I read with interest that this little numpty thinks he's being sectarianaly (if thats a word) abused throughout Scotland becuase he's an irishman playing for C*ltic. Sorry son, but the reason your getting stick is because your a traitor to the nation of your and your parent's birth. You better get used to it, this ain't going away and will haunt you for your entire career. You made your bed and all that. |

His value will drop as well, as clubs will know that sellik will just be wanting him out the door. |

Watch out for him being brought back into the squad on Monday. |

That is an absolute certainty imho, also, look for a Lazarus style recovery by Sean Malony. On Boxing day there will be press reports that he's 'showing signs of recovery and has a chance of making it', by the following day he'll be a certain starter. |

I've found what Strachan said about McGeady's decision to play for Ireland. |

Like TGO, I'm not convinced McGeady won't play against Rangers on the 27th. I can see Celtic's thinking here. "Right, we need to make some sort of public example of him here, so let's pretend we're banning him from the team for 2 weeks, including the Old Firm game. That'll grab some headlines and put the wee nyaff in his place. But really we need him for the 27th, so we'll let him miss the Falkirk game on Sunday because we'll win that anyway, they're crap. Then we can leak the story to the papers on Sunday night that the wee nyaff has come crawling back to us on his hands and knees and begged forgiveness. That means we can get him back in the squad for a full week's preparation for unleashing him against the h**s." Watch this space. As for Maloney, yeh he'll more than likely play as well. We've seen it all before many many many times. |

great note, lol.
I think before Strachan, an ex Scotland player and from what i can gather before he became manager of Celtic had a slightly stronger allegiance to Rangers, even though he was an Aberdeen Player. Maybe because he was attacked by a Celtic fan, while playing for Aberdeen, maybe not. I think that's the reason for him saying this of McGeady before taking the Celtic job |

Alltims, Strachan's allegiance has always been towards Hibernian, never Rangers. |

You clearly never watched Strachan play against Rangers, Alltims. Don't believe everything you readon celticminded.com or talkceltic.net . |

I think he was a guest of McLeish's that day as I recall seeing him. The reason I remember it was that I couldn't get a ticket and pointed out to my wife that that was one of the reasons normal supporters lost out in major cup finals. |

He was at the game, yes, and I've seen a picture of him wearing a Rangers scarf in the after-match celebrations talking to McLeish. But he was there as a guest of the SFA and just happened to be sitting close to the dugout area and McLeish spotted him, then the cameras spotted them both. I remember reading that McLeish hadn't invited him, but can't remember where. |

An interesting wee proposed chant for next week from FF He must have gone home! He must have gone home! We can't see Mcgeady! He must have gone home! Made me laugh anyway Pity he'll probably play anyway after C*ltic pull their usual pre-match scam. I guess the fans will just have to concentrate on making sure Borat leaves in a straightjacket. |

And so the re-integration of McGeady into the team ahead of the Old Firm game commences right on schedule, as predicted. Typically, it's one of Liewell's mhedia pets who has been used to start the process, with his back page banner headline in the Sunday Mail about McGeady having apologised to Strachan as early as last Monday. Why has that not come out till now ? Because Celtic knew they could beat Falkirk without McGeady, and were making a public example of him by leaving him out for this game. Watch out for him re-joining first team training tomorrow. Celtic went to such enormous lengths to get McGeady playing the Old Firm game this time last year, I refuse to believe they won't bend over backwards to get him in the team again for next Saturday. |
