What in the hell is going on here? Seriously…I want to know. Because I can honestly tell anyone reading this that I don’t like it one bit. In fact it really pisses me off. If things were going to go down this way it would have been nice to be let in sooner so I could make some other arrangements instead of finding out at the least possible second and have to practically kill myself in order to make this situation even the slightest bit pleasant. Not like there’s any way I possibly can. I have six people I have to try and beat and by myself to boot. Kind of makes you feel like a lamb being tossed in front of a lion that hasn’t eaten in a few days. You just know you’re going to get killed. Looking at it that way doesn’t make it any better for me let me tell ya. In fact it makes it look worse. If that’s actually possible. If I had even the slightest clue that this was going to happen I wouldn’t have accepted this because it’s far from what I wanted to do. Give Chris Michaels one more chance to gloat that he got a victory over me. I hear his mouth run far more than enough and I really could do without giving him another reason. But hey, it’s the situation I was dealt and I have to deal with it. I’ve made up mind that I’m not going to let this bother me and I’m not going to waste my time crying over things that I can’t change. It’s not like it will do me any good anyway. All it does is make me exhausted and make my giving myself a fighting chance that much harder. It’s hard enough already, I don’t need anything to help it along. Sure having help would have been nice but this is one of those times in life that you learn to make it on your own. All I can say is the next time that I even consider doing another tag team match I really hope that someone either slaps some sense into me or I have the wits about me to do it myself. Lord knows I’m going to need it. I take on enough work on my own and I certainly don’t need to take on more than I know I can handle. I haven’t the slightest clue exactly what’s going to come out of this but I can assure anyone that’s reading this that it’s not going to be pretty. In fact it’s going to be far from it.

It was just a little less than a week before WGEF Judgment Day would be airing live from the Amarillo Civic Center in the heart of Amarillo, Texas with a collection of great matches already booked for the event. One of those matches is the Tag Team Title match between the teams of The Rock and SVD, Chris and Courtney Michaels and Trish and Deacon Havok. The scene opens up in Montreal Canada at WGEF Headquarters and as usual Trish was in her office going over the never ending mound of paperwork while her daughter Crystal played on the floor nearby. Trish looked down at her daughter long enough to check on her then turns her attention to back to the stack of papers on her desk. Just as Trish was about to start on another pile the door to her office opened. Trish looked up to see who was coming in without being invited. Seeing that it was her assistant Karen, she quickly turned her attention back to what she was working on. Karen closed the door behind her making her way across the room over to Trish's desk. She reached in her pocket pulling out a small white piece of paper. Trish took the paper out of Karen's hand staring at it for a few seconds, noticing that it was the confirmation from Cold Pizza about her upcoming appearance on the show for the following day. She nodded in acceptance as she handed the paper back to Karen for safe keeping. After she finishes the set she was working on she pushes her chair back, eventually rising to her feet. She bends down picking daughter from the floor as Karen grabs Trish's travel bag. They make their way through the building reaching the company jet. After they were in their seats the jet took off. Trish leaned her head against the seat thinking about her upcoming television appearance. She hated the thought of sitting on a couch pretending to be enjoying herself while answering questions from a man who made Todd Grisham look smart but it was good publicity for the company and that was something she couldn't turn down. After what seemed like a matter of minutes the jet reached the airport in New York. As the jet comes to a stop the pilot comes over the speaker telling them that it's safe to get off. Trish unfastens her seatbelt and Crystal as Karen gets hers. They make their way off the plane to the waiting limo that Karen had ordered. Once they were inside Karen told the driver where they were headed. He nodded in acceptance putting the limo into gear. About twenty minutes later they finally reach the ESPN Studio where Cold Pizza was filmed. They make their way inside; checking in with a tall middle aged man, she soon learned was the show’s talent manager. She was informed that everything was just about ready and that she was being sent to make up right away. Trish handed Crystal over to Karen and followed the semi bald man over to a small makeshift makeup area, much like the ones she was used to seeing everyday. She made her way over to a director's styled chair, making herself comfortable. A few moments pass and she glances over at her watch. Noticing that she had been sitting there for five minutes she wondered where in the hell the makeup artist was. She rested her elbow on the arm and leaned her head against her fist letting out an irritated sigh as a rather annoyed look started to appear on her face. She was scheduled to get her hair and make up done before the press conference and as usual the makeup artist was late. Trish sat in the chair anxiously tapping her recently French manicured nails against the wood handles, glancing up at the clock grumbling to herself with each second that passed. She needed a way to calm herself down before she exploded on the poor woman. She reached into the pocket of her hip hugger jeans pulling out her metallic blue iPOD. Unwinding the headphones from around it she sticks them in her ears.  Holding the player in front of her face she gets to her song list, looking for a song that will lighten her mood. A few seconds later she finds the song she was looking for and lays the player down on her lap. As “What Is It?by Baby Bash starts to play she leans her head against the cool concrete wall, closing her eyes. No sooner had the lyrics started she could feel the stress slowly start to diminish and not a moment to soon. The makeup artist rushed down the hall in Trish’s direction quickly getting in position behind Trish’s chair. Trish pulls her head up and turning around so that her back was facing the back of the chair, giving the makeup artist room to work.  She started with Trish’s hair, quickly getting to her makeup. Within a matter of minutes Trish was done. She slid off the chair to the floor, pausing long enough to give the makeup artist a sarcastic thank you before walking off to where the talent manager was waiting. They made their way down a semi long hallway. Even through the thick concrete walls she could hear the low rumbling coming from the crowd inside. She knew it was good for business but she didn’t care. In her eyes this was just another interview and it was no secret how much she hated interviews. She let out a small groan as she continued down the hall, listening as the rumbling noise started to get louder. Moments later they finally reached the end of the hall coming upon a set of double steel doors. The talent manager grabbed the handle of the door pulling it towards him. He steps inside followed by Trish. He leads her to a plain blue curtain and instructs her that the host, Jay Crawford, would be ready for her in a minute. Trish nods staring at a small TV screen hanging from the ceiling. Jay was doing his usual opener which consisted of going through the top storylines of the day. Trish braced herself against the wall letting out a yawn. She was bored and didn’t care who knew it. Finally after what seemed like hours Jay finishes the headlines and announces they have a guest in the studio. Trish pushes herself off the wall just as Jay calls out her name. Her theme “Time to Rock ‘N?Roll?plays over the p.a. system as Trish makes her way onto the stage. She smiles and waves at all the fans that are cheering for her. Turning her gaze towards Jay she gives him the same type smile as she makes her way across the studio to the set. Jay led her over to an off chair positioned behind the coffee table before taking a seat in the chair to her right. As the music slowly starts to fade and the fans do as well Jay reaches over shaking Trish’s hand.

Jay Crawford: Let me go on the record as saying that you’re such a beautiful woman, way to beautiful to be getting in the ring and wrestle with men. I’ve seen some of the men that are in that business and someone such as yourself could be setting themselves up for serious injury in a match like this.

Trish Stratus: Why Jay?if I didn’t know better I’d think you were hitting on me (She laughs). I do appreciate the compliment; it’s not often that I hear something so nice.

Jay Crawford: Jumping right into this, I know I touched on this earlier but this Sunday you’re going to be competing in a Fatal Fourway match for the Tag Team Titles which is going to be far from an easy match. Being a match made up of mostly men and you being one of the two women in this match. Does that change at all how you look at it?

Trish Stratus: Not at all Jay. Being one of the only two women in this match isn’t even a factor for me. What I’m concerned about is getting the Tag Team Titles and finally bringing some class back to the belts.

Jay Crawford: Looking at my notes here I see there’s some pretty big name teams involved in this. You’ve got The Rock and SVD, Mister Nyman and your ex husband Chris Jericho and of course Chris and Courtney Michaels. No matter what way you look at it you’re going to have your hands full. Is there any team in particular you’re keeping a closer eye on?

Trish Stratus: To be quite honest Jay, there is only one them in there worth keeping an eye on and as much as I hate to say it it’s Chris and Courtney. The rest, to be honest, really don’t belong in this match. Let’s start with SVD and The Rock. You have SVD who quite frankly is in way over his head. The man lost the Television Title on his very first title defense to Justin Black. Doesn’t exactly spell out a tough challenge to me. Then you have The Rock, who should’ve done himself a huge favor and stuck with making his crappy b rated movies. Then we have Chris Jericho and Mister Nyman. The only challenge on that team is Nyman and he isn’t even that much. After being married to Chris, I can assure you he’ll come up short. That leaves us with Chris and Courtney.  Both are quite tough competitors on their own and putting them together makes them almost impossible to beat.

Jay Crawford: Almost impossible? Sounds to me like you doubt that you’ll be able to get passed them.

Trish Stratus: On the contrary Jay. I realize my record against Chris is far from the best but it’s far from the worst either. In the few times we’ve faced each other I’ve managed to get a couple of wins over him. He’s one of the toughest we have to beat but he is beatable. As for Courtney, I’ll admit I have to get a win over her but hey there’s always a first time for everything.

Jay Crawford: Rumor has it that your husband Deacon Havok isn’t going to be able to appear this Sunday and team with you. Surely his not being there is going to put an extra burden on you. Are you going to be able to get the job done alone?

Trish Stratus: To be honest Jay, I haven’t had a chance to talk to Deacon since our honeymoon ended so I really have no idea if he’s going to be able to show or not. Don’t get me wrong if he does appear it will make it quite a bit easier to win but if he doesn’t then well, I have no choice but to go it alone.

Jay Crawford: If you have to go into this match alone it’s going to add a whole degree of difficulty for you, especially with the added degree of facing six other people. Exactly how does one prepare themselves for this?

Trish Stratus: There isn’t an exact way to prepare yourself. If by some chance Deacon isn’t able to be there and I have to go in this alone against six people then it’s pretty much going to be a slaughter on my end. Especially where Chris and Courtney are concerned. Either way Jay, if Deacon doesn’t show it’s definitely not going to be a very good night for me.

Jay Crawford: Well Trish. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to stop by. I want to wish you the best of luck this Sunday. It was my pleasure to have you with us today. (He turns towards the monitor) Remember you can order Judgment Day at nine o’clock eastern time live on pay per view. Trish, thank you again for coming by. Coming up next a more detailed look at the Judgment Day Card?stay tuned.

Trish flicked a stray piece of hair out of her face as she turned around, making her way across it to the small set of stairs she used when she made her way onto the stage an hour or so ago. After stepping off the final stair she headed down a small corridor  to the double steel doors . She gives the doors a hard shove and steps out into the hallway, letting out a loud groan in frustration as she heads down to the waiting area where Karen was waiting with Crystal. She knew she shouldn’t be surprised by those questions for some reason she was. She shook her head trying to erase the idiotic questions from her memory but was very unsuccessful. Oh well, it gave the company some good promotion even if she had to endure a couple hours of complete and utter hell. She shrugged it off and continued down the hall. A few moments later she came upon a single wooden door. She stared at the door for a few seconds looking for the nameplate, Not seeing one she peered into the small window eventually seeing her daughter playing with some blocks on the floor. She pulled the door open and stepped inside. Crystal jumped up from the floor and ran over to her, wrapping her arms around her legs. Trish reached down and gave her a kiss on the forehead as Karen handed her Crystal’s coat. Trish helped her slide it on then picked her up. Once everyone was ready they made their way over to the door, stepping back out into the hallway. Eager to get out of there and onto something more pleasant Trish quickened her pace to the point where Karen had a hard time keeping up with her. Finally they reached the end of the hall and headed towards the entrance doors. Grabbing the handle Trish stepped out into the cold, holding Crystal close to her to keep her warm. The driver opened the door just as Trish reached the limo. She climbed inside sliding over to the far end so Karen could get in, sitting Crystal between them. Just as the limo started to pull out of the parking lot her phone started to ring. She reached into the pocket of her parka pulling out her baby pink RAZR. Flipping the phone open she saw Kaylee’s number come up on the caller id screen. She pressed the accept button, raising the phone up to ear as she started to speak.
Trish Stratus: Hey girl, I take it you got my text message.

Kaylee Adams McKenzie: Of course. Sorry I didn’t call you back sooner girl but I was in the middle of a quick workout session with Mike.

Trish Stratus: Wanting to give Jason a good hard ass kicking are you? Remind me not to get on your bad side.

Kaylee Adams McKenzie: The little prick deserves it after the shit he’s done. He’s made a big deal about me not moving on and having a problem with him screwing Serenity. I couldn’t give a rat’s ass who he crawls into bed with.

Trish Stratus: It’s just his way of getting to ya girl. Ignore him. You’ve got two kids to think about, not what crap Jason’s giving you.

Kaylee Adams McKenzie: Oh don’t worry I am. So tell me how was your appearance on Cold Pizza?

Trish Stratus: Ugh…that’s something I’d rather not think about for a very long time.

Kaylee Adams McKenzie: That bad was it? Mike had it on during our training session and from what I saw of it, it didn’t look to bad. Certainly not near as bad as some of the other interviews you’ve done.

Trish Stratus: Oh my god, don’t remind me. Granted this guy wasn’t a total idiot like ninety percent of the others but still I could’ve found better things to do with my time than sit there and answer questions about who I think is the most challenging opponents or whether or not Deacon is going to be there or not.

Kaylee Adams McKenzie: (She laughs) He actually asked you that? I’m sorry Trish but that’s way too funny. How on earth did he expect you to answer it, say ‘Yes my husband isn’t going to be there and I’m going in this alone?

Trish Stratus: Knowing him I’m sure he did. Hey I haven’t talked to him since we got back from Santa Monica, I haven’t the slightest clue if he’s going to be able to be there or not. All I know is that if he doesn’t then I’m pretty much screwed cause there’s no way I’m going to be able to last against six other people by myself.

Kaylee Adams McKenzie: You don’t really think he’s not going to show up are you? I can’t see Deacon leaving you alone to face six other people especially with two of them being Chris and Courtney.

Trish Stratus: To be honest Kay I really don’t know. I try not to take stock in the rumors going around, otherwise I’d be full out crazy by now. If Deacon isn’t able to be there then there’s a good reason behind it. This isn’t Chris after all who was never around. Deacon wouldn’t leave me high and dry without having a reason.

Kaylee Adams McKenzie: For your sake I hope not. You had enough problems when you were married to Chris, you certainly don’t need anymore.

Trish Stratus: You’ll get no arguments from me on that one. Either way I’ve got more than enough to think about. I’ve got to find a way to have any hope of getting through this without getting totally destroyed. Which I can honestly tell you doesn’t look to promising. You might not be the only one retiring tomorrow night. After getting my ass handed to me I might be joining you, after I get out of the hospital that is.

Kaylee Adams McKenzie: Don’t go talking like that. Everything is going to be fine…you’ll see that. SVD, you can beat. Your pain in the ass ex, you can beat. Mister Nyman, you can beat. The Rock, you can beat as well. The only ones you have to worry about is Chris and Courtney and Courtney hasn’t been around an arena in awhile so it might be as bad as you think. I think you’re letting what this guy said get to you.

Trish Stratus: I can’t help it Kay! I’m busting my ass here and I have no idea what’s going on. It’s very frustrating. I’m seriously getting to the point where I don’t even care how this match comes out just as long as I’m able to walk out under my own power. If Deacon is there and I have some help then great but if not, then I’m prepared for what’s going to happen.

Kaylee Adams McKenzie: If anything right now all you have is Mister Nyman and Chris Michaels, you can handle that on your own girl…trust me. As many times as you’ve dealt with Chris you know him like the back of your hand so there’s nothing for you to get stressed over. End of the day you can beat him, you just have to believe you can.

Trish Stratus: Oh I know I can but I’m not going to hold my breath on the issue. If I win then I win, but if I don’t…it’s not like I’m not used to losing already you know? It’s not like I really care. The only reason I got into this match in the first place was because Deacon thought it would be the perfect thing to make us one of the premier couples around here.

Kaylee Adams McKenzie: If I didn’t have this ass kicking with Jason you know I would so have your back on this.

Trish Stratus: I know you would Kay and believe me I appreciate it.

Kaylee Adams McKenzie: Have you given any thought on what you’re going to do in case Deacon isn’t there?

Trish Stratus: You mean other than doing my best of not having my ass totally destroyed right? (She sighs) To be honest Kay, I really don’t have a plan. I know right now the only one I have to worry about is Chris but still I can’t focus entirely on him or I’m going to end up taking more of a beating then I will now. All I’m going to do is go in there and do what I have to do and hope for the best. Nothing else I can do really. This just isn’t how I pictured this match to go in any sense you know? Not that I pictured actually winning them but still.

Kaylee Adams McKenzie: You could have fooled me with that interview you gave on Cold Pizza.

Trish Stratus: What can I say, I’m a damn good lair? Hey listen Kay, we’re pulling up to the hotel so I’m going to let you go.

After the two say their goodbyes she flips her phone closed and places it back in the pocket of her jacket just as the limo pulls into the parking lot. Eric coasts up to the front of the building coming to a stop in front of the doors. After killing the engine he gets out and walks around to the back, opening the left rear door. Trish slides out first, followed by Karen. They make their way up to the hotel, disappearing inside as the scene fades.

The scene opened in the backstage area Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, where the WGEF was holding a local house show. It was the end of the night and Trish had just finished a semi decent match against a young girl right out of wrestling school. A few moments passed and Trish made her way through the thick black curtain her body still dripping with sweat and her luscious blonde hair clinging to the back of her neck. As she breezed through the thick black fabric she stepped onto a smaller steel stage that contained the usual lighting switchboard and player for the superstars?entrance music. As her theme music continued to play over the p.a. system Trish made her way across the small crowded stage offering a friendly smile to the small bunch of middle aged men seated around the table before stepping off the end of the stage onto a small set of stairs. She made her way through the makeshift entryway, which consisted of nothing more than steel poles formed together in an arch with tarps covering the top. Moments later she emerged with a big smile on her face. She knew most people in her position wouldn’t care over a mediocre win like that but she put on one of her best performances and that made her happy. She made her way down the hall humming quietly to herself as she searched for a towel to wipe at least some of the still dripping sweat off her body. As she continued down the hall she swallowed, noticing the slight stinging sensation. Up until now she hadn’t realized her throat was near that dry. As she walked around the corner she came across the catering area. Feeling the burning in her throat once more she decides to make her way over to the catering area. She heads to the room making her way through the open doorway. As she steps inside she sees several round tables throughout the surprisingly decent sized room. Worn out from facing off against someone so unexperienced she decided to have a seat for a little while. She heads over to the food line. Walking clear down to the end where a large white cooler was positioned. She lifted the lid and reached inside, pulling out a water bottle. She quickly wipes the bottle across her forehead, enjoying the icy cold feeling against her hot skin. After slightly cooling off she made her way over to table and was just about to sit down when her eyes caught sight of the clock. It was 11:30. If she wanted to get to the airport at a decent time and not have to run through the terminal then she had best forget sitting and down and be getting back to her locker room to get her stuff. Trish let out a loud sigh as she gave the chair a hard shove back against the table. She was looking forward to those moments alone. Oh well, it was life. What could she do about it anyway? Sit there for as long as her heart desired and fly into Texas in the morning half awake or head back now and actually get some sleep. Considering she was worn out, she opted for the latter of the two. That didn’t mean she had to like it. As she stepped back through the doorway she headed in the direction of her locker room with her water bottle still tightly in hand. Moments later she finally arrived at her locker room. She wrapped her hand around the knob, twisting it slightly to the right and shoving it inward. As she stepped inside the room her eyes scanned the room as if she suspected something to be out of place. When she was satisfied she stepped further inside giving the door a gentle shove closed. The coolness of the water bottle had worn off and the sweat had returned. Trish made her way across the room to the bathroom. God how a shower would feel nice right about now. She looked up at the clock that hung above the door. 11:35. Her flight didn’t leave for another couple hours yet and the airport was relatively close. Besides she really didn’t care to go on to the   smelling like God knows what. No, it was worth possibly having to rush through the airport to get in a quick shower. She steps inside the bathroom, starting the water. Pulling the shower curtain across she quickly headed across the room grabbing a pair of worn blue jeans and a plain black t-shirt along with a matching pair of black lacey bra and panties. Making her way across the room she headed back into the bathroom, getting out of her clothes. She stepped inside the shower leaning back underneath the water, closing her eyes as it poured over her. After a quick once over with the soap she finally consented to getting out. She reached around behind her twisting the knobs to the off position. As the water slowly started to trickle, she reached her hand out grabbing a towel off the rack and wrapping it around her dripping wet body. Moments later Trish stepped onto the rug quickly getting dressed in the clothes she had taken in the bathroom with her. She emerged from the bathroom hurrying across the room to the couch where she had laid her gym bag when she arrived. She quickly checked to make sure everything was there before zipping it closed and flinging it upon her shoulder. She raced down the hall towards the parking lot where she had a limo waiting to take her to the airport, As she approached the parking lot; she saw the limo waiting right outside. She shoved the doors open and headed towards it. She breathlessly gave the driver a thank you as he pulled out of the parking lot. Trish closed her eyes careful not to fall asleep as they headed towards the airport. The ride was so smooth it was hard to stay awake. About twenty minutes later the limo pulled in front of the airport. Trish didn’t even wait for the driver to come around to the back before opening the door and rushing towards the terminal. Once inside she quickened her pace to a run as she headed for the gate her flight was on. When she finally reached it, Trish was just about out of breath. She fished around inside her bag for her ticket, finally finding it at the bottom. She handed the ticket to the attendant and was quickly let inside. Moments she reached her seat and plopped down. Trish leaned her head against the back of the seat tuning out the direction from the stewardess. She had a big match coming up soon and that is where her mind was going to be. She leaned against the seat hoping to get in a few hours of sleep while she made her way to Texas. As her body rested against the semi thick cushion she could hear her cell phone ringing from inside her purse .It figured. Just when she got the chance to relax something always came up. Letting out an irritated groan she pulled herself forward grabbing her purse from its spot on the seat next to her. Reaching into the middle section she pulled out her baby pink Motorola RAZR. Flipping the phone open she saw her assistant Karen’s number on the screen. Calling to make sure she was preparing herself for the match no doubt. Trish let out a heavy sigh as she pressed the accept button.

Trish Stratus: This better be good Karen, I’ve had a hell of a night with someone who quite frankly could use at least another of training and I was hoping to get in a few hours of sleep before I fly into Amarillo tomorrow morning.

Karen: A little testy aren’t we?

Trish Stratus: You would be too if you were just deprived of getting a few hours of sleep.

Karen: A few hours huh? Sounds to me like you could more than just a few.

Trish Stratus: Very funny Karen. Certainly you didn’t call me to tell me that I need more than a few hours of sleep. What is that’s so pressing?

Karen: I just wanted to see how you were, you seemed a little upset at not knowing where Deacon is or if he’s going to be there to have your back tomorrow night.

Trish Stratus: Way to make me feel bad for getting bitchy with you. I’m not going to lie Karen, it’s got me worried. It isn’t like him to skip an event, especially one as important as this, and not say anything to me. I had to hear it from that idiot on Cold Pizza. I’ve got this huge knot in my stomach that I’m trying to suppress enough to get through this. It’s my only chance.

Karen: Even if he isn’t there you’ll be able to get through this. So far the only person that’s giving you any sort of a challenge is Chris Michaels and you are more than experienced when it comes to dealing with him.

Trish Stratus: I appreciate the pep talk Karen, but that’s not my problem. I’m torn between being a dimension of pissed off that I haven’t been in ages and worried sick.

Karen: So what are you going to do? Go through it by yourself or forfeit?

Trish Stratus: Forfeit? Me? Those are two words that don’t go together. I may be well aware of the fact that I don’t have a ice cube’s chance in hell of getting through this on my own but under no circumstances am ever going to forfeit. Trust me I know I’m going to have my ass handed to me tomorrow night but I’m not about to give up. I plan on going in there and giving it everything I have and it’s enough, fantastic and if not?then I tried.

Karen: I must admit you’re taking this a lot better than I thought you would be.

Trish Stratus: Don’t get me wrong Karen, I want to get the titles since it’s me and Deacon but I’m not going to sit here and kid myself into believing something I know isn’t going to happen. What I’m dreading is hearing Chris run his mouth day after day when him and Courtney win the titles.

Karen: What makes you think Chris and Courtney are going to win the titles?

Trish Stratus: Are you serious with that question? Come on Karen, take a look at who’s in this match. The Rock hasn’t bothered to show up, SVD doesn’t have what it takes to get the job done. Mister Nyman may be good but let’s face it even he doesn’t have what it takes to get through this alone and his loser of a partner couldn’t fight his way out of a wet paper bag with a hole in it. Especially when all he does is “boycott?every match he’s booked for because he’s got his panties in a wad that Nyman is looking for someone who knows what to do inside of a wrestling ring. As for Chris and Courtney, Chris unfortunately has shown up but Courtney is scarcely quiet.

Karen: It’s nowhere near as bad as what you’ve made it out to be. With Chris being you’re only real opponent, even without Deacon you stand a pretty good chance at getting the Tag Team Titles.

Trish Stratus: Perhaps but I’m not holding my breath.

As the words escaped her lips the stewardess came out to inform them that the plane was about to start landing and everyone needed to get their seatbelts on. Turning her attention back to her conversation with Karen, she quickly informed her assistant that her plane was about ready to land and she would be at the arena as soon as she could. After a simple okay, the two women said their goodbyes. Trish flipped her phone closed and tossed it back inside her purse before fastening her seatbelt as the plane starts to descend. After a half hour it finally hit the ground sending everyone flying forward in their seats then slamming against the back seconds later. The plane coasted along the runway eventually coming to a smooth stop in front of the gate. Flight attendants gathered up front as the announcement was made for everyone to begin getting off the plane. Unfastening their seatbelts Trish rose to her feet. As usual people pointed and stared as they made her way through the terminal. She made a quick pit stop at the baggage claim to grab her luggage before making her way through the crowded terminal to her waiting limo. Catching a bag boy loafing at the baggage counter she grabs him by the arm and leads him over to where her bags are. He scoops her bags into his arms and follows her across the terminal. As they make their way out the doors Trish heads for her limo sliding into the back seat as the bag boy loads her bags in the trunk. After twenty minutes everything was in the trunk. The limo shut the trunk and headed around to the front. He climbed in the driver’s seat and turned on the engine. After a couple of minutes he pulled out of the parking lot and into traffic. An hour and a half later they finally reach the arena to a large group of fans clustered at the top of the back drive. The limo pulls through the parking lot coming to a stop in front of the rear entrance doors.  As the engine goes quiet the left front door opens and a middle aged man dressed in a plain black suit with a white dress shirt steps out. He walks around to the back pulling the door open. Trish slides out smoothing out the bottom of her Startusfaction T-Shirt as she waited for the limo driver to return with her gym bag. A few moments pass and the driver returns carrying her black gym bag. Trish takes the bag from him draping it over her shoulder. She offers him a polite smile and a thank you before turning around and heading towards the building. A few moments later she finally reaches the building and is stopped by the security guard on duty. She reaches into the front pocket of her gym bag for her company id. Seconds later she pulls out the small plastic card and hands it to him. He looks on the clipboard in his hands and searches for Trish’s name. Finding it towards the bottom of the page he crosses it off handing the card back to her. She shoves it back into the pocket of her gym bag as she heads inside. Once inside she turns down the hallway where the locker rooms were at. As she makes her way down the hall she sees her friend Drake Striker standing just a few feet away sipping on a cup of coffee. She makes her way over to where he’s standing for a little friendly chit chat He told her about Chris Orton’s latest in ring promo. Trish couldn’t help at how predictable he was. Her laughter was soon interrupted by someone tapping her on the shoulder. She turned around to see none other than Todd Grisham standing behind her holding his microphone in his hand accompanied by the same goofy expression on his face.
Todd Grisham: Excuse me Trish, but I was hoping to get a quick interview with you about your match Tuesday night on Raw.

Trish Stratus: Don’t even give me time to get to my office and drop my stuff off before you hunt me down to ask another series of stupid questions.

Todd Grisham: Well I?

Trish rolls her eyes as she pulls her hand away from the card signaling to Todd to shut up.

Trish Stratus: Did I ask to hear your pathetic excuses Todd? No I didn’t. Just get your stupid questions over with so I can have a few moments of peace while the day is still young yet.

Todd Grisham: I wasn’t going to?

Trish Stratus: Just shut up already and ask the questions.

Todd nods and calls for a cameraman. A few moments later they are joined by one of the company’s many cameramen. The cameraman positions the camera on his shoulders aiming it directly at Todd as he gets ready. A few moments pass and he gives Todd the all clear signal. Todd raises his mic up towards his mouth and starts to speak.

Todd Grisham: Ladies and Gentlemen I’m standing here with WGEF Co- Owner and Raw General Manager Trish Stratus, who tomorrow night will be competing in a Fatal Fourway Match for the vacant Tag Team Titles. This is a whole new type of match for you. How do you feel about competing in a match like this?

Trish Stratus: What is that the standard first question around here? Before you spend what little free time I have decided on how to go about answering it let me save you the trouble…don’t bother. I’m going to answer your pathetic question and save myself  a few hours of standing here and putting up with you for any longer than I absolutely have to. How does it make me feel? (She laughs) Let’s see Todd, I feel just fine about it. And why shouldn’t I? Because it’s something new? Take a good long look Todd, I’m not one of the pussies in the divas locker room that run away from something new. As far as how I feel about this match, to me it’s the same as any other. Of course the Tag Team Titles does hold a certain extra perk but it doesn’t change how I feel about the match itself.

Todd Grisham: When this match was first announced it didn't take long to draw the attention of some of the WGEF's biggest names, you and Deacon being two of them of course. Can you tell us why you decided to sign up?

Trish Stratus: Why shouldn't we? You said it yourself Todd, it drew the attention of some of the biggest names in the WGEF so it's only natural that we sign up and have the two biggest superstars in the company hold the Tag Team Titles.

Todd Grisham: With Chris Jericho boycotting the match and The Rock, Deacon Havok and Courtney Helmsley Michaels so far have yet to make an appearance, do you think that has increased your chances of coming out on top?

Trish Stratus: Well of course it has Todd, instead of having six pains in the asses to deal with I now have three. The less of them that I have to deal with it's always going to make it a little bit easier on me  and easier is always better. Not that it would make a whole lot of difference anyway.

Todd Grisham: And why is that?

Trish Stratus: Take a look at who's in this match Todd. Only half of them have any talent , a certain more than the other pair but that's beside the point, and the other bunch....let's just say that my two year old daughter could beat them without breaking a sweat. A little harsh I know  but the truth isn't always nice. Especially when you have guys like SVD who lost his Television Title on the very first freaking defense to a guy who got out of competing at every opportunity. What does that say about him seriously? Then we have Mister Nyman, who apparently needs a little lesson on how to pick a tag team partner. He really does. The man went from one loser straight to another and in the process twisted his partner's panties in a wad cause now he's throwing a fit like a two year old and boycotting matches to send the message that he's better. And people wonder why I left his sorry ass on the first chance I got. Yet you ask me if I think a certain few not showing up is going to increase my chances of getting the Tag Team Titles. Even if they did show up, it would only one other person as a contender and with Deacon by my side Chris and Courtney would defintely be getting the challenge of their lives.

Todd Grisham: You've pretty much aingled out Chris Michaels as your sole competitor in this match. Have you given any thought to Courtney showing up at the last possible minute and snatching the Tag Team Titles right out of your grasp?

Trish Stratus: Of course I have Todd. Ruling out Courtney making an appearance at the last possible second could prove to be a costly mistake and with the Tag Team Titles on the line I'm not about to make any mistake that could cost me what I'm going to be out there busting my ass for. Although it's not Courtney's style to wait till the absolute last possible second I don't put anything past her especially if she sees it as a way to screw me over.

Todd Grisham: One last question Trish. With Chris Michaels being the odds on favorite to win this match you've definitely got your work cut out for you tonight. In the past you have managed to score some rare pin falls over him, as he has over you. How well do you think you'll be able to stand against him?

Trish Stratus: Are you asking me if I think I can beat him? (Todd nods) Then why on earth didn't you say that? Look Todd I'm not going to lie, Chris Michaels is difficult to beat and unpossible for some poeple. The fact of the matter is that I have beaten him twice and taken him to a draw once. If I could do it then, then I can certainly do it now. Now if you don’t have any more stupid questions for me to answer, I have much more important things to do.

Having said all she needed to say, Trish turned around and walked the few steps towards her office door. Gripping the handle she twisted it slightly to the right and shoved it forward. She turned around to give Todd one final look. He was still standing there with a blank expression on his face. Trish let out a laugh and stepped inside the room as the scene faded to black.
