| Somehow I’ve stumbled back into a bad dream. I about have to be looking at the current Smackdown card, it’s either that or little Miss Fox would like another repeat of the Royal Rumble. Not that I have a problem giving it to her by any means, in fact I would be consider it a pleasure. Granted it wasn’t actually me that eliminated her ass, Deacon did, but even Summer has to admit that I pushed her further than she has been in quite some time. And to think I wasn’t even considered an opponent in her book. I was more like a fish out of water. That will now change thanks to the Royal Rumble and now I’ll be taken as seriously as I should be Oh I can just imagine what sort of shit she’s going to find to say about me now. Knowing Summer it’s going to be a real doozey. If I actually sat here and gave it a thought I’m sure I could venture to guess but I really don’t care. I’ll laugh at them soon enough. That brings me up to Shane Slaughter, the priest turned wrestler. The guy started out on a “holy crusade�?that lasted all of one match against Mark Stone. Okay he won and I have to give him credit for it but the guy hasn’t shown up for a match since nor has he bothered to show his face around an arena. Some crusade. I’d love to know exactly what Summer was thinking picking him to be her tag team partner. That was one hell of a brain lapse on her part, unless she’s sleeping with him. Nothing would surprise me these days even something as far fetched as Summer actually dating someone other than herself. Most people in our shoes would get cocky and assume they weren’t going to show. AC and I are smarter than that. We know they’ll show at some point, when they think we’re off our guard. Little do they know we’re never off our guard. We’re always going to be waiting for the exact moment they choose to show themselves. The scene opens just outside the Air Canada Centre where WGEF Smackdown will be broadcasting live in just under twenty four hours. Normally this is when the superstars arrive to get in some last minute ring time before their respective matches. Instead the WGEF is holding a special meet and greet with two of the participants in the tag team match, AC Steel and Serenity Chambers Steel. As we move inside we see a single wooden table positioned in the middle of the room, two metal folding chairs were behind it with a stack of both AC and Serenity’s pictures placed in front of each chair. Two boxes of Sharpie markers were placed beside each stack of pictures. Serenity and AC step inside the room, giving it a quick once over before making their way to the opposite side of the room and taking a seat in the chairs. Serenity crossed her legs and rested her elbows on the edge of the table waiting for the large number of fans gathered outside to be let in. She didn’t have long to wait because as soon as everything was set up the head security guard opened the doors. Throngs of people came pushing through the doors heading straight for Serenity and AC. Serenity straightened herself up quickly popping open a pack of markers and one of her promo pictures just a young girl came up to her. She had a smile on her face that made Serenity smile herself. Serenity Chambers: What’s your name sweetie? Girl #1: Ashley. Serenity smiled sweetly as she inscribed a reassuring message on the picture with her signature underneath before handing over to her. Ashley: Thank you so much. I really hope you and AC beat Summer and Shane tomorrow night, you guys are my favorite. Serenity Chambers: Well that’s really sweet…thank you. AC and I always appreciate hearing someone hoping we’ll win. Don’t you worry honey we have every plan of beating Summer and Shane. Ashley smiles happily and walks over to AC. As Serenity turns around a girl with curly red hair who looks to be around her own age is standing in front of her. Serenity grabs a picture as she starts to speak again. Serenity Chambers: And what’s your name? Girl #2: Tiffany. Serenity quickly scribbles the usual polite message along with her name and hands it back to her. Serenity Chambers: Here ya go hun. I take it you’re going to be watching Smackdown tomorrow night? Tiffany: You’re damn right I am. Although I’m a big Summer fan I’m really looking forward to seeing what you do. What you did at the Royal Rumble was truly amazing, after seeing that I don’t know who to go for. Serenity was less than pleased with the girl’s response but this was for publicity for the WGEF and she had to maintain her decorum. She forced herself to smile sweetly. Serenity Chambers: Well hopefully when you watch the match you’ll enjoy watching it. AC and I plan on going out there and putting on the best show we absolutely can and I’m sure Summer and Shane are planning the same thing. Tiffany: I know you guys have to say nice things like that, but you and Summer really hate each other don’t you? Serenity Chambers: Oh trust me, Summer and I completely despise each other. The Royal Rumble definitely brought that out. You prefer Summer, that’s totally up to you. I just hope that after my husband and I beat Summer and god knows what he is, you’ll see Summer is the past. Serenity motions for her to go on. The girl scowls at her as she walks over to AC. Next up a teenage boy walks up to her carrying a copy of the recent WGEF Magazine that had Serenity on the cover. He lays it on the table in front of her. Serenity Chambers: Well this is truly a great magazine. What is your name handsome? Boy #1: My name is Andrew. Serenity quickly inscribes a message on the front for him and signs her name underneath. She flashes him a wide smile as she hands it back to him. Serenity Chambers: There ya go sweetie. Don’t forget to watch Smackdown Friday night. Andrew: I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I’m so looking forward to yours and AC’s match against Summer and Shane. I know you and Summer put on a hell of a show what little you faced each other at the Rumble but Shane is a whole new opponent and one you know nothing about. Aren’t you nervous? Serenity Chambers: I don’t know if nervous is the right word but I’m definitely keeping my ears and eyes open for anything on him so I can at least be somewhat prepared for him. Summer on the other hand, I know more than enough about so I’m fine there. The meet and greet continued for about another hour. Finally the last person came and both AC and Serenity gave out an autograph. After the last person had left they got up from their seats making their way across the large room to their waiting limo as the scene fades. |
