| The scene opens in Tampa, Florida just outside the mansion of Jason Reso, better known to wrestling fans all over the world as Christian Cage and his fiancée Serenity Chambers. It’s early morning and the sun is just starting to set over the roof as we move inside to the master bedroom where two bodies are seen huddled together under a thin white blanket. The camera slowly moves over to the far side of the bed where we see an alarm clock sitting on top of the nightstand. The camera zooms in on the bright red numbers seeing that it’s 6:59. As the time changes to 7:00 a slight buzzing sound fills the room. Moments later a hand emerges from underneath the covers stretching over to the alarm pressing the alarm button filling the room once again with silence. The covers fling back and one of the occupants start to stir. Flinging their legs over the edge of the bed they slide down onto the floor. The camera slowly pans upward revealing it to be Serenity Chambers. Serenity sat on the edge of the bed rubbing the sleep out of her eyes while coaxing herself out of bed. A few moments pass and she finally slides off the bed rising to a standing position. She makes her way around the end of the bed over to the dresser. She pulls out the middle drawer grabbing a plain white tank top and a matching pair of wind pants. Shoving the drawer back in she pulls out the top drawer and grabs a white lacey thong and a white sports bra. Having the clothes she needed Serenity made her way over to the bathroom. She lays the clothes down on the edge of the sink and walks over to the tub. She pulls the shower curtain back and reaching for the knobs, twisting them to get her desired water temperature. Once she was satisfied she pulled the shower curtain back across and gets undressed. She pulled the shower curtain back across, stepping inside before pulling it across again. Serenity steps under the shower head letting the steaming hot liquid pour all over her body. She leaned her head back, closing her eyes and letting the water pour down her face. After a half an hour had passed she reached around and shut the water off. As the water turned from a steady stream to a few drips she stuck her hand past the shower curtain grabbing a towel off the rack and wrapping it around her body. Serenity stepped out onto the bathroom floor making her way over to the sink. She tosses her towel into the hamper and quickly slips into the clothes she brought in with her. Pulling her still dripping wet hair back into a ponytail Trish steps back into the bedroom to find her fiancé Jason lounging on the bed watching the WGEF’s Sunday morning program, Sunday Morning Shakedown. She looks across the room at him surprised to see him awake so early. She walks over to the bed, crawling across it to have a seat next to him.

What are you doing up so early, you don’t have to be up for another couple hours yet? %Jason Reso%
What and miss seeing the sexiest woman in the world the very first thing in the morning? Serenity lets out a small laugh as she playfully hits him in the chest. %Serenity Chambers%
It’s only a small training session for my match with this semi new girl by the name of Tapanga Britt Friday night on Smackdown. %Jason Reso%
New girl huh? Any idea what she’s like? %Serenity Chambers%
I haven’t really heard all that much but from what a few people have said she’s pretty decent. %Jason Reso%
Well at least that’s an improvement from what you usually get booked against. Normally the ones you get can’t even tie their own shoe much less actually wrestle. You aren’t nervous are you? %Serenity Chambers%
Me…nervous? You’ve got to be kidding. I’m the opposite of nervous. I know it sounds corny but I’m actually looking forward to this. %Jason Reso%
You looking forward to a match means one of two things, either she’s said something about you that you don’t like or she’s intrigued you. Since you seem to be in a rather good mood I’m going to guess the latter of the two.

Of course I’m intrigued. I’ve watched a few of her matches and she’s amazing to watch. She doesn’t go out there and hit a few moves and that’s the end of the show. She gets up on the ropes and flies all over the place. I know she hasn’t exactly been given the best opponents around here but she’s demolished every one of them. I’ve definitely got my work cut out for me in this one. %Jason Reso%
Relax you’ve got nothing to worry about. You’ve had your work cut out for you before and come through with flying colors. Tapanga isn’t going to be any different. Sure she’s got the highflying thing that most of the divas don’t but if you keep on her and don’t let her get anywhere near the ropes you won’t have to worry about it being a factor. %Serenity Chambers%

I’m not coaching you, I’m giving you some moral support. After that loss to Sharmaine the other week I know how much it frustrated you and I don’t want to see you let it make you question whether you can beat Tapanga or not. %Serenity Chambers%
Relax I’m not letting my loss to Sharmaine get in the way of this. If anything that loss helped me see what I was doing wrong so I wouldn’t do it the next time. %Jason Reso%

I didn’t say it didn’t piss me off cause believe me it did. I knew I could beat her just like I know that I can Tapanga but I’m not going to let the loss get in the way of keeping my focus on Tapanga. I want this Jay. Hell I need it if I want to keep it buried in everyone’s heads that I’m not a joke like the majority of the women in this company. I’ve worked way to long and hard to let it slip through my fingers now. %Jason Reso%
Trust me people take you seriously. The only one who didn’t was Summer Fox and she’s retired yet again so you don’t have to worry about her.

Trust me if she doesn’t I’ll be more than happy to give her a quick refresher course. (She glances over at the alarm clock on the nightstand seeing that it’s almost 7:30) As much as I would love to continue this conversation I have to head to the arena for a quick interview with either Maria or Todd then head to the gym for a work out. Doesn’t leave us the most time in the world but I promise after tonight we’ll have a lot more time to spend together. %Jason Reso%

I don’t know about biggest but I’m glad you’re not upset. I promise first thing after the match I’m all yours. Serenity leans over giving Jason a soft kiss on the lips before pulling back a few seconds later. She slides off the end of the bed making her way over to the door before disappearing into the hallway. The scene reopens a couple of hours later just outside the Conseco Fieldhouse deep in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana which will be playing host to this week’s WGEF Smackdown! in just a few hours. It’s about five o’clock and the superstars are just starting to arrive. As several limos pull up in front of the rear doors, a silver Mercedes Benz pulls into the parking lot heading for the open spot at the end of the first row. As the car comes to a stop the driver kills the engine. Slowly the car door swings open and we see a black high heel shoe emerge from inside. A few seconds later the rest of the individual slid out of the car. The camera slowly panned upwards revealing it to be WGEF Diva Serenity Chambers. Serenity lets out a sigh as she reaches back inside her car for her gym bag. Hoisting the bag on her shoulders Serenity pushes the car door closed and makes her way towards the building. As she reaches the door she flashes the security guard her staff id badge. He takes the badge and looks it over for a few seconds before handing it back to her. Serenity flashes him a polite smile and makes her way inside. Once inside she turns down the hallway where the locker rooms were at. As she makes her way down the hall she sees her friend Jamie Austin standing just a few feet away sipping on a cup of coffee. She makes her way over to where he’s standing for a little friendly chit chat He told her how Tapanga had been spreading it around that she could beat Serenity. Serenity couldn’t help but laugh. A few wins over easy opponents and this girl thought she could beat anyone. We’ll just see about that. As Jamie and Serenity continued to laugh at Tapanga’s expense Serenity’s laughter was soon interrupted by someone tapping her on the shoulder. She turned around to see none other than Todd Grisham standing behind her holding his microphone in his hand accompanied by the same goofy expression on his face. %Todd Grisham%
Excuse me Serenity, but I was hoping to get a quick interview with you about your match tonight on Smackdown!.
%Serenity Chambers%
Don’t even give me time to get to my locker room and drop my stuff off before you hunt me down to ask another series of stupid questions.

Serenity rolls her eyes as she pulls her hand away from the card signaling to Todd to shut up.

Did I ask to hear your pathetic excuses Todd? No I didn’t. Just get your stupid questions over with so I can have a few moments of peace while the day is still young yet.

Todd nods and calls for a cameraman. A few moments later they are joined by one of the company’s many cameramen. The cameraman positions the camera on his shoulders aiming it directly at Todd as he gets ready. A few moments pass and he gives Todd the all clear signal. Todd raises his mic up towards his mouth and starts to speak.

Ladies and Gentlemen I’m standing here with WGEF Diva Serenity Chambers, who later on this evening will be stepping into the ring with rising sensation Tapanga Britt. Now Serenity, Tapanga has been on quite a roll since she arrived in the WGEF and has managed to score a win over every opponent. Will you be the one to finally beat Tapanga or will you fall victim to her as well? %Serenity Chambers%
You’re funny Todd you know that? Me falling victim to Tapanga. Take a look at who she’s been put up against. The most worthless people on the roster. Not exactly hard to score a win over someone who the only moves they know is a few slaps and possibly a kick or two. Looking at that Todd, I’d say that pretty well answers your question. %Todd Grisham%
I haven’t exactly spoken to Tapanga myself but rumor has it that she’s confident that she will be able to beat you here tonight. What do you have to say to that? %Serenity Chambers%
I’m glad to see that she has some spunk about her. It’s going to make my victory that much more enjoyable. I’ll give her credit Todd when it comes to what she can do in the ring, she’s amazing to watch but as amazing as she is I am that much better and after tonight Tapanga is going to see that she should just stay in the minor leagues and get the wins over the wannabes where she at least stands a chance. %Todd Grisham%
Those are pretty strong words Serenity. Don’t forget Tapanga has a different style in the ring than yourself. Her high flying has gotten the best of a good share of the divas here. %Serenity Chambers%
What do you expect from them Todd…honestly. Most of them are just lucky that they are able to tie their shoes every day and you expect them to be able to muster any type of defense against someone who likes to showboat. Please. %Todd Grisham%

Oh don’t worry Todd I have my ways. Ways of which I don’t care to share with you at the moment simply because I want everything to be a surprise for Miss Britt. And I can’t have you spoiling my surprise by letting her have a sneak peek live on TV now can I? (He shakes his head) Of course we can’t. So until then I’ll go do something more pleasant and you’ll go annoy someone who isn’t me. Okay? Having said all she needed to say, Serenity turned around and walked the few steps towards her locker room door. Gripping the handle she twisted it slightly to the right and shoved it forward. She turned around to give Todd one final look. He was still standing there with a blank expression on his face. Serenity let out a laugh and stepped inside the room as the scene faded to black.. |
