2nd Easiest Applespice  Cake :
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup raisins, coarsely chopped
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch square pan. In a medium bowl, combine raisins and flour. Add cinnamon, cloves and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Dissolve baking soda into applesauce and mix into creamed butter. Add flour mixture. Mix until smooth.
Pour batter into a 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees F ( 175 degrees C) for 40 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (8 inch) round pans, OR 1 (9x13 inch) pan. Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in the applesauce. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Beat in the flour mixture, mixing just until incorporated. Stir in the raisins and walnuts. Spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes for the 8 inch layers, OR 35 to 40 minutes for the 9x13 inch pan. Test to see if a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pans for 5 minutes before turning out onto cooling racks.

If you are new here you may have got lost, so I thought I'd save you the hassle of searching for it . 
So here it is :
 
Apple Cake Fruit Mix          -
COURTESY OF CALVARY BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP .
you will need an agee jar lge size. 1 green rim to fit .1 rubber band, 9" round of cardboard . material to fit .
some raffia string to go around the top.  plus a ribbon and a fancy plain card for writing ingredients and method to cook on it ..
1st cut out your 9" circle of material . iron it then put aside . take a pce of raffia and make sure it is long enough to tie around top .  place the rubber band with these as well .   then go to the kitchen with your agee jar  and add as the list says in layers :
For Spicy Cake Mix:
1/4 cup milk powder;
3/4 tspn salt;
1 tspn baking powder;
3/4 tspn baking soda;
3/4 tspn cinnamon;
1/4 tspn +1/8 tspn nutmeg ;
1/4 tspn+ 1/8 tspn  cloves;
1/2 cup + 1 tbspn. brown sugar ;
1 cup flour [plain];
1/2 cup sultanas;
1/3 cup chopped nuts or extra dried fruit;
3/4 cup sugar;
1/2 cup flour [extra].

Layer the ingredients , in the order given, into a wide mouth  1 quart preserving jar. pack each layer into place before adding next ingredient.
Screw down the the jar lid with the ring , then decorate  with a 9 " diameter circle of fabric secured with a rubber band  before tying with raffia / ribbon/ twine /yarn as preferred.attach the recipe card  and a personalised gift tag.
The mixture should be able to keep up to 6  mths, unless it contains nuts ,then should be used before 3 months .
 
 
On gift tag write this down:
Apple and Spice Cake :
1 jar of spicecake mix.
1+ 1/2  cups Applesauce mix [350 g]
2 eggs .[size 7 is best ]
Preheat oven to 190oC  and when mixed
turn down to 325oF .0r 165oC. no more !
in a large bowl empty cake mix and gently
break up mix of all lumps .Mix together 2
eggs and sauce , Blend into dry ingredients;
Spread onto well greased tin .bake for 45-
55 mins .let it cool before removing .
[cake mix will keep for 3-4 mths.]
 
comments :
Unsure about the cake though !
Mine went fast .
I use a ring tin so when cooled afterwards ,it can be removed so easy.

Apple Cinnamon Pecan Cake
A duo of apple and pecans will win everyone over.
2 cups   all-purpose flour  
2 tsp   baking powder  
1 tsp   ground cinnamon  
1/2 tsp   ground nutmeg  
1 cup   granulated sugar  
1/2 cup   (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened (we recommend
LAND O LAKES® Butter)  
2  large eggs  
1 tsp vanilla extract  
2/3 cup NESTLÉ CARNATION Evaporated Lowfat Milk  
3  medium baking apples,peeled,cored &
finely chopped 
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans   
Powdered sugar  
Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg in medium bowl.
Beat granulated sugar and butter in large mixer bowl until creamy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
Alternately beat in flour mixture and evaporated milk.
Stir in apples and nuts.
Spread batter into prepared baking pan.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in
center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 20 minutes.
Cut into bars.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
Servings: 15
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour and 15 minutes

Apple 'Pan-Cake'
Batter Ingredients:
6 eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Topping Ingredients:
4 apples, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup margarine
1/4 cup raisins
Combine dry ingredients for batter, add liquids.
Blend until smooth. Melt margarine in oven in a
9" x 13" baking dish. Pour apples, raisins, and
brown sugar into hot margarine, stir until apples
are coated and brown sugar is melted.
Return to oven until butter is hot again, add batter.
Bake for 20 minutes at 425 degrees.
Cut "pan-cake" into serving pieces. Serves 6-8.

Garden State Apple Kuchen
Peel & slice 4-5 apples into a large mixing bowl.
Pour 2 cups of sugar, or less, over them; toss to coat.
Let stand while measuring into same bowl,
place all ingredients on top of apples. 
2 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 eggs  3/4 cup oil
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup raisins 
Mix together to blend ingredients well and to
coat apples evenly. Pour into well greased 9x13 pan
(or 2-8 in round pans) and bake at 350 degrees
about 70 minutes or until top springs back when pressed with finger.

Apple cake    [loaf tin]
4oz. butter-soft;.
2 eggs;
grated rind of lemon;
1 c. firmly pack. brown sugar;
3 med. size. Cooking apples -peeled& grated.;
2 1/2 c. S.R.Flour;
Pinch salt.;
1/4 c. wheatgerm;
1/3 c. apple juice or cider;
3/4c. chopped walnuts*
Icing sugar.
Put all ingred. in bowl and beat 4 mins. Stir in walnuts.
Put in greased loaf tin  9x5 " 
Bake approx. 1-1. 1/2 hrs. or until done.
Remove from oven .Leave for 10 mins.
Turn out onto rack .
Leave till cold & then sift with icing sugar.

Upside down Apple & Ginger Cake/Loaf.
2 cups Apples sliced .
10 oz. flour
1/4 lb. sugar,
1tsp. each cinnamon, ginger,
mix spice &
pinch salt.
Mix well in bowl.
Heat 1/4 lb. butter
and 2 tbsps. golden syrup
together in saucepan.
and add to dry ingredients.
Mix 1&1/4 tsp. soda
and 1/2 c. milk and add to bowl.
then lastly add beaten egg .
Put sliced apples in base of dish .pour over mixture to cover.
Cook 1 hr. in not too hot an oven 350oF-150oC.
By adding an extra egg this will fit into a square expanding tin.
Invert when cooked &. turn out on tray.

Apple & Nut Loaf.
2 c. flour;.
3oz. butter
1/2 tsp. salt.;
2 tbsps sugar.
2 tbsps golden syrup.;
1 c. raisins.
1 tsp. b.soda.;
1 c. walnuts.;
1 egg.;
1/2 c.apples diced
Milk to mix to soft dough.
Cream butter and sugar ,
add egg and syrup and other ingredients.
bake for 1 hr. mod . oven.Test.
then turn out after 10 mins on wire tray.

Spiced Apple Coffee Cake
1 cup sugar ;
2 cups flour ;
1 tsp. baking powder ;
1 tsp. soda ;
1/4 tsp. salt ;
1/2 cup shortening ;
1 egg ;
1 cup milk ;
1 tsp. vanilla ;
4 or 5 chopped apples ;
Mix the dry ingredients and the shortening until
it becomes crumbs. Add the egg, milk and
vanilla and mix well. Lastly, add the chopped apples.
Pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan and add the topping.
Topping:
3 Tbsp. melted butter ;
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup flour;
1 tsp.coffee;
1tsp cinnamon;
1 cup chopped nuts ;
Mix together and spread over batter.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for about 45 mins.
