It should not be embarrising to go to Edinburgh and loose in the title race, just the same as Liverpool do not get pounded if they are beaten at Villa, nor should we be at Hearts or Hibs.
Are we finally seeing a balance returning to the Scottish top flight, a balance where Celtic and Rnagers will have to go and earn points away from home? For me this is the way it should be. I am not sure how the modern old firm fan will cope with this mind you, they have developed an attidude "no win" "no good" regardless of the oposition.

Any thoughts on this?

I think the strength of reaction to last weeks defeat at Tyncastle was more down the performance than the actual result. For my money it is unacceptable for a Rangers team to go through 90 minutes against any domestic opponent without a single shot on target. On the generality of accepting defeat in Edinburgh I agree in part. These teams should be big enough and good enough to provide the old firm with realistic opposition.

My anger last week wasn't aimed at the team so much, more at Walter Smith. He handicapped us right from the start with his ridiculous team selection and his inability to motivate the team to start the game at a good tempo.

I don't want to hear the same "we started slowly" excuses after Tannadice next Saturday, because that will mean we have lost again.

I agree with the performance issue 100% for the game against hearts and I was not trying to cover for this, just intersted if anyone thought that the gap was closing.

I just think they are hard places to get results, just like tannadice and pittodrie, i don't think we have to worry about these teams challenging for the title.

Hibs had only one win in their last 8 before taking on Celtic and that was theonly clean sheet they've kept at home this season
