A wee bit of light relief from the Old Firm debate. What have we got planned for holidays in 2009 ? Mrs Nessie ?and I are off to Paris for a couple of days at the end of January. We got cheap flights with Ryanair from Prestwick to Beauvais and we're booked into a wee 3-star hotel round the corner from the Arc de Triomphe. A nice wee break to look forward to when we go back to work/college next week. Then we'll make do with the public holiday weekends in April for Easter and early May before our summer holiday. On the very last day of the school term (26th June) we're off to Orlando for 2 weeks in Mickey's back yard, flying direct from Gatwick with Virgin Atlantic. We're staying in a villa at Legacy Park in Davenport, just at the 192/27 junction for those who know the area. The flights are all fully paid for and the villa deposit paid, just the car hire and park tickets to sort out now. That leaves me four days' holiday still to take in the back end of the year, which I may try to tag onto the September weekend holiday, or save for the school week in October, maybe for somewhere like Haggerston Castle or Craig Tara, or some other idea that comes into my head between now and then. Then, of course, it's 2 weeks off for Christmas and New Year again. Anybody else got it all planned ? |

Got a very busy schedule for 2009 starting with a 2 day trip to Manchester to see The Killers at the MEN Arena in March. After that it`s off to Salou with my son end of June, back for a few days of work then down to London for 2 days to see Blur play Hyde park. Then it`s over to the Ibiza hotel for a boys holiday end of July. Then it`s off to Hydro Connect Festival end of August. |
