OCC: This sucks I know, but I couldn't get a decent idea to save my life but I managed at least this outta my ass. I hope you two can work with it :)

It was just less than a week before WGEF Wrestlemania would be airing live from the sold out Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia with a collection of great matches already booked for the event. One of those matches was the Intercontinental Title match between the reigning champion, Trish Stratus and her recent nemesis Mark Stone. The scene opens up in Montreal, Quebec Canada at the WGEF’s official headquarters where Trish was scheduled to be taking part in a live chat with the fans on the company’s website. As the scene continues to play we see a black stretch limo pulling into the parking lot slowly making its way around to the rear entrance doors which the superstars used when they were there. As the engine goes quiet the left front door opens and a middle aged man dressed in a plain black suit with a white dress shirt steps out. He walks around to the back pulling the door open. A pair of women’s legs emerge from inside touching the pavement below. Moments later the occupant slides the rest of the way out rising to a standing position. The camera slowly pans up their legs revealing the person to be Trish Stratus. Trish offers him a polite smile thanking him for his help as she makes her way to the building, shielding her eyes with her hand from the sun. As she steps into the shade of the building she sees that her favorite security guard, Tim, is on duty. Trish waves her hand in his direction as she steps towards the door. Tim waves back in return as he pulls the entry door open. Once inside, she feels the cool breeze from the air conditioner touch her face. She glances towards the reception desk to see the receptionist, Marie, on the phone. Not wanting to disturb her Trish quietly makes her way over to the desk positioning herself directly in front, laying her arms across it as she waits. A few moments pass and Marie finally finishes the call and turns around to see Trish waiting.

Marie: Well hello Ms. Stratus, is there something I can help you with?

Trish Stratus: For once I actually do need some help. I’m supposed to be scheduled to do a live chat for my Intercontinental Title Match at Wrestlemania against Mark Stone this morning and for some reason no one called Karen to tell her exactly where it was supposed to be.

Marie raises an eyebrow in curiosity as she holds up her index finger signaling for Trish to wait a minute. She turns towards her computer pulling up the file that contained the day’s activities. She scrolled down the page finally finding Trish’s appointment at the middle of the page. With a half smile on her face she turned her attention from the screen and back up at Trish.

Marie: Okay Trish from what it says here, your live chat is being held in the main conference room on the third floor.

Trish nodded her head in acceptance before thanking Marie for her help as she pushed herself off the desk. She made her way through the spacious lobby over to the far left hand corner where the elevators were. She pressed the lobby button and waited for the doors to open. Seconds later a slight ding fills the air as the doors slowly started to open. Trish steps inside pressing the button for the third floor. As the doors start to close Trish leans against the wall trying to envision the questions she will be getting asked. She was seeing questions like ‘Do you think you’ll be able to beat Mark Stone or ‘How do you plan on keeping your title. While both meaningful questions they were quite frankly a bit boring for her. Really it didn’t matter just as long as it didn’t take long. Trish’s thoughts were interrupted by the same slight ding she heard earlier. The doors opened and she stepped out into the hall. She turned to her left heading in the direction of the conference room. About halfway down the hall she finally reached the conference room. She paused in front of the door closing her eyes and taking in a deep breath mentally preparing herself. After a few seconds she exhaled reaching up and gripping the silver handle and twisting it to the right. As she stepped inside the room she found a laptop already set up at the closest end of the table. She glanced up to see the company website moderator, Chad was seated at the far end with a laptop of his own. Trish gave him a nod as she made her way over to the refreshment table, grabbing herself a bottle of water and headed back to her seat. Chad explained to her that he had everything ready and all she had to do was type in her user id and password. Trish moved her hands over to the keyboard typing in what was needed then hitting enter. As soon as Trish was in the room the moderator explained the rules stating that all questions would go through him for approval before sent for Trish to answer. After going over a few more rules he said that he was taking questions for anyone who wanted to ask one. As the questions started flowing in Trish kept her eyes focused on the screen awaiting her first question.

WGEF_Fan: Good Morning Trish. I’ve been following your career ever since you debuted back in the WWE and still am. During your career you’ve faced a variety of opponents ranging from Lita all the way to Kurt Angle. At Armageddon you pulled off an amazing win over Kurt Angle back at Armageddon. Are you sure that you’ll be able to do the same thing against Mark Stone?

Trish stared at the screen with her eyebrow raised in curiosity. Who did this idiot think they were? They acted as if she was just some rookie fresh out of wrestling school who happened to score a lucky break and win a title in the process. She had the notion to tell them just who she was but she debated it against it. This was to promote Wrestlemania and more importantly her own match and it wouldn’t help the buy rates any if she copped an attitude with the first idiot and the chat ended minutes after it started. Instead she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath and held it in for a few seconds before slowly releasing it. She scanned over the question a second time. If she could have reached through the screen and slapped them she definitely would have just for doubting her.

QueenofStratusfaction: Okay there Einstein, let me be the first to officially tell you that you are a bonafide idiot. If I were someone like, say Jamie Austin, I could see you asking such a retarded question but if you’ll kindly look at the top of the screen you’ll that I’m far from being her. When it comes to me doing the same kind of thing against Mark Stone that I did against Kurt there isn’t no thinking to it. Why you may ask? Simply because I don’t need to think about it. I more than know what I’m capable of.  I’m just guessing here but that special school that you go to, or went to, didn’t teach you anything about knowing your own abilities. While Mark is one of the quickest rising names we have here at the moment he’s far from one of the best I’ve ever stepped into the ring with. Although he’ll tell you that he is. To make it easier for your simple ass to understand…if I can beat Kurt I can assure you I will do the same thing to Mark Stone too.

Trish leans back in her chair rereading her answer, sticking her bottom lip out slightly and nodding her head in acceptance. It may have been a bit harsh but she really didn’t care. She was just there to answer whatever questions she was asked as best she could. If the people couldn’t handle the answers, then that was their problem. Trish moved her hand towards the keyboard pressing the enter button. No sooner had her question popped onto the screen she received another question. She reaches over grabbing her bottle of water, twisting off the cap and taking a small sip. Placing the bottle back on the table beside her laptop before turning her attention back to the screen.

StonesGal: Okay I’ve been sitting here watching this spectacle long enough. First of all Mark Stone is a hell of a lot better wrestler than Kurt Angle and if I’m remembering right the only reason you beat him was because you got lucky and rolled out of the Ankle Lock. What makes you think that you’re going to be able to get out of either the Cold Stone or Falling Stone so easily?

QueenofStratusfaction: Here’s a little tidbit for you dip shit?I never said it was going to be easy. I said it was doable. What the hell does Mark Stone have anyway? A rip off of the Fame-Asser and a combination of a knee drop and a Guillotine Knee Drop. I hate to burst your bubble there for ya numb nuts but neither one is exactly impossible to escape from. If you bothered to clean your ears out once in awhile you would know that but then again you have your head way to far up Mark’s ass to know any better now don’t you?

LOH_2008: It’s no secret to anyone here that Mark Stone isn’t going to be an easy man to beat, in fact he’s going to be one of the toughest. In past companies, Mark Stone has had a reputation of not just pinning his opponents but destroying them. Preparing for a man like that is no easy task. Have you given any thought on how you’re going to ready yourself to face Mark?

QueenofStratusfaction: Well there is someone in here with a brain other than myself. To answer your question, I’ve actually given it a great deal of thought. Like you said Mark isn’t going to be an easy task and with my Intercontinental Title on the line I can’t take any chances. As much as I’d like to give you a few more added details unfortunately I can’t since Mark does know how to read, or at least I think he does ;) and I wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise for him.

WGEFsNewKing: Ever since Mark returned he’s been unusually quiet when it comes to being booked on either of the weekly shows, as you have yourself. Most likely he’s using this time to get himself prepared for the match as well, but there’s always the possibility that he’s not going to show. Are you at all concerned that he’s not going to show up?

QueenofStratusfaction: I’m not at all concerned over the possibility of him not showing up simply because I know it’s not going to happen. For one thing Mark may be far from the sharpest knife in the drawer but he’s far from being that stupid. I can guarantee you, just as sure as I am sitting here, that Mark Stone is going to show. Ever since he’s decided to come back from his “little break?of giving his right wrist a little too much exercise, if you catch my point, he’s been having this dream that my Intercontinental Title is his. If his dream gets any bigger he’s going to be standing outside of some rundown hotel with a bunch of note cards giving a speech on how he had a dream that he won the Intercontinental Title.

Trish skimmed over her answer making sure it suited her fancy. Once she was satisfied she moved her finger over to the enter button and pressing it. As her response appeared on the screen she grabbed her bottle of water taking another small sip. She looks up just in time to see another question pop onto the screen.

LegendkillerCKO: Mark Stone has pretty much been a mystery to everyone here in the WGEF with not having been booked against much of the main event superstars. With not having a chance to see what he can fully do in the ring doesn’t give you much of an idea as to what you need to expect. Are you at all concerned about not really knowing what you’re going to be up against?

QueenofStratusfaction: Judging by that screen name I’m guessing that you rode the short bus to school, So I’ll do you a favor and lay it out slow so you can understand. Mark Stone in far from a mystery. He may not have wrestled many, if any, of the best this company has to offer but I’m far from going in there blind. I’ve had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing what he’s done against what competition he’s had so far, not to mention some of his past matches from the promo tapes we received. So as you can see I more than know what I’m up against next weekend.

KayleeTheQueen:
This past week on Raw you took part in the ten person Wrestlemania Preview Match where you put yourself on the same team as your opponent for Wrestlemania, Mark Stone. I know you said that you more than know what you’re up against but did you being on the same team as him have anything to do with your match this Sunday?

QueenofStratusfaction: I guess you could look at it that way but I prefer to look at it as ensuring that Mark makes it to Wrestlemania. Otherwise I have to listen to him bitch day in and day out about how I got a lucky win and quite frankly that’s something I’d rather avoid. I want him to be a hundred percent so when Sunday finally does get here and I beat his ass he won’t have an excuses to fall back on.

As Trish’s reply popped onto the screen the moderator gave her a signal letting her know that the time for the chat to end had come. She gave him a simple nod before turning her attention back to her laptop. Scrolling her fingers over the keys she informed the people that the chat and come to an end. Trish thanked everyone for coming and signed herself out. She rose up from her seat thanking the consultant for monitoring the chat. He gave her a quick nod. Trish turned around and made her way towards the door. She grabs a hold of the silver handle pulling the door towards her, stepping out into the hallway in the direction of the elevators. Stepping inside she pressed the lobby button and waited for the doors to open. Seconds later a slight ding fills the air as the doors slowly started to open. Trish steps inside pressing the button for the lobby. Moments later the doors open and steps out into the hallway, letting out a loud groan in frustration as she heads down to the waiting area giving a quick nod to Marie, who was still seated behind the desk answering the thousands of phone calls flooding through the lines. She knew she shouldn’t be surprised by those questions for some reason she was. She shook her head trying to erase the idiotic questions from her memory but was very unsuccessful. Oh well, it gave the company some good promotion even if she had to endure a couple hours of complete and utter hell. She shrugged it off and continued across the lobby to the entrance door. She breezed through the open doors into the parking lot. The driver opened the door just as Trish reached the limo. She climbed inside sliding over to the far end so Karen could get in, sitting Crystal between them. Just as the limo started to pull out of the parking lot her phone started to ring. She reached into the pocket of her parka pulling out her baby pink RAZR. Flipping the phone open she saw Deacon’s number come up on the caller id screen. She pressed the accept button, raising the phone up to ear as she started to speak.

Trish Stratus: Hey babe, I was just thinking about you.

Deacon Havok:  Were you now? Was it something good or should I be concerned?

Trish Stratus: (She giggles) You’re funny, you know that? Unless you turn out to be a complete idiot who has nothing better to do with your day and ask a stupid question you have nothing to worry about. And trust me…you’re not one, so you’re safe.

Deacon Havok: (He lets out a breath of relief) Am I ever glad to hear that.

Trish Stratus: I’ll bet you are.

Deacon Havok: Judging by the tone of your voice, the web chat didn’t go as well as you had hoped it would.

Trish Stratus: Oh my god, you have no idea. I might as well have just went to the arena and spent a couple hours talking to Todd “I’m a complete idiot?Grisham?or? (Trish shudders) Maria, I swear that woman single handedly gives even the dumbest person in the world a good name. Either way I would’ve had a much better time standing there on the stage driving bamboo sticks under my fingernails until I draw blood.

Deacon Havok: Now surely it couldn’t have been that bad hun. You’ve went through countless interviews with both Todd and Maria and haven’t driven bamboo sticks under your fingernails?yet.

Trish Stratus: Note the phrase yet. I don’t know babe, if that had lasted any longer I would’ve ended up beating those idiots with that microphone  instead of getting so frustrated that I just ended the damn thing and walked off the stage.

Deacon Havok: Let me guess every single one of them asked you about your chances of beating Mark Stone?

Trish Stratus: Not as much as I thought they would but that didn’t stop them from coming up with more stupid questions. I tell ya babe I couldn’t handle talking to those idiots for a second longer. Not without going completely insane and I have to be sane if I’m going to go into the Phillips Arena show Mark Stone for the bitch he is.

Deacon Havok: (He laughs) Of course we can’t have that. Mark’s already deranged enough, you at least have to be sane or you’re never going to retain your title and I can’t wait to see you remain the Intercontinental Champion.

Trish Stratus: And I thought I was looking forward to this match. If I didn’t know better I’d swear you were going up against the Hairless Lapdog instead of me.

Deacon Havok: Don’t worry Mark Stone is all yours,  I’ve got two pain in the asses of my own to worry about. I’m going to be in the back rooting for you to win. Not that you need my help, but I want more than anything for you to defeat Mark and shut that mouth of his.

Trish Stratus: He hasn’t shown his face yet has he?

Deacon Havok:
Not the last I heard but you know Mark, he’s around somewhere. He’s probably sitting in his locker room as we speak with his laptop ready waiting for your chat to be posted on the site so that he can study and find something to use against you.

Trish Stratus: Well naturally, it’s not like Mark can ever come up with anything on his own firs other a bunch of lame jokes. Instead he has to wait for his opponent to say or do something so he can use it to make himself actually appear to have some brains. The man has an over active imagination I know, but hey what can you do? Sit around and wait for him to grow some brains? (She laughs) Fish would ride bicycles before that event happened.

Deacon Havok: You’ve got a point there.

Trish Stratus: Of course I do. As many times as I’ve had the unfortunate pleasure of having to deal with him I’m more than well versed on his methods. I should be since he’s been pestering me since the day he came back from his little vacation.

Deacon Havok: Perhaps that was his plan the whole time. Look at this way, the guy comes back after taking a couple of weeks off and the second he comes back he goes straight for you. Badgering you with shit  at every opportunity and of course you have to answer back. Maybe I’m wrong here babe but I really think he’s trying to throw you off your game so he’d possibly have an easier time getting your title.

Trish sat there thinking about what Deacon had just said for a moment. To be honest until Deacon had mentioned it the thought had never crossed her mind. Of course now that the thought was in her head it was all she could think about. She thought back to their first meeting in the hallway when Mark returned and a couple of weeks ago. It was all to obvious now that she thought of it. Good thing she had Deacon there to look out for her. Not that she wouldn’t have been able to figure it out herself, because she can. Believe me. This is just one of those things that are seen faster when pointed out by someone else. Now that the thought had been introduced she found herself sitting there wondering if Deacon was indeed right about Mark. It did make sense now that she thought about it. The thought made her laugh a little bit. She regained her composure a few moments later. She licked her lips, once again filling them with moisture as she started to speak yet again.

Trish Stratus: I wouldn’t put it past him to be honest. He comes back after taking what…two weeks off…and suddenly decides that he’s the only person worthy of holding the Intercontinental Title. If the man wants to live in a world of delusions who am I to argue it? Besides there could always be worse things in life.

Deacon Havok: And that would be?

Trish Stratus: Talking to Mark Stone again for one, then there’s that live chat, Todd Grisham, Maria…the list goes on.

Deacon Havok: (He laughs) How could anyone object with reasons like that?

Trish Stratus:  Oh trust me someone will at some point. A certain person’s name comes to mind.

Deacon Havok: And who would that be?Mark Stone?

Trish Stratus: How on earth did you guess? (She winks) It’s not like he’s ever said anything that’d remotely hint at it. He’s only attempted to drive me insane since he returned a month or so ago. Every single time I run into him he’s running his mouth about how he’s going to going to take my Intercontinental Title. The man’s nothing but a broken record.

Deacon Havok: I still say he’s trying to get you focused on trading insults instead of the match itself so when you face each other you’ll be so agitated you’ll make a mistake and basically give him your title.

Trish Stratus: Well he’s just going to have to keep on dreaming isn’t he? That title is my one and focus in this match, his redundant comments are in no way going to cause me to lose sight of that. I’ll give him one thing though…it was a cute attempt.

Deacon Havok: Cute…I didn’t think I’d hear you use that word.

Trish Stratus: Why on earth not? It certainly fits him. Other than beating the occasional jobber and getting the United States Title he really hasn’t done much else. And knowing Mark as well as I do, I have no doubts that he’s got plenty more of his comments all lined up just waiting for a chance to use them. I’d bet any amount of money he’s got a list prepared on how I don’t deserve to hold the Intercontinental Title.

Deacon Havok: I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised. It could be why he’s been quiet for the past couple of weeks, that is unless he’s training

Trish Stratus: HA! Mark’s taken off this long to train and my day was fantastic. I don’t believe for one second that’s what he’s doing, even if it came from his own mouth. I know him much better than that. Besides Mark has a reputation for sitting on his ass waiting for his opponent to give him something to use before he can get out from under Evangelia or Candice and do anything productive. Trust me the second that my  chat hits the site he’ll all but wet himself digging through it in hopes of finding even the slightest thing that he can use against me.

Deacon Havok: Did you give him much?

Trish Stratus: To be honest, I really don’t know. Not that it really matters anyway, if he doesn’t have something to twist around to make himself appear clever then he’ll make something up and quite frankly I can find better things to do than go around correcting all of Mark’s mistakes like a teacher going over an essay.

Deacon Havok: I’m not sure exactly which one he’s currently sleeping with but have you given any thought onto either Evangelia or Candice coming down there and giving him a hand?

Actually she hadn’t given any thought into Evangelia or Candice interfering in the match. So far all either of them had done was try to get into Mark’s pants and get the other out which didn’t catch Trish’s attention much. She was more than aware that both women were vying for his affection but until either tried to use her as a way to make them stand out, Trish didn’t see them as a threat.  That wasn’t saying that she wasn’t keeping an eye on them. Because she was. Just because they had tried anything yet doesn’t mean the thought hadn’t entered their heads. And with Evangelia being booked on the card herself, Trish had to be ready for everything.

Trish Stratus: I don’t think either of them are that stupid, especially Evangelia. But if they were to decide to try and help him win, Mark will forfeit the match automatically and any chance of getting another. Mark’s main goal in life might be to defeat me for the title but I don’t think he’s near that stupid to risk screwing himself out of the shot. Not with as wet as that title makes him.

Deacon Havok: I hope you’re right.

Trish Stratus: Don’t worry I am. This is Mark we’re talking about here, I know the man like a book. Okay more like pamphlet but you get the idea. He’s not all that hard to figure out, especially when he thinks he has an easy shot. He’d do anything to get it even if it means doing something on his own for once. So don’t worry I’ll be fine. (She looks up to see the limo pulling into the parking lot of the hotel she was staying in) Hey listen, I’m pulling into the hotel now so once Eric gets parked I’ll be up there within a few minutes. Okay?

Deacon Havok: No problem, I’ll be here waiting for you. I love you.

Trish Stratus( She smiles) I love you too.

After the two say their goodbyes she flips her phone closed and places it back in the pocket of her jacket just as the limo pulls into the parking lot. Eric coasts up to the front of the building coming to a stop in front of the doors. After killing the engine he gets out and walks around to the back, opening the left rear door. Trish slides out thanking the driver for his help. She make their way up to the hotel, disappearing inside as the scene fades.

It’s been a few days since Trish took part in a live webcast for the WGEF fans on the company’s official website, now it was time for her to fly to New York for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel. In just twenty four hours she would be defending her Intercontinental Title against her recent rival, Mark Stone. For Trish it was a chance to prove to everyone that Mark wasn’t as devastating as his reputation perceived him to be. To do that, she needed to beat him. Which won’t be the hardest thing in the world to achieve. Mark believes that he is the biggest and baddest competitor in this company and that no one except maybe Candice or Evangelia compares to him, which was a joke in itself. Trish had competed against Candice when she first signed with the company and beaten her with ease. Evangelia she hadn’t so far, but given the opportunity she knew she could beat her. The only person that Trish knew would be a struggle for her to beat was her boyfriend Deacon Havok. The two had spent quite a deal of time in a ring squaring off against each other giving the other some much needed practice. As hard as it was to compete with him she knew it would only benefit her when she faced Mark Stone. With Deacon her side it gave her more confidence that she could pull out the win. Over the course of her career Trish had been in the ring with Kurt Angle, Candice Michelle and Chris Orton and walked out the winner. It amazed Trish the few times that someone had beaten her. There are only a few people that can say that, one of them being Kat Sanders. Of course there’s more but at the moment Kat is the only one coming to her mind. Trish was bound and determined that Mark was not going to be adding his name alongside Kat’s, not if she had anything to say about it. Up until now Trish had been so busy that she hadn’t even stopped by the arena to see how things were going. We move down to the parking garage where a black stretch limo pulls into the parking garage pulling all the way around and coming to a stop in front of the doors. The limo’s engine turns off as the driver’s door opens and stepping out of the limo the driver pulls his hat back on his head and begins to walk around to the back of the limo. As he circles around he comes to the back side passenger door and opens the door. As he does a diva with high heels, a pair of denim jeans, gets out and stands up. Her shirt can not be seen underneath the black leather jacket she is wearing, with her long blonde hair hanging loosely down her back coming to a stop just above her shoulders. It’s none other than Trish Stratus. She has a smile on her face and her purse over her shoulder. She smiles at the driver as he than smiles back at her. The driver than closes the door behind Trish and walks over to the trunk of the limo using the key to open it up. He then pulls out a big suitcase and as he does this he than closes the trunk. He pulls out the handle to the suitcase and rolls it over to Trish who gladly takes it from him. She tells him that it will be a couple of hours before she turns and she should have Deacon with her this evening to take them to the hotel and the driver agrees in a way to acknowledge the fact he knows what Trish is saying. Trish smiles and nods to him as she takes her suitcase and pulls it behind her. As she does she begins to walk in towards the arena. She pulls open one of the door and heads into the arena.  As she walks though the halls of the arena she imagines this being the last time she’ll have to concern herself with Mark Stone. When she walks into Tuesday Night Raw, a couple of nights after Wrestlemania 3 she’ll still be the Intercontinental Champion. The thought brings a smile to her face almost as much as the visions of her getting the pinfall over Mark does. That brought the biggest smile ever. As Trish heads down the hallway past everyone in the hallway they are giving her the dirtiest looks. Trish is not well liked in this company and that’s a well known fact that she is liked far less that Mark but at the same time everyone in this company wishes that she were their best friend. From Jamie Austin down to her ex husband Chris Jericho and even John Morrison who always seems to be popping up in Trish’s office all the time trying to get on her good side. So what if everyone in the company hates her, she wasn’t there to make friends. She had Deacon and a few others as friends and that was all she needed. She continues to walk through the halls as she finally reaches the locker room that says her and Deacon’s name. She smiles as she reaches for the handle on the door and pushes it open. Walking into the locker room, she sees that Deacon has his stuff here but he is no where to be found. She figures that he is probably out and about taking care of his pay per view promos that he has to get out of the way before his match. Trish nods as she walks around her locker room and sees a dozen roses in a vase. She smiles and walks over smelling it and smiles. They smell amazing and it just makes her giggle to herself. She takes the note off of the wire thing hanging up and they are to her from her boyfriend which makes her smile and be even more happy that she could have been at that moment knowing that he is hers and that they are forever going to be together. She picks up one of the thornless roses and lifts it up looking at it. The velvety red petals were truly gorgeous. Her eyes drifted down to the thorns spread all over the stem. They were small but sharp. The slightest slip across them could be quite painful, just like messing with the wrong person. Which is exactly what Mark Stone had done when he came after Trish and the Intercontinental Title. Mark had ran his mouth long enough finally pushing Trish to her limits. Now she was going to take him into the ring and just like the thorns on the rose she was holding she was going to prick him till he bled. That was her plan. Laughing to herself Trish runs the rose over her lips and smells its sweet smell and smiles. She puts her rose back into the vase knowing that because of the sweet gesture  by Deacon tonight for the two is going to be a very long night. Walking over to her bag than she lifts it up off the ground and puts it onto the sofa as she unzips the bag and pulls out a different pair of jeans and a new tank top as she walks into the bathroom and about seven minutes later comes out in a brand new outfit. She smiles as she looks at herself in a full length mirror. She straightens out her outfit and smiles as she walks back over to the couch with her boots she had just taken off in her hand and sits down as she starts to lace them up and put them back up. All she can think about is the interview she has to go and give Todd in just a few minutes. She just slightly rolls her eyes knowing that Todd might as well just be the male version of mirror just maybe slightly smarter but not by much. She chuckles at that as she finishes up lacing her boots. She knows that may of the questions are going to be involved in deep with her match with Mark Stone. Much more serious than the questions that she had to answer at the live web chat. Rolling her eyes she slowly stands up and closes her eyes as she takes a deep breathe. Just as she does, there is a knock at the door. Trish raises en eyebrow without opening her eyes and yells come in as she slowly opens her eyes. As the door opens another women figure walks into the room as Trish rolls her eyes as the figure shows up in front of her to be none other than Chris Orton. Chris came in a strut of his own and Trish slowly folds her arms across her chest.  Trish has a very curious look on her face wondering what the hell Chris is doing here in her locker room.

Trish Stratus: Ah, the great Chris Orton. How lucky am I to have you of all people in my locker room. Let me guess you came here to tell me once again how you’re going to beat Deacon and get the WGEF Championship. What’s the reason this time Chris? My ex husband is going to help you?

Chris Orton: You really need to get your panties out of a wad there Trish. I didn’t come to tell you how I’m going to beat your boyfriend for the one thing he wants most in the world other than, well, you. I came here to talk to you about your own match. Against Mark Stone right?  (She nods) Yea, I thought so. I caught your chat on the site the other day and I must say it was highly commendable.

Trish Stratus: Well I am so glad that it met your high standards Chris, it was my goal the whole time. As you can see I’m extremely busy so if you would kindly get the hell out of my office it would be appreciated.

Chris Orton: You’re breaking my heart you know that? Here I came down here to wish you luck and applaud you on your chat and you throw me out? I am truly hurt.

Trish Stratus: I’m sure you are. Look Chris, I really don’t have the time to stand here and listen why you think I’m going to lose tomorrow night. I really could care less. So if that’s your sole reason for coming down here save yourself the time cause I’m not listening.

Chris Orton: You underestimate me. I had no intentions of telling you that I think you’re going to lose. Unlike thousands of people all over the world I actually believe you’re going to win. Not because you’re so much better than Mark Stone but because I truly feel in my heart that tomorrow is your lucky night.

Trish Stratus: My lucky night huh? Just when I think I’ve heard everything there is to say when it comes to this match then you walk in and out comes something entirely new. This one, however, takes the cake. So tell me, exactly how is it going to be my lucky night? I’m just dying to hear this.

Before Chris starts to answer, Trish makes her way around the desk pulling out her chair just far enough for her to step in front of it. Holding on to the arm she lowers her small frame into the chair keeping her eyes locked straight ahead on Chris. She raised her arms from the arms of the chair folding them in front of her pressing them against her chest.

Chris Orton: Face it Trish, you got lucky at Armageddon when you beat Kurt Angle. If it wouldn’t have been for you managing to break out of the Ankle Lock you’d never would have gotten the title. As tough as Kurt was you know Mark’s going to be worse. He’s much younger and quite frankly a better athlete. (Trish starts to object but Chris cuts her off) Hold on, I’m not done yet. You see, as good as Mark is I know that you’re going to be able to wiggle your way out of whatever he puts you in. I have faith in you.

Trish Stratus: So I’m going to retain my title by getting a lucky break, you have no idea how thrilled that makes me. Here I thought I was going to have to bust my ass to beat him but now thanks to you I know I don’t have to. All I have to do is get out of whatever Mark puts me in at the right time and I’m all set.

Chris Orton: Oh come on Trish the only person besides you that thinks you can stand a chance at beating Mark by skill is Deacon. Everyone else knows the truth. Mark Stone is just to much for you to handle. I’ve seen what the guy do Trishy and trust me it’s not going to be pretty for you by a long shot. As much as you don’t want to admit you know its true.

Trish Stratus: You really are funny you know that? Here you come in here and tell me how you believe that I’m going to beat Mark Stone then you tell me that Mark’s better than me. You really need to make up your mind as to what you think and just stick with it for once. It would make it a lot easier on everyone to figure out just what in the hell you’re saying. It’s getting really old hearing how great Mark is. The man has a reputation of destroying people in other federations but here he has done absolutely nothing. Hell he had the United States for two months and never defended it once.

Chris Orton: Okay I’ll give you that one but you’ve got to admit that you haven’t done all that much yourself. You’ve defended the title once in two months yet you walk around here acting like you have. And the guy you defended it against sucked. You gave him a free shot yet Mark had to earn his. What’s a matter Trish, afraid that he’s actually going to take your title?

Trish Stratus: No I don’t think he’s going to take my title simply because he hasn’t felt the need to do one single bit of promotion of any kind. All he’s managed to do is take another one of his vacations to go back down to hick country to get see his mommy and daddy so they can give him the confidence that he’s going to be able to beat me. I hate to rain on his parade but no matter how much they tell him that he’s the best wrestler to ever step inside a wrestling ring it’s not going to do him a bit of good. I’m not Triple H. I’m not going to going to lay down and let him get the easy win.

Chris Orton: I hope you’re right Trish, I really do. I would just hate to see you broken hearted if Mark were to prove you wrong and take that title from you. Just the thought of you and Deacon both being title less is truly horrendous. But hey I can see you’re a busy woman so I won’t keep you any longer. Don’t bother getting up, I’ll show myself out.

Without so much as a word Chris gets up and makes his way across the room to the door. Gripping the door knob in his hand he twists it slightly to the right before pulling it towards him. He turned around and gave Trish one final smart assed grin before stepping out into the hallway closing the door behind him. Trish reaches over to the edge of her desk grabbing a book and hurling it in the direction of the door. As she does the door swings open and Trish’s boyfriend Deacon Havok spears on the other side. Seeing the book quickly flying at him, he ducks watching the book fly out into the hallway. He looks up to make sure she isn’t going to throw anything else before rising to his feet. He makes his way across the room to Trish’s desk. Deacon walks around behind Trish, giving her a kiss on the top of the head.

Deacon Havok: What’s a matter babe, are you having a bad day?

Trish Stratus: It was fine until the world’s biggest butcher of the English language came in here.

Deacon Havok: What on earth did Chris Orton want? To give you more grief most likely.

Trish Stratus: How on earth did you know? Were you standing on the other side of that door the whole time listening to it?

Deacon Havok: Unfortunately I wasn’t or I would’ve done something about it. Judging by that sour look on your face and the fact that you threw a book across the room I take it what he had to say wasn’t a good thing.

Trish Stratus: Oh, you have no idea. First he tells me that he actually believes that I have a chance to beat Mark Stone tomorrow night then he proceeds to tell me that the only way I can do that is if I get a lucky break like what I apparently did with Kurt. You aren’t going to believe this but when it comes to actual wrestling I don’t have a chance at beating him. Isn’t that nice?

Deacon Havok: First of all you should know better than to believe anything that comes from Chris Orton’s mouth. The man is more full of shit than anyone else in the entire company. All he’s trying to do is get you frustrated so you blow your chance at retaining your title. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mark Stone didn’t send him in here to get under your skin so he can have a little easier time.

Trish Stratus: Between those two nothing would surprise me at all. Mark has done nothing but go home to mommy and daddy looking for someone to boost his confidence. That tells me that even he doesn’t think that he’s going to be able to win. It took long enough but he finally wised up and realized that he’s in way over his head. Right now he’s probably caught on to the fact that he should’ve kept the United States Title and saved himself the embarrassment of losing to a girl.

Deacon Havok: You really are sadistic today aren’t you? If Mark hasn’t already realized that he has no hope of winning one look at you right now will tell him. Heck if it doesn’t just throw something at him and knock some sense into him. He could certainly use it.

Trish Stratus: As much as he could use it, it wouldn’t help him. The man thinks he’s the greatest gift to wrestling even if I hit him square in the head with something it wouldn’t knock sense into him. A swift kick in the ass wouldn’t even help. The only thing that’s going to get it through to him is when the final bell rings and I’m standing over him with my hand raised high in the air and the Intercontinental Title in the other.

Deacon Havok: This is Mark Stone we’re talking about here. Even that isn’t going to get through to him. The second that you beat him and hold your title in the air in victory he’s going to be crying that you cheated somehow just so he can get another shot.

Trish Stratus: I have no doubts about that at all. Once he sees that he failed to get the job done he’ll be looking for anything that he thinks will help him. He’d bring in rejects from the crowd if he thought it would do him any good.

Deacon Havok: I’d be careful not to give him any ideas. The last thing you need is for Mark to get some idea on how to screw you over.

Trish Stratus: Believe me I know but I can’t exactly sit here and say nothing can I? If Mark’s that desperate for a way to win that he’d stand outside my office door in hopes that I’ll give him one that’s his problem not mine. I on the other hand have much better things to do with my time.

Deacon Havok: Who knows maybe mommy and daddy gave him some. Lord know he could use all the help he can get.

Trish Stratus: And you call me sadistic !  That was darn right horrible. (She laughs) I don’t even want to know where that one came from.

Deacon Havok: What? You know you were thinking it too. Come on and admit it.

Trish Stratus: No way buddy, I’m not incriminating myself in any way. I don’t want to imagine him at home with his mom and dad in the living room with his mom and dad seated on either side him giving him tips on how to beat me. Although it may be quite funny something tells me its best that I just leave that image alone.

Deacon Havok: Oh I don’t know. A good laugh might be the best thing and after as much hell as he has put you through in the last month you could certainly use the laugh.

Trish Stratus: You’re probably right but I’m going to save that for my victory ceremony. The second that I sit back and laugh is about the time Mark will finally show his face and spill out his latest load of insults. This time I will probably have had the baby, you and I will be married and on our way to divorce court.

Deacon Havok: We’re getting married, divorced and having a baby are we? Wow, I wish I had known I could have taken some time off or something so we could have a proper honey moon or even done something to help you with the baby.

Trish Stratus: You and me both babe. I honestly don’t know where the man gets that stuff, all I can say is he has one hell of an overactive imagination.

Deacon Havok: You ever given thought to that he’s a few fries short of a happy meal?

Trish raises an eyebrow in curiosity, trying her hardest not to laugh.

Trish Stratus: It’s definitely up there believe me. There’s definitely something wrong with him that’s for sure.

Before Trish can say another word there’s a knock at her door. She lets out a sigh of frustration before calling out for whoever’s knocking to come in. The door slowly swings open and WGEF Interview Todd Grisham sticks his head inside.

Todd Grisham: Excuse me Trish but I was hoping that I could get a quick interview with you about your match tomorrow night against Mark Stone?

Trish rolls her eyes in disgust as she motions for him to come in. Not wanting to be a part of it Deacon gives her another kiss on the head and makes his way across the room disappearing into the hallway. As the door closes behind him Trish turns her attention back to Todd, who had taken the liberty of taking a seat in one of the chairs in front of her desk. As usual he had a cameraman right there with him. Trish pulled herself off the back of her chair up to her desk. She rested her elbows on the edge of the desk as she gave Todd a look that simply told him to get started. Not wasting any time Todd motioned for the cameraman to get ready. He gave Todd a nod as he took his camera to the side of the desk quickly setting it up. Once he was ready he gave Todd the all clear signal. Todd turned his attention back towards Trish.

Todd Grisham: Ladies and Gentlemen I’m standing here with WGEF Co- Owner and Raw General Manager Trish Stratus, who tomorrow night will be defending her Intercontinental Title against Mark Stone. (Todd turns towards Trish) Trish my first question is this, ever since Mark returned to the company over a month ago he’s quickly become a thorn in your side. What’s wandering through your mind as you prepare for this match?

Trish Stratus: What’s going through my mind? Wow Todd, I didn’t expect you to come you to come up with such an intelligent question on your first try. Kudos. Now to answer your question, what’s been going through my mind is the importance of the match itself. On one hand I have one of the toughest competitors that I’ve ever had to step into the ring with and on the other my Intercontinental Title is on the line. No matter how you look at it, it’s going to be a difficult night for me.

Todd Grisham: With Mark Stone being one of the toughest opponents you’ve ever had to face, you’re going to have to put on your best effort in order to retain your title.  Have you given any thought to you might be able to get the job done?

Trish Stratus: That didn’t last long did it? Actually Todd, I have given some thought to that . Not because I believe there is a chance that I’m actually going to lose but because it’s a natural part of life. If I go into this match with the idea that I’m going to win no matter what there’s a good chance that I’m going to make a very costly mistake at the right moment and give Mark the easy win. As hard as I fought to beat Kurt I’m not going to run the risk of making a mistake.

Todd Grisham: Mark Stone has not been seen around a WGEF arena since your last altercation a couple of weeks ago. Surely that’s got to concern you a little as to what he could have in store for you tomorrow night. Have you got any ideas?

Trish Stratus: Actually Todd, I don’t and quite frankly I don’t care. All I care about is that he shows up tomorrow night. What he does in the mean time is his business. He can practice modeling the Intercontinental Title in front of a full length mirror in his bedroom for all I care. He could even be sitting in the living room of his parents house telling them exactly what he wants to do to me and I still wouldn’t care and you know why Todd?

Todd Grisham: No, I ?

Trish Stratus: Because it’s nothing but talk.

Todd Grisham: Well its been said that when Mark Stone wins a match he doesn’t pin his opponents he destroys them. With never facing anyone with that type of background in your career that’s got to be weighing on your mind. I know he hasn’t shown signs of doing anything of that magnitude since he’s been here but doesn’t that worry you that you could be the first one to experience it?

Trish Stratus: No Todd it doesn’t. You see I’m not one of the many pussies we have around here who’s afraid of a little pain. If the rumors are true and Mark Stone is actually capable of inflicting that sort of pain on someone well, that’s a chance that I’m just going to have to take.

Todd Grisham: I’m sure you’ve been asked this question a million times already but as I’ve said earlier Mark Stone is not going to be an easy man to beat. It’s going to require you to be at the top of your game and to do that you’re going to have to prepare yourself as best as you can. Can you tell us how you’ve prepared yourself?

Trish Stratus: Not that its any of your business but since I won’t get you off my back otherwise I don’t have much choice but to answer, do I? I’ve spent as much time as I can at the gym making sure my body is in the best psychical shape that it can possibly be in. And before you ask, I’ve been in the ring with Deacon so as you can see Todd I’m fully prepared to take whatever Mark has to offer me.

Todd Grisham: That’s all the questions I have, but before I go is there any last words you have for Mark Stone?

Trish Stratus: Several things come to mind Todd but none that can be aired on live TV unfortunately. A shame I know but we do have censors. However, I will give you something to at least make you feel special. Mark, I know you’re at home with mommy and daddy watching every word I say thinking that you’ve got this in the bag already. Keep in mind that I’m not Candice or Evangelia, I’m going to lay down for you and make it easy. Unfortunately for you, you’re going to have to work for this one. If I were you I’d spend what little time you have left in the gym you’re certainly going to need it.

She gave Todd a look that simply said that she was done. Todd moved the microphone back towards him finishing off the interview by reminding everyone to tune into Wrestlemania 3 the following night. After he was done the cameraman gave him the all clear signal. Todd rose from his seat thanking Trish for the interview. She gave him a simple nod as she slumped back in her chair as the scene faded.

OCC: Okies I had started this last night after I finished number 2 and luckily for me I was able to get it finished in time.

The scene opens inside a hotel suite somewhere in New York City, A long the far wall is a king sized bed is one single body lying in the middle of the bed under a thin white blanket. The camera moves to the far side of the room coming to a stop on an alarm clock sitting on the nightstand beside the bed. The camera focuses on the big red numbers seeing that it’s 6:59. As the time changes to 7:00 a slight buzzing sound fills the room causing the occupant to stir underneath the covers. Finally a hand sticks out from underneath the covers slowly moving over to the alarm clock. The hand pauses over the alarm for a few seconds before lowering down onto the alarm clock pressing the power button. After a few seconds the buzzing sound disappears filling the room with silence again. The hand slowly creeps back towards the bed disappearing under the covers. A few minutes pass and the buzzing sound fills the room once again. The occupant lets out an irritated groan as they once again stick their hand out from underneath the covers and over to the alarm clock, this time pressing the alarm off button. As the alarm goes quiet for a second time the blanket flings back. A few moments pass and the occupant starts to stir eventually pulling themselves up to a sitting position, dangling their legs over the side of the bed. As the occupant slides off the bed the camera slowly pans upward revealing the occupant to be WGEF Co-Owner Trish Stratus. Trish wiped the sleep out of her eyes before making her way around the bed to her suitcase. She knelt down in front of the large bag unzipping the large middle section. She reaches inside pulling out a pair of faded blue jeans and her Stratusfaction T-shirt. She reaches back inside pulling out a black lacey bra and matching tong. She zips the bag back closed and stands back up. She carries the clothes into the bathroom with her. Laying the clothes on the edge of the sink she makes her way over to the shower. She pulls the shower curtain back and sticks her hand inside twisting the knobs. After making sure the water was just right she pulled the curtain back closed and got undressed. She pulled the shower curtain back closed stepping under the steaming hot water. She closed her head back closing her eyes as the water coursed over her body. About a half an hour later the sound of running water faded eventually coming to a stop. Moments later Trish sticks her hand out towards the towel rack grabbing a towel and pulling it back inside. The shower curtain pulls back and Trish steps out covered in the towel. She headed over to the sink wiping off her body once more before dropping the towel on the floor and putting on the clothes she brought in with her. After getting dressed she stepped out into the main room, making her way across the room to her suitcase. She unzipped the front pouch pulling out her brush. She rises back to her feet taking a seat on the end of the bed as she quickly takes the brush through her golden blonde hair. Just as she takes the first swipe her cell phone starts to ring. She tosses the brush onto the bed and crawls the bed to the nightstand. She picks up her phone glancing at the caller id screen. Seeing her assistant Karen’s name on the screen she flips the phone open.

Trish Stratus: Hey Karen, I was just about to call you. Is everything all set for my appearance on TRL later on?

Karen: Yea, I called MTV yesterday afternoon and got everything all set up. They’re expecting you at the studio around 10 then they’ll show you to the locker room, which they assure me, is supplied with everything that you require.

Trish Stratus: It’s the least they can do after I’m being generous enough to take time out of my busy promotion schedule to appear on their little show.

Karen: You’re going to talk about your match at Wrestlemania 3 aren’t you?

Trish Stratus: Of course. I’m sure I’ll be getting question after question about my history with Mark and so on.

Karen: Speaking of that, the guy isn’t exactly the safest person to be in the ring with. Are you sure it’s a good idea taking on someone like that?
Trish Stratus : If I didn’t know better Karen I’d swear you were doubting me.

Karen: On the contrary I’m just trying to prepare you for the questions you’ll be getting later.

Trish Stratus: Don’t get me wrong Karen I appreciate the help but I don’t think they’ll be concerned with whether Mark’s safe for me to be in a ring with. Surely they’ve received the stuff you’ve sent them with my history with him and with that I’m sure they’ll be able to come up with something at least relatively decent. Anyway the most they can do is ask me the same stupid questions that seem to be on everyone else’s mind. My only problem is coming up with a different  answer. (She sighs) That alone is going to prove to be as much work as wrestling Mark is.

Karen: Well you’ve certainly got your work cut out for you in this one.

Trish Stratus: Please! He may be this supposed “dangerous?guy but it’s nothing that I can’t handle. I’ve been in the ring with all sorts of people so whatever he throws at me I’ll be able to take just fine. Do yourself a favor and quit worrying, okay?

Karen: So I guess that Deacon’s well aware of this guy and isn’t at all worried?

Trish Stratus: He’s got his own problems to worry about and besides he’s aware that I can take care of myself. If I was able to do it against Kurt Angle I can do it against Mark Stone too.

Karen: Well I hope you’re right, I don’t want to see you get seriously hurt just to keep that title. It isn’t worth it.

Trish Stratus: Maybe not to you but I beg to differ, As hard as I worked to get it in the first place I’m going to do everything I can to keep it…even if it means getting injured.

Karen: Considering how bull headed you are I have no doubts on it. I just hope that you’ve at least had the common sense to sit down and review those tapes I left you so you’ve got a fresh idea of what you’re up against.

Trish Stratus: Relax I watched the tapes. My god you sound more like my mother than my assistant. After the run ins I had with him in the hallway I know what to expect from him already. Granted it’s been awhile since I’ve had the pleasure but it’s just learning to ride a bike again, once you get another chance it all comes back to you within a few minutes. Besides Mark Stone isn’t as complex as he’s made himself out to be.

Karen: For your sake you had better be right. I don’t even want to imagine the mood you’ll be in if you’d lose. If its anything like it was with Maria it’s not going to be a pretty sight.

Trish Stratus: Relax it won’t be happening this time. I’m not going to say I won’t be pissed but  it won’t be near as bad as it was after Maria. That one I screwed up on major, this time I can assure you it won’t be happening. There’s to much at stake for me to leave myself open for a screw up like that.

As Trish finishes her sentence she catches the time on the alarm clock out of the corner of her eye. Her eyes widen as she sees the time being 8:00. Knowing that her limo would be pulling out front any minute she quickly slides off the bed. She grabs her purse from beside her suitcase and makes her way across the room.

Trish Stratus: Listen Karen, the limo will be here shortly so I’m going to be heading out. I’ll catch you later.

Karen offers her a quick goodbye before hanging up the phone. Hearing the dial tone Trish tosses her phone into her purse just as she reaches the elevator. She presses the button and seconds later the doors open. She steps inside and presses the button for the lobby. As the door close behind her she leans against the back wall trying to brace herself for the ridiculous questions she would indeed be getting later. No doubt the same type she would usually get from Todd Grisham or whichever one of them she drew. What could she do about it? Refuse the request. While that would make her life easier it didn’t help the business any. She let out a sigh as the doors to the elevator finally opened. She stepped into the lobby where she was greeted by a huger throng of fans who had felt the need to gather in the lobby. Rolling her eyes she started to make her way through the lobby pausing long to ask the desk clerk if her limo had arrived. After learning that it had she went to take another step when she was stopped by a young girl, who reminded her of Crystal and what appeared to be her mother.

Woman: Excuse me Trish but my daughter is a big fan of yours and was hoping to get your autograph.

Trish Stratus : (in a friendly tone) Well I suppose I can arrange that for someone who looks a lot like my own daughter.
The girl’s mother reaches into a large bag pulling out a copy of WGEF magazine with Trish’s picture on the cover. She fishes back inside this time pulling out a sharpie marker. She hands them both over to Trish who kneels down in front of the little girl.

Trish Stratus: What’s your name sweetie?

Girl: Erin.

Trish gave the girl a smile before turning her attention over to the magazine. She pulled the cap off the end quickly inscribing a positive message off to the side of her picture then signing her name underneath. She handed the magazine back to the girl who had a huge smile on her face as she stared at what Trish had written.

Girl: I hope you beat Mark Stone, he’s mean.

Trish Stratus : Yes he is , that’s why I’m going to teach him a lesson.

Girl: My mommy puts me in the corner when I say mean things like he did, you should do that.

Trish can’t help but let out a small giggle at the girl’s comment.

Trish Stratus: I would but I don’t think that would help them. I think they need something more to show them what happens to bad people. In fact it might be too bad for you to see.

Girl: Really?

Trish Stratus: I’m going to have to beat him up.

Girl: You going to put them in the hoppypital?

Trish Stratus: I might have to.

Feeling someone staring at her Trish looks up to see the limo driver standing behind the little girl’s mother with hands locked together. She motions for him to wait a minute then turns her attention back to the little girl.

Trish Stratus: Listen sweetie I have to go with that man over there to go talk to some people on tv

The little girl nods as Trish rises to her feet. She shakes the girl by the hand before walking towards the limo driver. He leads her the short distance through the lobby and out the main doors to the limo he parked up front. He opened the door waiting for Trish to get in. Once she was inside he shut the door and walked around to the front. He climbed in and fired up the engine. As the car pulled out of the parking lot Trish pulled out her phone once again calling the number of her assistant Karen. She tapped her fingers lightly on the arm rest as she waited for Karen to answer the phone. A couple of minutes later Karen’s voice comes through.

Karen: I thought you were on your way to the studio, what happened?

Trish Stratus: Nothing happened. I just got stopped in the lobby by a little girl and her mother which put me a little behind. Anyways I was wondering has Mark gotten off his ass and  made any kind of promo yet?

Karen: Not yet he hasn’t.

Trish Stratus : You’re kidding, the match is taking place in less than twenty four hours and he hasn’t bother to  bothered to do so much as opened their mouth? That’s surprising. Perhaps Sunday night will go much easier for me than I thought.

Karen: Now you know better than to think a thing like that especially when you’ve suffered losses to both of them in the past. Trish you’re one of the best that company has but that’s going to disappear real quick if you go getting to cocky.

Trish Stratus: I know, I know. What else can I do though when neither of them has so much as said a word in two days? You know me I can’t just sit around and wait for him to think of something cute to say. After all this is Mark Stone we’re talking about here. He’s not going to miss the opportunity to spread some half brained crap about me here, there and everywhere that I get the pleasure of setting straight later on.

Karen: Not to sound critical but have you given any thought as to he’s doing this to psyche you out?

Trish Stratus: That depends on if he’s managed to get his two brain cells to rub together to get the thought started yet. If you ask me though I highly doubt it. I just think he’s trying to stay low key so I think he’s not going to show till the last minute.

Karen: That’s just it, he wants you to be so focused on waiting for him to say something that you don’t put as much of your energy into your offense as you need to. As much as he’s pissed with you lately he’s got to know that gets under your skin.

Trish Stratus: Perhaps, but I can’t help it. Every time I hear bullshit I can’t help but feel the need to correct it.

Karen: Yes well if you do that this time around that’s all you’re going to be doing. Once he finally decides to get started you’re going to be nothing but correcting what they say. What you need to be doing is getting you a game plan set up if you want any chance against him.

Trish Stratus: Don’t worry I’ve got everything all planned out as far as the match itself goes but if you could give a heads up on anything else I’d appreciate it.

Karen: Anything in particular?

Trish Stratus: Any promos that he does, if he does any.

Karen: Okay I’ll have them in your office when you get here.

Trish Stratus: Call me naïve but I don’t think this match is going to be as bad as everyone’s making it out to be.

Karen: How so?

Trish Stratus Jericho: Besides the fact that the guy drives me completely insane you mean? Yea I know what I’m going into here.

Karen: Oh she probably does.

Trish Stratus: Seriously what’s the worst he can do? Put me in the hospital for a few days? I’ve been there before. People are getting too wrapped up on the man’s reputation without proof he’s actually capable of it. Maybe he is and maybe he isn’t but there’s no point in worrying about it. What’s going to happen is going to happen.

Trish looks ahead and sees the limo pulling into the MTV Studios parking lot.

Trish Stratus: Okay we’re pulling into the studio now so I’m going to be going and try and get myself at least semi interested in this tv thing.

Karen: Enjoy.

Trish let out a small giggle as she said her and Karen said their goodbyes. She flipped her phone closed tossing it back into her purse just as the limo pulls into the parking lot. The limo drives around to the back of the building coming to a stop in front of a typical steel door. As the limo comes to a stop the driver kills the engine. He gets out and walks around to the back opening the door for Trish to get out. Trish steps out making her way up to the building where she’s greeted by a security guard. She gives him her name and he pulls the door open for her. As she walks inside she’s greeted by a small red haired girl dressed in khaki pants and a pink t-shirt with MTV’s logo at the top. She introduces herself as Tina and leads Trish down a long hallway to an elevator. After they’re both inside  the elevator Tina presses the second floor button. Moments later they reach the second floor and the doors pop open. Tina leads Trish down another lengthy hallway to a small dressing room. Trish heads over to a small table grabbing a bottle of water and taking it over to the couch. About twenty minutes later there’s a knock on the door. The door opens and Tina sticks her head inside. Trish gets up from her seat on the couch following Tina down a long hallway, as they head down the hall she can hear “Wall to Wall?by Chris Brown blaring from the studio. She’s lead to a blue curtain where Tina tells her to wait for her cue. As Tina walks away the video comes to an end and Damien Fahey’s voice fills the studio.

Damien: Up next we have one of the owners of the World’s Greatest E-Federation, please welcome Trish Stratus!

Trish steps through the curtain to some pre-recorded music with a fake smile plastered on her face. She steps onto a small stage where she is handed a microphone by Damien. After a few minutes the crowd starts to quiet down filling the studio with silence.

Damien: Welcome Trish. I understand that you’re one of the owners of the company is that right?

Trish Stratus: Yes Damien that’s right.

Damien: Tell us, is that much different from being a regular wrestler?

Trish Stratus: Not for the most part. There’s just the added tasks that come with running the company on top of being an active competitor.

Damien: Later on tonight you’re going to defend your Intercontinental Title against a relative newcomer to the WGEF, Mark Stone, how much different is it facing someone so new?

Trish Stratus: It’s not any different than facing someone that’s been in the company for years for the most part. Mark’s actually been with the company for a few months now so he’s actually not that new.

Damien: I see here that you two have had somewhat of an ongoing feud for the past month, Can you tell us what sparked it?

Trish Stratus: It’s nothing out of the ordinary. Mark returned from a two week hiatus wanting a shot at the Intercontinental Title. Since there was already someone wanting a shot I put them in a match against each other with the winner getting the shot. To make a long story short Mark won the match and wanted his shot at Wrestlemania 3.

Damien: Have you given any thought to the possibility that he could beat you?

Trish Stratus: Yes I have. With any match there’s always a chance that you’re going to lose no matter how good or bad your opponent is. The key is to winning is outwitting your opponent.

Damien: From what I see here you and Mark have never faced each other before. Is preparing to face someone new any different than someone you’re used to?

Trish Stratus: No Damien it isn’t. You prepare for each opponent the same by doing things like watching tapes of older matches, watching their current matches from the back?stuff like that. All you have to look for is what type of wrestler they are and figure out how to avoid getting yourself into situations where they have the upper hand.

Damien: You’ve always had the reputation of getting cocky when it comes to your match ups. Are you hoping to avoid that when it comes to this one?

Trish Stratus: I try to do that in every match and as you can tell it doesn’t always work (She laughs). So far I’ve managed to keep my attitude in check and on the match itself instead of what Mark might do and what he might not do.

Damien: Well that’s all the time we have. Thank you Trish for your time.

Trish Stratus: The pleasure was all mine.

Damien: Up next we have John Norris with the news…stay tuned.

As the cameras went to commercial Damien once again thanked Trish for her appearance. She smiled politely in his direction before making her way off the small stage. She made her way through the studio stepping past the blue curtain on her way back to her limo.
