe I need someone to protect me from you? (She rolls her eyes) Let me ask you something Chris, who was it that kicked your ass in a street fight two weeks ago, me or Deacon? (She pretends to think) Oh right that was me. Kind of blows your theory out of the water doesn’t it? I mean, here you have me being a scared little girl who can’t defend yourself when just two weeks before I kicked your ass in a street fight. What could have possible changed this picture? Your CKO? Sweetie please, stop taking whatever drug you’re on and get a huge dose of reality before you get worse than you already are.
Todd Grisham: Chris made light of the fact that Deacon hasn’t been seen in a few days. Can you tell us where Deacon is and if he’ll be coming to Smackdown!?
Trish Stratus: No Todd I can’t. because I’m not his personal keeper. He’s a big boy and quite able to take care of himself. If you want to know where he is and if he’s going to show then I suggest you get his number and ask him yourself.
Todd Grisham: Okay then. Well, Chris stated that you should leave Deacon because he’s using you to get ahead in the WGEF and more importantly get his hands on the WGEF Championship. What are your thoughts on that?
Trish Stratus: (She laughs) That man gets more delusional by the minute. First I’m scared of him and now I should drop Deacon because he supposedly is using me to get his hands on the WGEF Championship? Well thank god Chris was there to tell me or I never would have known. And here I thought Deacon busted his ass in the Royal Rumble and was screwed out of what should have been his by Serenity Chambers. But if my giving him a chance at No Way Out is my being used to give him the title is my being used then I have had one hell of a misconception of it all these years.
Todd Grisham: One last question Trish. In his closing statement Chris said that you should get back with your ex husband Chris Jericho because he would at least show up to fight. Any comments?
Trish Stratus: Chris Jericho show up for a fight? Please. He didn’t show up to spend time with me unless I said that I was getting tired of being alone or someone shown any interest in me what so ever. And he’s the one who would show up to fight? Somehow I find that more than a tad hard to believe, it’s more like impossible.
Before Todd could even so much as mutter a response Trish turns around taking the few steps towards her office door. She grabs the knob, twisting it slightly to the left. Shoving the door inward she glances back at Todd, who is still standing there dumbfounded. She chuckles in amusement as she steps inside and the scene fades to black.
