Good Morning !

How is everyone today?

I haven't been up too long....and I wouldn't be up now, except that Nature called!!!!!

Sooooo?

What are you going to do today?

I have laundry, lotsa laundry!

I got back here yesterday around 2:00 p.m. and I really just sorta lounged around...

Tried to watch television last night BUT kept falling asleep , so went to bed.

Wasn't a good sleep BUT it was sleep.

Denis & Zack got to the locker  just after 10:00 yesterday and I had been there long enough to get the items out of the locker and lined up for them to load.(I also had re-organized the locker, while I waited!). We loaded that and then they followed me downtown Toronto, where we had to pick up another load of stuff that was going with them, at a clients' house, that is moving back to Vancouver.

That was a real challenge to get it all in BUT we did!

Now I suspect that it is all in "oneofakindCindys" garage, to be re-arranged into her house today.....hopefully!

All in all.....Saturday was a very good day!....except when I got home...there had been a phone call from a "new client", saying that she was going to have to "quit"...because she couldn't afford my service.

I think that because her husband had to write the cheque for me last week....he found out how much she was paying and he put the stop to it!...Purely speculation BUT that is what I think.

Anyway...they is a waiting list....again so all I have to do is call someone today & the spot will be filled.

Giess I better look up a "share" for this morning.

I will have to post it "under the frame", in order for you to be able to see it.

Have a wonderful day,

& I may see everyone later....

Goat Cheese, Pepper and Bacon Tart

1 (8 or 9-inch) unbaked pie shell
4 slices bacon, cooked crisply and crumbled
1/2 red bell pepper, finely chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped
4 ounces goat cheese
4 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
  1. Place pie shell in pie plate. In bottom of pie shell evenly scatter the crumbled bacon and chopped peppers.
  2. In medium bowl, beat together the cheese, eggs, milk, seasonings and onion. Pour over bacon and peppers in pie shell.
  3. Bake in a 325*F oven for about an hour, until set ( a knife inserted into custard halfway between center and crust will come out clean) and lightly browned on top.
  4. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Makes 8 servings
