I raised the matter of the Scott MacDonald potential read card tackle on another thread. Listening to the game live the pundits were unanimous that it was a red card offence. In the papers the following dayand today it was the major talking point of the game, at least as significant in discussion as any of the goals. Guess what? the BBC, STV and Setanta have all decided that the incident wasn't worthy of inclusion in their highlights packages. Is anybody surprised? Nothing to see here! Move along, move along! |

I do, however, think it was a red card offence, as it was identical to McNovo's tackle at Pittodrie on the last day of the SPL season last May. |

All I said was that the look on his face was reminiscent of that of Simpson. Now that I've seen the tackle I accept that it can't be compared to Simpson on Durrant in terms of severity and intent to injure, however it was still absolutely a red card offence. |

It was an honest assessment of the picture I saw in the paper. And now I've seen the incident itself I'm giving an honest assessment again. I'm never give anything other than honest opinions on here. |
