How sad where is the Love Yo?
I feel if the shorts go down to the knee then you are safe but if they are short shorts showing the thighs or more (dazy dukes) then they are not ok but I would never ever tell someone change your clothes or you aint goin how wrong is that where is the Love of Christ in that?
I do believe in modest dress and I do believe that women that dress loosely are causing men to sinn but man let me tell you that if a woman sees my little bird legs (from the knees down ) they aint gone burn with passion I mean to tell ya! LOL!!!!! |

I have a lot of love. I still won't contend that shorts or pants on a woman is proper dress though. Nor do I believe that shorts on men is proper dress. I believe that God has to first deal with the heart and not let people in the church do it. We can't have holiness and the world. If you think you can have one on one hand and do what you want on the other I am sorry but your sadly mistaken. II Tim 9] In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
[10] But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
Rev 3 14] And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
[15] I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
[16] So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

I would just like to say that I have been brought up in an extreemly strict church and home. During the past 5 years I relocated and attended a church where my wonderful pastor didn't dog us on how we dressed. You were invited to come to church "Just as you are". We(our church) found that by leaving "new converts" alone and getting them to concentrate on GOD, the rest came with Time. I believe with all my heart in not wearing pants and not cutting my hair and all the rest but!!!..... I do or don't do these things to please God. To show him I love HIm. To submit my will to Him. New converts need to be made feel at home. THey need to feel our love. Christ came to this world to save not us. We are here to whorship HIm and HELP sinners come to him. Help to show them the way. How many people I have seen destroyed by saints who come on to strong and while thier intentions are good, they destroy that new little baby. I was reading the entry on "meat" I agree with your question. SOmetimes Pastors; who's job it is to look out for us, pass on their "man-made"rules. I say if its in the Bible-Preach it!!! If its a personal conviction -Live it! New converts need to know how to dress to please God. But somehow I think that if they are coming to a church full of apostolics who are dressing right and acting right they will start asking questions. Let God work. He will open doors and he will use us in great ways. We need to be mindful of others and always, always do things in love. By the way- the bible says uncut hair as well as long hair. I believe that when a women Stops cutting her hair it becomes long in the eyes of the Lord and the angels. Man looks on the outward but God looks upon the heart. |

I agree with you on how a woman should dress when I first became pentecostal christian I had no clue that woman shouldn't ware pants I find it so hard to believe that some woman that say they are christians still ware pants but we can't change that but thanks for posting your message |

BRO MICHAEL AMEN!!! My pastor tells the church the Word of God...plants the seed. The Lord nurtures that seed and it grows..and a SAINT OF GOD sprouts..and starts following His Word. I see it time and again. It is a great and awesome thing. The Bible says...be ye NOT conformed but be ye TRANSFORMED, by the renewing of your mind. How is someone transformed in their mind by forcing them to do things? Besides......I was once deep in sin...but my hair was real long, as were my skirts. If the Lord came..I was going straight to hell..regardless of what I was wearing or how long my hair was. HE WANTS OUR HEART AND SOUL FIRST!! The inward change starts being reflected outwardly!! Amen Sis Dawny When I went back to church at one time I had make up and not as long skirt. This one lady told me that I needed to get down there and pray through. Which although was true. She also needed to pray through due to just months later she left her husband for another man that went to the church. The other man she eventually even married. It's not the outward only, but both first the inner and then the outter will show it. I believe anybody can wear a long skirt and have hair long, but be going through the motions. We need to stir that which is in us and die daily that we don't fall. |

3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel 5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Now this verse covers the pants. In the Old Test. women were told not to wear what pertained to a MAN. So here we find that the women are to do the same as the women of old. Dont wear anything that even pertains unto a man (pants.)

 PRAISE THE LORD, I AGREE WITH YOU.THE BIBLE DOES SAY THAT IN DUET.I WAS ONCE IGNORNAT TO THAT FACT BUT I THANK GOD FOR SENDING ME TO A TRUE MAN AND WOMAN OF GOD. THEY ARE TEACHING AND PREACHING THE TRUTH.NOT ONLY THAT THEY ARE LIVING IT. IT IS ALWAYS GONING TO BE A SENSTIVE TOPIC TO THOSE WHO REJECTS GODS WORD.THE WORD TELLS US TO RETAIN GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS AND NOT OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. ONE THING MY PASTOR TEACHES US-LET MAN BE A LIAR AND LET THE WORD OF GOD BE TRUE. I LIVE MY LIFE ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE-SO IF THE WORD OF GOD SAY NOT TO WEAR,DO,LOOK OR ACT THEN I DON'T DO IT. I agree with dressing holy and everything, but first win them to the Lord before telling them not to wear this and that. We are to be fishers of men. I don't think you can clean a fish before you catch it. First catch the fish and then clean it. God is very able if a person is soft of heart and letting him lead them into all truth and righteousness. |

 People usually do what they want to do. Regardless of what the bible says. It's too bad that we don't have more "Apostle" type people that are willing to even die for what they believe. |

myself I cannot see what is wrong with a women wearing pants as long as they are not skin tight. When this stuff was wrote in the bible everyone was wearing those toga type thing. I believe this message is for transvetites and transgender. |
