| This is my shot, my one true chance to prove to everyone that my victory at the Royal Rumble wasn’t a fluke that I am just as worthy of an opponent as the bigger name divas are. Not that I expect Summer to give a shit or even pay any attention what so ever. In fact knowing Summer as well as I do, I know exactly what she’s going to say. I’m nothing but a cliché and all I know how to say is that she thinks she better than me�?yada�?yada�?yada. She’ll expect me to once again bring up her win over me. My god that was how long ago? Months if I’m remembering correctly. I could go through why I used it once again, but quite frankly there’s no need. It served its purpose. Of course, Summer will expect me to reply so she can go with the usual calling me childish and putting on the charade that it isn’t bothering her slightest bit. But I know it is. If it wasn’t then why would she feel the need to say anything or even pay attention to what I say? Because she feeds off of it. It makes her feel important…like everyone fears her. Please. If she took one look around she’d see that people groan in annoyance every time she opens her mouth. Not once have I seen anyone run away in fear and I can promise her it won’t be happening with me either. At the Royal Rumble, Deacon got the pleasure of tossing her ass over the top rope but this time that won’t be happening. This time she don’t have Deacon being the one to toss her over the top to make her seem better than me. Once that bell rings and I’m standing over her with MY Women’s Title waving high in the air, she’ll have no choice but to see that she’s no longer the Queen she thinks she is. The scene opened just outside of a local radio station in Los Angeles, California and as it does we see a white stretch limo pull into the parking lot. As it did the large crowd that had gathered outside crammed around the windows trying to see who was inside. Serenity rolled her eyes muttering something under her breath as they pressed against the glass. The limo crept through the crowd finally coming to a stop just in front of the rear entrance. The driver’s door opened and a middle aged man dressed in a plain black suit with a white dress shirt stepped out. He walked around to the rear door, grabbing the handle and pulling it open. As she steps inside the building she sees a small square reception desk a short ways down the hall. She pauses long enough to adjust her purse on her shoulder before heading towards it. When she reaches the desk she sees the receptionist is on the phone, she leans across the desk trying her best to be patient for her to finish the call. A few moments pass and the receptionist finishes her call. She places the receiver back on the hook before looking at Serenity with an annoyed look on her face.
Receptionist: Is there something I can help you with?
Serenity Chambers: First of all lose the attitude sweetie, I deal with that shit all day and I don’t need to put up with it from you. Now I’m here to do a radio interview with one of your d.j�?s Aaron Matthews.
Receptionist: Your name please.
Serenity Chambers: My name is Serenity Chambers. The receptionist turned her attention away from Serenity grabbing a clipboard from on top of her desk. She lays it down in front of her scrolling down the list of names on the piece of paper attached to it. As she continues to scroll up and down the list of names Trish starts tapping her nails on the desk in an irritated fashion. Finally the receptionist finds her name towards the bottom of the list and lays the clipboard back down on the desk.
Receptionist: Okay, you go down the hallway behind me till you reach the end. There you will find a hallway running horizontally, turn right and go about halfway down. That will be the studio Aaron will be broadcasting from. Just tap on the window and he’ll motion for you to come in when he’s ready.
Serenity flashes her, her usual smart ass grin before pushing her small frame off the desk.
Serenity Chambers: See that wasn’t so hard was it? I guess finding good help isn’t just a problem in the wrestling business.
Before the receptionist could respond Serenity walks past the reception desk making her way down the lengthy hallway following the directions the receptionist gave her. Finally she reached the studio. Sitting in a typical desk chair was a semi young man a little on the heavy side talking into a microphone. Doing as she was instructed Serenity tapped on the window. Aaron looked up at the window seeing her standing outside. He moved over to his switchboard and pressed play. As the song continued to play he motioned for Serenity to come inside. She grabbed the knob on the door twisting it slightly to the right and gently shoving the door inward. Once he inside he motioned for her to have a seat in the chair he had pulled beside him. Serenity nodded in acceptance as she made her way across the rather small room. Taking a seat in the chair next to him she got herself comfortable. Aaron Matthews: I don’t know how familiar you are with this but it’s real simple. I’ll ask you the questions just like you were getting a normal interview and all you have to do is speak directly into the mic in front of you. Basically the same as what you’re used just no tv cameras to deal with. Serenity Chambers: (giggles) This is better already. Aaron Matthews: Okay as soon as this song is finished playing we’ll get started…alright? Serenity Chambers: Sounds fine. Serenity leaned back in her chair listening to the song that was currently playing. She didn’t care for it but pretended to be enjoying herself. She hummed along to it quietly to herself twisting around in her seat. Finally the song was reaching the end and Aaron was at the controls ready to start the interview. Trish turned her chair back around facing Aaron as he flipped the switch turning his mic back on. Aaron Matthews: That was “Run It�?from up and coming sensation Chris Brown. Now joining us in the studio is WGEF Diva Serenity Chambers. Welcome Serenity. Serenity smiles. Serenity Chambers: Thanks Aaron. Aaron Matthews: Okay jumping right into this here, this Tuesday you’ll be competing against Summer Fox for the Women’s Title. From what I see here, Summer is one of your biggest rivals. How do you feel about facing her? Serenity Chambers: Well Aaron I frankly could care less who I face, all I’m there for is the Women’s Title. It just so happens that Summer is the champion, if Kat Sanders had retained the title at the Royal Rumble then I’d facing her with just the same intensity as what I’ll be giving Summer. Aaron Matthews: Back at the Royal Rumble, Summer made a point in saying that you were seeking revenge for her win over you earlier. That she had let it go but you kept bringing up, do you care to comment on that? Serenity Chambers: Revenge, are you serious? (He nods) That is the funniest thing I heard all day. My bringing up the previous match between Summer and myself was in no way seeking out revenge. I brought it up for the same reason she brought up Deacon Havok getting the win over her in the Rumble the year before, to make my intent known. If she wants to consider that revenge, well then I guess it’s her choice now isn’t it? Aaron Matthews: It definitely is. Speaking of Summer, she’s a very tough opponent to face. In fact many other people who have faced her quickly become intimidated to point where they end up losing the match. Does Summer have that effect on you? Serenity Chambers: The only effect Summer has on me is nausea. Other than that she has no effect on me what so ever. You see a lot of the other divas in the company are there just to stand at ringside and look pretty and those are the ones that Summer intimidates. She intimidates them because she can easily beat them. Me�?I’m not that kind. Summer and I have faced each other twice now and I’ve given her a workout both times. Yes the first time she beat me but it was no easy task. Aaron Matthews: Back at the Royal Rumble you and Summer were taking it to each other pretty hard, almost eliminating the other on several occasions until Deacon Havok got in the middle. Any plans of repeating what happened at the Royal Rumble when you two face each other this time? Serenity Chambers: Well Aaron, I’d love to give you an answer but unfortunately Summer can hear and I wouldn’t want her by chance to flip on this station and hear any part of what I plan on doing Sunday night. That, I prefer for her to find out on her own when the time comes. Aaron Matthews: Very well then, as I eluded to earlier Summer is a very tough opponent to beat. In your short history together you’ve each managed to get a win over the other. Do you think you’ll able to pin her and win the Women’s Title? Serenity raises her index finger up to her lips tapping her recently French manicured fingernail against her bottom lip as she pretended to ponder the question. Serenity Chambers: Do I think that I’m going to be able to get past her? My that’s a toughie but as tough as it is I’m going to have to say yes. Why, you ask? Simply because I’ve been in the ring with her twice in the past and I know more than well what to expect from her. Aaron Matthews: Well Serenity I can see here that our time is over so I’d like to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to sit down with me and give us a little insight into your upcoming Women’s Title Match. Good Luck on Sunday. Serenity smiles sweetly. Serenity Chambers: Not that I need it Aaron but thank you. Aaron Matthews: That was Serenity Chambers who will be taking on the Women’s Champion Summer Fox for her title this Sunday at Wrestlemania on pay per view. Be sure to tune in at 9pm eastern to see which one of these lovely ladies walks out the next Women’s Champion. Aaron reached over to his switchboard pressing a button directly in front of him and as a song continued to play through his headset he takes it off his head laying it down on the desk in front of him then turned around towards Serenity. After finishing up her radio interview Serenity made her way back down the hallway. As she reaches the end she turns back down the main hallway coming up behind the reception desk. She can’t help but snicker as she sees the receptionist still sitting at her desk painting her nails. Shaking her head and chuckling to herself she continued down the hallway. When she reached the desk she walked up beside the desk leans across the desk knocking the bottle of bright red nail polish all over the desk. As the receptionist looks up at her in disgust Trish flashes her innocent smile.
Serenity Chambers: You really should keep a better hold on that bottle sweetie it does tend to make a mess when it spills.
Before the receptionist can even mutter out a reply Serenity pushes her small frame off the desk and walks the short distance from the desk to the entry door. As she reaches the door the security guard positioned outside pulled the door open for her. She smiles politely at him thanking him as she breezed through the door. She steps on the sidewalk to see the limo driver standing right beside the left rear door gripping the handle tightly waiting on Serenity to reach him. Finally she reached the end of the sidewalk and the driver pulls the door open watching as Serenity slides inside. Once Serenity is inside he closes the door to the limo and walked around to the front. Opening the front left door he quickly slides into the driver’s seat and fires up the engine. Before he starts to pull out of the parking lot he turns around towards Serenity as the scene fades. |
