After finishing up her radio interview Trish made her way back down the hallway. As she reaches the end she turns back down the main hallway coming up behind the reception desk. She can’t help but snicker as she sees the receptionist still sitting at her desk painting her nails. Shaking her head and chuckling to herself she continued down the hallway. When she reached the desk she walked up beside the desk leans across the desk knocking the bottle of bright red nail polish all over the desk. As the receptionist looks up at her in disgust Trish flashes her innocent smile.
Trish Stratus Jericho: You really should keep a better hold on that bottle sweetie it does tend to make a mess when it spills.
Before the receptionist can even mutter out a reply Trish pushes her small frame off the desk and walks the short distance from the desk to the entry door. As she reaches the door the security guard positioned outside pulled the door open for her. She smiles politely at him thanking him as she breezed through the door. She steps on the sidewalk to see the limo driver standing right beside the left rear door gripping the handle tightly waiting on Trish to reach him. Finally she reached the end of the sidewalk and the driver pulls the door open watching as Trish slides inside. Once Trish is inside he closes the door to the limo and walked around to the front. Opening the front left door he quickly slides into the driver’s seat and fires up the engine. Before he starts to pull out of the parking lot he turns around towards Trish.
Limo Driver: Where to Mrs. Jericho?
Trish looks down at her watch seeing that her flight to London was scheduled to leave in an hour. She let out an uneasy sigh knowing that she doesn’t have the time to run back home and get some clothes into her suitcase and rush back out and still make her flight on time. She lets her body fall back against the seat looking up at the limo driver.
Trish Stratus Jericho: I guess to the airport Carlos, I’ll just have to call Chris and have him pack my suitcase and bring it when he and Crystal come to the airport.
Carlos simply nods as he turns back around; he puts the limo into drive and pulls out of the parking lot. As it reaches the end of the drive the fans once again pound on the glass trying to get some form of attention out of Trish. She simply rolls her eyes as them as she digs into her purse looking for her cell phone. After a few minutes she finally finds it shoved down at the bottom of her purse. She pulls the phone out and flips it open. She pulls up her contacts and flips through to Chris’s number. After flipping through a couple of numbers she reaches Chris’s number and goes through the options, finally pressing the call button. As the phone starts to ring she reaches over to the armrest and presses the button that controls the patrician. Just as the patrician reaches the top Chris picks up the phone.
Chris Jericho: Hey babe, how did the interview go?
Trish Stratus Jericho: Eh it was alright. Exactly the same as the stupid questions that Todd pesters me with every day except this was from a different idiot.
Chris Jericho: Sounds like you had just as much fun as I have getting Crystal ready this morning. She’s all excited about flying with mommy to watch her match.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Yes well she can’t watch too much of it. I know it’s going to be on early enough where she can stay up if she gets a nap in but considering how violent and bloody it’s going to get its best that she not see it.
Chris Jericho: I suppose you’re right but she really wants to see mommy win the title.
Trish giggles at the comment. She can picture her daughter throwing a fit and wanting to see Trish win the Women’s Title still she didn’t want her to see a match that was going to be as graphic as this one was shaping up to be.
Trish Stratus Jericho: That’s my girl. I don’t know Chris something just tells me there’s going to be way to much blood and violence for her to see that young and trust me I see a lot of that between myself, Sharmaine and Kat.
Chris Jericho: Ruling out Eryhen are ya?
Trish Stratus Jericho: Wouldn’t you? The dip comes out to the ring whines that she wants her rematch and then don’t bother to show when she does get it. That right there pretty much says she never wanted the shot in the first place just wanted to waste the good time of everyone involved. Besides I’ve got better things to focus on right now then whether or not Eryhen is going to show her face or not. I’ve got my hands full with Sharmaine and more importantly Kat right now and?
Chris Jericho: Hold up why is Kat suddenly more important? Sharmaine’s the one with the title.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Look at the facts Chris. Kat’s been the one out there cutting promos for this thing whereas Sharmaine has been busy playing host with MTV and having a little spat with mommy. Evidently Miss James doesn’t want the title anymore than Eryhen does. If they feel that way about it why don’t they save themselves the trouble and both drop out and leave this between just me and Kat. I know its rare but I’m sure even Kat would agree to that.
Chris Jericho: Awfully violent already aren’t you? Geesh makes me glad I’m not going to be in that ring across from you or I’d be the one being taken out on a stretcher.
Trish Stratus Jericho: (laughing) Hadn’t thought of that but I’ll add that to the list of things I give Karen when I call her from the plane. Listen that reminds me, I don’t have time to come clear back home and get back to the airport before our flight can you pack me a bag and bring it with you?
Chris Jericho: Sure thing babe.
Trish thanked him for getting her things together then blew him a quick kiss into the phone. After saying their goodbyes she flipped her phone back closed and tossed it back into her purse. Leaning her head against the cushion of the seat she lowered the patrician back down and stared out the window.
About an hour later Trish’s limo reaches the airport and pulls into the parking lot. It slowly makes its way through the lengthy driving lane eventually coming to a stop directly in front of the doors. The limo driver killed the engine and opened his door stepping out onto the sidewalk. He quickly walked around to the rear door and pulled it open. A few seconds pass and Trish emerges from inside the limo still dressed in the white tank top and pants that she put on that morning. She grabbed her purse from its place on the seat beside her and drapes it over her shoulder. She rises to a standing position, offering the limo driver a polite smile and a thank you before heading into the airport.  As she reaches the doors they glide open allowing Trish inside. She stepped past the doors coming to a stop on the other side. She reached inside her purse looking for her airline ticket. Finally finding it next to her cell phone she pulls it out. Her eyes scan the ticket from top to bottom looking for the gate number. She finally finds it on the bottom of the ticket. Gate 23 she quietly says to herself. She lets out a quick hmmm before placing the ticket carefully back into her purse. She takes a quick peek at her watch seeing that she only had 45 minutes left before her flight. Tightening her grip on her purse Trish hurries down the hall searching for gate 23 and her husband and daughter. Halfway down she sees a large sign hanging from the ceiling giving the directions to where different gates are located. Trish pauses to look and see if the gate she was looking for was on there. Sure enough there it was directly in the middle. Just as Trish was about to continue on she heard an unfamiliar voice calling out “Oh my god it’s Trish Stratus!? Trish rolled her eyes in annoyance knowing that it was just some damp pantied fan before turning around and finding two teenage girls standing behind her.
Girl #1: Excuse me Trish but we were hoping to get a quick autograph.
Trish nodded her head in acceptance knowing it was the only way she was going to rid herself of them in time to catch her flight. Before she can even fish around  in her purse for something to write with both girls produce a sharpie marker and a small notebook. The second girls hands the notebook to Trish as she quickly starts to sign a brief message across the top of  the piece of paper.
Girl #1: I know you’re probably in a hurry but I was just wondering are you nervous about facing three other women for the women’s title?
Trish scoffed at the question…her be nervous? Now that was funny.
Trish Stratus Jericho: I’m sorry you have the wrong person. You might want to find Eryhen and ask her that question. I show up for my matches and don’t run away with my tail between my legs.
Girl #2: Okay maybe not nervous but surely you’re concerned about your chances of coming out the winner.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Naturally. Not only do I have one opponent in there but now I have two, maybe three if Eryhen shows.
Girl #1: Do you have to prepare in any special way for more than one opponent?
Trish Stratus Jericho: Not necessarily, you just have to study the moves of more than one person and doing your best to prepare yourself for everything.
Girl #2: Well Kat has to be your biggest opponent tonight.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Surprisingly enough she is. Being the Women’s Champion I would’ve thought Sharmaine would be out more running her mouth about how she’s the greatest and blah, blah, blah  yet nothing. Why am I complaining about it? After all if she doesn’t want the title I’m more than happy to take it off her hands.
Girl #1: With Kat being  your biggest threat, sure you?
Trish Stratus Jericho: Kat…my biggest threat? No. She may be the most aggressive between the three but she’s far from the biggest threat. My biggest threat is not getting to my gate on time.
Trish handed the girls back the notebook after giving each of them the autograph they asked for. She was hoping that would further show that she had other places she needed to be but no such luck.
Girl #2: She has to be something, you’ve faced her twice and have yet to score a victory over her. Aren’t you at all concerned about stepping into the ring with someone you can’t beat?
Trish shot the girls a cold glare as she adjusted her purse on her shoulder.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Someone I can’t beat huh? She gets one victory and a draw over me and that makes her unbeatable to me. Well I guess we shall see how quickly the general perception changes when your precious Kat is left lying on her back
Girl #1: What about David Steel? I know you know what you’re doing but I wouldn’t put it past her not to have him come down and help her get the title.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Perhaps but I can’t see Kat being that stupid. She wants the title more than anything else on this planet and she won’t risk people thinking that she can’t do it on her own. She’ll do this one on her own just to prove to everyone that she’s more than what she is.
Trish looks down at her watch seeing that she only has 20 minutes till her flight leaves.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Listen girls I really do have to be going if I want to catch my flight.
The girls be grudgingly accept and let Trish go on her way. Knowing that she has quite a distance to go Trish starts running down the terminal hoping that she’s able to make it on time. As she continues to run down the hallway her eyes catch her watch –only ten more minutes. Finally after a couple more minutes Trish finally reaches the gate. Out of breath she unzips her purse and reaches inside for her ticket. She pulls it out and hands it to the flight attendant behind the counter. As the flight attendant glances over the Trish looks around noticing that Chris and Crystal aren’t anywhere to be seen. Figuring they must already be on the plane she waits for the attendant to give her back her ticket. Finally he does and Trish hurries through the gate and into the plane where she sees Chris sitting on the outside seat with Crystal on his lap. She quickly shows the stewardess her  ticket and is led to the seat next to him . As she plops her small frame into the seat next to him Crystal crawls over to her.
Chris Jericho: What took you so long? I was beginning to wonder if you were even going to make the plane.
Trish Stratus Jericho: I got stopped by these two pains in the ass girls wanting autographs and of course they had to ask some stupid questions about my match tonight. If I wouldn’t have sprinted across the terminal I wouldn’t have made it here on time.
Trish picks Crystal off her lap and sits her down in the seat next to her as the seatbelt sign comes on. After making sure that Crystal was secured she reached over and fastened her own seatbelt. As she did the stewardess stepped out from behind a curtain and got on the microphone.
Stewardess: Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to flight 930 direct from Toronto, Canada to London, England here on Virgin Atlantic. As soon as the plane has safely made it into the air you will be free to walk around the plane. Enjoy your flight and thank you for flying Virgin Atlantic.
She hung the microphone and disappeared once again behind the curtain. A few moments pass and the seatbelt sign goes off. Trish glances over at Crystal who is fast asleep in her seat. Trish undoes her seatbelt and reaches back inside her purse for her phone. Finding it at the bottom of the main compartment she pulls it out and flips it open She pulls up her contacts and searches for her assistant Karen’s phone number. As she comes across it she presses the call button and listens as the phone starts to ring. A couple of minutes and finally Trish can hear the phone being picked up.
Voice: Hello?
Trish Stratus Jericho: Hey Karen its Trish. Chris, Crystal and I have just left Toronto and are on our way over to London. The way I have it figured we should get there about an hour or two before the pay per view starts.
Karen: That going to give you enough time to over come the jetlag before your match?
Considering you’ve got a title shot tonight you want to make sure you’re well rested going into this.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Don’t worry I’ll have plenty of time to get there and relax a bit before my match comes up. Even with it being third on the card an hour or  two will give me plenty of time.
You worry to much you know that? If I didn’t know better I swear I was talking to Chris instead of you.
Chris opens his eyes and looks over at his wife with a quizzical expression as he tries to figure what’s going on. Seeing him looking at her Trish moves the phone away from her mouth a bit and mouths the word Karen at him. Chris nods and closes his eyes once again.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Did the sets and everything get there on time and set up?
Karen: Everything’s fine. All the stages and sets came this morning and the crew is setting them up now. I told them to make sure they were up when by the time you got here.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Fantastic! I don’t know what I’d do without you helping me.
Karen: Yea about that, Rumor going around the arena is that Kat is under the impression she doesn’t have any major competition and already has the women’s title in the bag?
Trish Stratus Jericho: Is that so? Well I guess I’m just going to have to burst her little bubble when I get there before I do anything else. I’ll give her some credit though she was pretty much right.
Karen: She was?
Trish Stratus Jericho: Well yea. She just missed one little word is all course knowing Kat that was an intentional thing. Not exactly the brightest thing she’s said but not the dumbest either. Contrary to her belief she does have some major competition and that competition is in an airplane heading for London right now. When it comes to Eryhen and Sharmaine, well, as hard as it is to say this I have to agree with her.
Karen: I never thought I’d hear you say something like that.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Me neither, let me tell ya it leaves a bad taste in your mouth too.
Karen: I’ll bet.
Trish Stratus Jericho: So tell me did the self proclaimed women’s champion have other stupid remarks to say?
Karen: Well it seems that she thinks she’s going to walk out without so much as a scratch on her.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Is that so? (laughs) Another dream of hers I’m going to have to break. I tell ya Karen if this keeps up I’m going to have to get me a moniker like Randy Orton and call myself the Dream Breaker.
The two women share a small laugh at Kat’s expense before maintaining their composure moments later.
Karen: That was bad.
Trish Stratus Jericho: True but it had to be said. Is that all she said or is there anything else I should know about?
Karen: Well, she did this little interview with a local station in Miami and it seems her assistant has noticed your knack for tearing Kat down, like you think it’s your duty.
Trish Stratus Jericho: My duty huh: What does she expect me to do go on the radio and give Kat nothing but compliments? She’s my opponent not my best friend I’m not about to make her look good. Has she for once noticed the shit Kat has been saying? It’s not the most flattering either and yet she has a problem with me tearing Kat down…give me a break.
Karen: If you liked that then you’ll love this- evidently your radio interview was on WGEF.com.
Trish burst into laughter catching the attention of nearly half the plane. She ignores their stares and continues her chat with Karen.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Isn’t she smart enough to know that she heard me “tear Kat down?over the radio not read it over the internet?
Karen: Evidently not. Anyway back to Kat. She’s finally aware that you have had strong feelings of beating her ever since this match was made.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Well its nice to see she’s smart enough to pay attention once in awhile. Seriously Karen why shouldn’t I have strong feelings of beating her as she so eloquently put it. She comes out to the ring when I call Sharmine and Eryhen out running her mouth about how I don’t?deserve to even be in this match and that I should stick to running the company. Does she really think that I’m just going to forget about it? I may be blonde but contrary to her belief I’m not stupid.
Karen: She does know that its more about the title for you than actually about her.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Why did you tell me that before Karen instead of letting me go off on a mini tirade and sound like an idiot?
Karen stammers a bit not sure how to respond. Trish just simply laughs off Karen’s stammering easing Karen’s tension in the process.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Honestly Karen I would’ve thought you’d be used to my sense of humor by now. Like I could ever be mad at you.
Karen: Listen I’m sorry about that.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Don’t give it another thought. So anyway Kat has caught on to comments towards her are a sign of me knowing that she’s my biggest competitor huh? Well its nice to see that my efforts weren’t wasted.
Karen: Whoever it was that interviewed her was rather sharp too, he caught on to her saying a lot about you as well.
A smirk spread across Trish’s face followed by a quiet laugh.
Trish Stratus Jericho: I’m sure she just loved that.
Karen: Her only comeback was that you can’t keep her name out of your mouth. Evidently every other thing out of your mouth is in some defense towards what she said.
Trish Stratus Jericho: One calls that clearing up the lies and if she didn’t waste so much of my time telling them left and right I wouldn’t have to clear them up all the time. Trust me Karen I loathe mentioning her name much less even thinking about her but hey she’s the one spending her time running her mouth about me. What choice do I have?
Karen: How very true. Anyway she was expecting you to run into the restaurant or wherever she was having this interview at and say that you don’t do that.
Trish rolled her eyes at Kat’s lameness. She knew it was just another smart ass remark intended to make Trish look like some school girl who couldn’t handle an insult but still that didn’t make it any less idiotic.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Too bad I didn’t know about it ahead of time or I could have been there to run in and say something. Course it wouldn’t have been what she wanted me to say but I can guarantee you she would’ve been talking about it for awhile afterwards.
Karen: Say we’ve talked an awful lot about Kat, what do you have in mind for Sharmaine?
Trish Stratus Jericho: To be honest Karen I haven’t given that dip much thought. I know most people would say that’s a stupid decision on my part with her being the current champion and all but what’s the point? She’s more concerned with keeping the dumb kids entertained on MTV and having a lovers spat with her mom all because she’s a wrestler. My god where’s the tums when you need them?
Karen: Well what are you going to do if Sharmaine pulls out a fast one and surprises you?
Trish Stratus Jericho: Oh you mean after I stand there looking as shocked and bewildered as everyone else? I’m going to do what I do best naturally. Nothing else to do except beat the living hell out of her and take that precious title out her hands. That reminds me Karen, can you do me a huge favor and have a case of disinfectant sent to the arena before the show starts tonight so I have the title cleaned of whatever it is Sharmaine has by the time I leave?
Karen: Sure thing Trish.
Just as Karen finished speaking Trish looked up to see the seatbelt sign had come back on.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Listen Karen we’re arriving at the airport now so I’ll be at the arena in about an hour or so. I  know this is a bad time to ask but my limo is out there right?
Karen: Of course.
Trish thanked Karen and quickly said her goodbyes. As she heard the dial tone coming from the other end she quickly flipped her phone closed. She stuffed back into the main section of her purse and fastened her seatbelt as the stewardess came back out.
Stewardess:  Ladies and Gentlemen we are just about to land at the Heathrow Airport, please make sure you are seated and that your seatbelt is securely fastened around you. We hope that you have enjoyed your flight and will fly Virgin Atlantic in the future.
As she disappears once again behind the curtain as the plane started to descend. After a half hour it finally hit the ground sending everyone flying forward in their seats then slamming against the back seconds later. The plane coasted along the runway eventually coming to a smooth stop in front of the gate. Flight attendants gathered up front as the announcement was made for everyone to begin getting off the plane. Unfastening their seatbelts Trish and Chris rose to their feet. Trish bent down and picked up Crystal from her seat positioning her on her hip as she followed Chris off the plane. As usual people pointed and stared as they made their way through the terminal. Chris headed to the baggage claim as Trish took Crystal to the waiting limo. After having a bag boy grab the bags Chris joined his family inside the limo as the limo driver and bag boy loaded everything into the trunk. After twenty minutes everything was in the trunk. The limo shut the trunk and headed around to the front. He climbed in the driver’s seat and turned on the engine. After a couple of minutes he pulled out of the parking lot and into traffic. An hour and a half later they finally reach the arena to a large group of fans clustered at the top of the back drive. The limo driver fights through it eventually getting through and continuing on to the rear entrance door. The limo came to a stop just in front of the door. The driver got out and walked around to the back, he opened the rear door. Chris slid out first followed by Trish and Crystal. Chris grabbed the bags from the limo driver and followed his wife inside. Once inside Trish laid Crystal down on the floor as Chris came in with the bags.
Trish Stratus Jericho: Listen babe I’ve got something to take care of quick then I’ll be right back to get ready.
Chris nodded as Trish walked the short distance across the room to the doorway eventually disappearing into the hallway.
