Gen 2:21-23: "And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man, made he woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman becasue she was taken out of man."
The wifes body is her husbands... The wifes body was taken from the flesh of her husband and given to him as a help mate. Her flesh is not her own; it belongs to her husband. They are one body, and that body is the husbands body.
This precept establishes our right to claim Jesus's Body as our Body... be careful how you believe. Reversing this precept, to declare man and wife have separate bodies, held in common... denies the beleivers claim to Christ's Body as their personal body.
The believer looses his identity (body) too become a new creation in Christ... We are born again of the Spirit... in The Body of Christ... that we may be ONE with Chirst. Even, as Eve was born out of the body of Adam... a new creaton called woman.
1Cor 7:4-5... does not say a wife has her own body, with her own power, over her body. On the contrary, Paul is simply saying that the use of the husband and wife's physical bodies for sexual purposes shall not be witheld by one or the other without consent:
"The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, thay ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency."
The wifes body is the husbands... Her body is his body. (because she was made for him, created out of his own flesh). Her identity is lost in her husbands body. The common law of man once understood this concept... Once... the law of man held God's precepts in man's law. Check out the historical concept of man's law concerning husband and wife. Women were not treated as separate entities under the law of our forefathers. Today, men have forgotten the Law of the Husband... and divided the body of man and wife under mankinds law.
Again, I say... nay the Lord has said: The wife has no body other than that of her husbands; she, being created from his flesh and returned too him... as his rightful flesh... to be a wife (help mate).
"And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make HIM (man) an help meet for HIM (man). Again God said in Gen 3:16: "Unto the woman He (God) said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."
The above scriptural precepts are confirmed in several places in the new testatment. Here are three witnesses: 1Cor 11:3,7-9; Eph 5:23;1Tim 2:11-15)
We speak of these things not with the words of man's wisdom... but with the discernment of the Holy Spirit, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. For the natural mind can not receive the things of the Spirit of God. They are foolishness to the flesh of man. Nor, can the world understand them for they are spiritually discerned.
Yet, he who is spiritual judgeth all things... for who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ in whom all things are made known thru His Word and Spirit.
Therefore, be no more carnally minded... put off the former conversations (ideas) of the world and put on the mind of Christ... the Word of God. That ye may be transformed by the renewing of your mind, to prove that which is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
And this ye shall do if ye seek Him with patients... casting down every thought and imagination that exhalts itself against the Word of God. Let not any vain man teach thee otherwise; for, the world is full of conciet and deciet... The doctirne of the world bringings strong delusion to the mind and heart of those who drink from its well.
The worlds concept of equality in the flesh between man and wife, ends where scripture begins... In the beginning God created woman from mans own flesh, and gave her to man as a wife.
