Once one of my favourite Rangers players of all time, a giant of a captain who was central to the re-birth of my club in the mid 80s. Now I dislike the man intensely because he clearly hates the club whch made him the man he is in his adopted country.

He started the Setanta program today "hoping for a few goals from C*ltic" and finished it looking quite despondent at the summary of it being a great weekend for Rangers.

His demenour goes well beyond any simple attempt to be seen to be impartial. I think something has happened down the years to really put him off Rangers. It can't simply be residual bitterness after the bust up with Souness that led to him refusing to play in a cup final and eventually leaving the club? I mean Souness has been away from Rangers for nearly 20 years now! Having said that, with the perspective of the way he made a complete fool of himself over the Maradona visit last year then maybe that is what it's all about. He's clearly a very bitter man anyway, any respect I had for him is now lost and I think that's quite sad to be honest.
