after yesterdays performance there really can't be any defence of the man imo. If his job is purely to score when his chance comes then he failed twice, one in each half. Other than that, the penalty apart, he was completely peripheral to the game. Now I don't really rate Khenny Misser that highly, but I'd rather have him running about causing problems and not scoring than Boyd not running about or causing problems and not scoring either  |

Don't get me wrong, Rosco. I didn't put those stats up as a criticism of Boyd, it was purely out of interest. I am of the opinion at the moment that we simply can't afford to leave Boyd out of the team. While he is scoring the number of goals he is at the moment he is invaluable to the side. It's when he's not scoring that he contributes nothing else. |
