Hi--I didnt know I had a box here! Thank you to who ever made it for me! I just find it myself.
Sis Barton,
I never belong to Emmanuel, but I was save there at a revival on a Tuesday night. I went down and I was filled with the Holy Ghost and the following Sun night I was baptise in Jesus' name. My boyfrined who later became my husband was UPC, my folks' independent apostolics.
Do you know The Haneys, the Milsaps and there was a family that had a music store over on Buckner, a big family with a bunch of kids, all very talented, can't remember there names, last name Strain, or something like that. Bro and Sis Toles, they was old time brush arbor people, she was a preacher and took the oneness message all over Texas when Pentecost was just started. I love to here her talk about them times, I was just a little girl but I remember her and him, to. Then Bro Phillip and sis Barbara Nottingham come out here to Balch Springs and start a little work in a old community building back in the woods and we help them for awhile but go on to join Bro Breon's church and get in the IMA fellowship, which I am still in. There is only 4 or 5 churches left in our area fellowship but we still have our meetings quarterly and conferences once a year.
We kind of bounced around from one to another but we went to Bro Fred Shindoll's UPC church in Oak Cliff for a little while, but he retire and Bro. Galloway come in, he and sis Galloway have two girls, Cheryl and Carol. We left there and went into Bro Nulisch's church back then. We wasnt in good accord because we liked the different orgs and the way the churchs run was different but we did OK until he lose his job and start sitten around the house to much. Next thing I know he backslid and start drinken and smoken and pick up all kinds of bad stuff. He finely leave me but is living with his mom and going to a UPC church now, he said he pray back thru and want to come home, but I want to see if it going to last first. I dont trust him, that is sad after all these years, but he broke it, and it going to have to be him who glue it back to gather, with Gods help. I am waiten to see, sort of like waiten for the other shoe to drop, you know?
Do you no any of these folks I write about? Oh, yeah, Emmanuel is move out to Mesquite--that one town over from me, and that is a very big and beautiful church on a hill overlooking the highway. It is pastored by Bro Paul Hosch Jr.
Well, anyways, I do gab on sometimes. LOL.
Lord bless you,
Cat
