It eating them a sin,   NO. Are they healthy is another thing. It is proven that eating pork as we have done in the past is not healthy., same for shell fish. Then one should ask is eating too much of anything healthy, which it is not.

well i dont think we should eat it because it is unhealthy BUT we do and its not a sin.

Well what about all the allergies to shellfish,as well as pork?Besides hogs are considered the landdwelling garbage disposals,just like shellfish do for the oceans,and catfish serve the same purpose in fresh water.

  Besides,if hogs had been intended for human consumpsion,why is the milk highly toxic to all other animals,other than pigs?

  Also when one develops certain health problems their doctor restricts their intake of Biblically unclean meats.

   Personally gave up eating pork several years ago,interesting a number of personal health issues disappeared shortly threre after.
