Perhaps I am a complete idiot, but I can't find the counter. The thing that lets you see how many minutes, hours, days, etc, you've added to your life.

Also, is there any info on your site on how to cleanse/rehab lungs that are damaged by smoking? Herbal supplements, exercise, etc?

Thank you - marcie

NEW!   Want to see an eye opening figure?  Factoring in inflation, how much will you save between now and your 69th birthday if you keep your dependency under arrest? It's called the Smoking Cost Calculator and it was brought to our attention by ---Josh--

A pack-a-day Greek software designer, on April 21, 2003 Harry went "cold turkey" claiming freedom from nicotine, and on June 6th unveiled his own meter. Graphically themed upon the milestone clubs here at  Freedom, aside from just helping you celebrate all major milestones, users are awarded Green status at one month, their quits are "Bronzed" at 3 months, turn Silver at midyear, and are awarded Gold status at one year.  In addition to tracking standard features such as time quit, cigarettes not smoked, and money and life saved, Harry's meter offers the unique ability to not only track the quit statistics of others (friends, family, and online favorites) but also to easily copy their latest statistics to your computer's clipboard (as well as your own) for quick pasting in message board posts and e-mails. With one click you'll see all the latest milestones of each quitter entered and with another click you can send them an e-mail of "support." Yes, at last, a meter design to not only foster and celebrate your own achievement, but to interactively support and encouragement the continuing success of those around you!

Quit Keeper is a small (104K), easy to install and easy to use meter for Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP users, that allows one click copying to your clipboard of time quit, cigs not smoked, money saved and life saved. Quit Keeper does not have all the fancy bells and whistles of the bigger meters but it's simple, clean and easy to use.

"Arguably the first stand-alone Quit Meter for Windows in the world, SilkQuit remains popular across the Internet on both Usenet and WWW quit smoking support forums.  The current version of SilkQuit is v2.50 and you can download it here!  SilkQuit v2.50 is compatible with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP."

Quit Time is another Windows 95/98 quitmeter that shows you how long you've been smoke-free, how many cigarettes you haven't smoked, how much money you've saved and how much longer you might live by not smoking.

Quitometer 1.0.1 is a no smoking calculator written in HyperTalk?the scripting language of HyperCard? Features include: automatic calculation of years, months, weeks, days, hours and minutes from the time of quitting; an ongoing record of the money saved since the time of quitting; can manually be updated hourly, and updates when launched, or when exporting; can save the current information to the clipboard upon quitting for pasting into signature files for posting; can export information to a text file for further record keeping; keeps date and time of exporting within the exported file.

As far as for cleaning out your lungs, see the string Will lungs ever look better? and Smoking's Impact on the Lungs.  You do not need to waste money on products that claim to get your natural cleansing systems up and going. Your own natural systems will start to repair themselves once you quit smoking.
