Ouden/Mr Wonder It is so simple even a Caveman got out of the Trinity...LOL But hey it didnt fly over his head like it does yours... This is what the Caveman really had to say... Christ uses the concept of "being one" in other places, and from them one can see that "one purpose" is what is meant. John 11:52 says Jesus was to die to make all God’s children "one." In John 17:11,21 and 22, Jesus prayed to God that his followers would be "one" as he and God were "one." The Caveman think it is obvious that Jesus was not praying that all his followers would become one being or "substance" just as he and his Father were one being or "substance." The Caveman believe the meaning is clear: Jesus was praying that all his followers be one in purpose just as he and God were one in purpose, a prayer that has not yet been answered. |

Trinity - the union of the Father and Son and Holy Ghost in one Godhead...LOL Its not hard to define it... Trinity Theology In most Christian faiths, the union of three divine persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in one God. |

Ouden In fact, though it is sad to say, throughout Church history from about 400 AD to about 1800 AD, countless people were put to death for refusing to believe in the idea of “one God in three persons.? |

Unisage If there is three persons; ie a Trinity in the Godhead, Two of them do not have any Power; Jesus Christ the Son has All Power; MT 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Jesus Saves Acts 2;38 |

Ouden During the past 2,000 years, various traditions have been layered over basic Christian truths. At the foundation of some of these teachings are bold and imposing forms of anti-Judaism. Modern scholars are reexamining the history of the early Christians and are finding that, along with Jesus Christ and the apostle Paul, the first followers were much more Judaic than was formerly thought. What does this mean for the future of Christianity? |
