Hee hee, sutton, now behave yourself and stop trying to put words into our mouths.
Nobody said that Celtic "cheated". They just exploited loopholes in the rules to their advantage in a very unsportsmanlike way and were backed up at every turn by the "establishment" that they constantly claim is against them. It wouldn't have happened in any other country, in my opinion anyway.
Nobody said that Rangers were the true champions. We will never know what would have happened had the season been extended by even just one extra week to make up for the two games that were postponed due to the enforced postponenent of matches to help the national tream prepare for the Scotland v Italy game and Celtic's shameful exploitation of Phil O'Donnell's death. Perhaps Celtic would still have won the league, we'll never know. But I do know that the FA of any other country in Europe wouldn't have crumpled under the pressure exerted on them by the chairman of one single club looking to exploit so many situations to gain a competitive advantage, and doing it under the shameful guise of "sporting integrity".
And would any other country in Europe have made one of their teams play three matches in six days immediately before a European final, giving them only three days to prepare to make history for that same country and causing them to go into that final with 7 of their 10 outfield players carrying niggling injuries against a team who had a fortnight's rest and preparation ? I think you know the answer to that.
