1 Peter 3:21 (King James Version)

21The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

The problem is people wants Grace, but they still wants to cling to their evli ways/evil inclination.
        The main purpose of Baptism is to bury our evil ways/evil inclination, and raised up from the water in the Newness of life. Grace only comes when we have turn our hearts to God.to walk in His ways, through repentace not to walk  in the stubbornness of our evil heart.
       Grace is God's illuminating our soul, when God looks inside our heart and He sees that,  the evil ways was all cleared from our heart, and His Grace/forgiveness is a way of God telling human 'welcome back' to me.
      Therefore the main main purpose of Grace/God overlooking our sins is to bring  us in Newness of life towards Him, not in the old Nature.

baptism allows one to be eligiable for the kingdom of God. A full baptism is both of the water, (which is to be completely submerged) and of the holyghost (evident 1st by speaking in tongues 2nd by living a holy and sanctified life.) to say one does not need to be baptized in water is contrary to the word and u have made it a lie. The apostle baptized everyone in water even those that where johns deciples were rebaptized. Even Jesus was baptized by water. And he is the ultimate example of how one is to follow God.

Mr.Wonder;

     I will stand up and say that you are somewhat correct.Many apostolics,especially the ministry,can be very mean and un-loving in their discussions.I found God in an apostolic church forty years ago.I attended and belonged to several different apostolic churches until five years ago.I still believe in One God.I believe that the right way to be baptized is in the name of Jesus.There are a lot of good people in apostolic churches,and I visit,but I will never be a member of one again.Some of their views are too hurtful to sinners for my liking.
     Unlike most apostolics,I have come to realize that some people have the Lord outside of the apostolic world.They do not have a monopoly on God,or on the truth.
     Anyway,there are some good,God fearing apostolics.
