It is amazing that you ask such a question. I am now going through that very thing that you ask. I am waiting for direction. I have been given what to do, how to do, but not exactly when to do it. Yesterday in my hour of prayer I asked what do I do now. He gave me a scripture, Psalms 119:105, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path". I studied upon this scripture, not quite finished yet, but I'll share a little of what I have and I'll post the rest on my website, The Academy.
God's word is our guide. Psalms 119 unfolds manifold features of God's word, showing how dynamically it will assist us in life's most practical circumstances. Verse 105 focus this very clearly shows how God's Word lights the way, giving direction for each step, "to my feet", and giving wisdom for long-range plans, "to my path".
Joshua links the application of God's Word to life as the most certain way to both success and prosperity in living. Joshua 1:8, "This book of law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." An act of recitation, a respeaking of God's Words; they shall not depart from thy mouth. Practice regularly Scripture memorization and meditation. The determine before hand to put it into practice, action. This promises sure success.
Get the promises of God and start quoting them, putting them in your spirit until they become a part of you. Walk in them. Speak in them. Meditate in them. Through time of prayer God will just manifest Himself to you. Wisdom will just start speaking to out of proverbs. I tell you to get exited about what God is about to do for you. If you follow His direction and let Him keep leading and not become anxious, you will stay on the path He has set before you. May God bless you.
