Does anyone ever come in here?  I keep looking but guess not.  Have I offended anyone and they wish not to see me here?  If so, sorry.  Honeybee

Honeybee!!!

Good to hear from you.  Do you ever hear from Littleone anymore?  She slipped off the radar screen...which is easy for her to do because she's so small...and I have not heard or seen her for ages.

Everything is fine here...except we are in the throes of a drought.  It's so dry that the fish in the river have their backs sticking out of the water, and they have ticks all over them.

I came in here for a little while yesterday and looked around.  I saw some pine needles over in the corner, so I knew Mern had been here.  I thought I heard her and some of the gals jumping rope just before I came in.....

                             And Teacup, the nurse,
                             And here comes Happyla

Hi Tic,  No, I haven't heard from Littleone for a long, long time.  She moved to Illinois or Indiana some time back.  I do see her in I M but so far she is always listed as away.  But,  I will make the effort to contact her to tell her we wonder how she is.

Leeri has moved again. She is in La Quinta,  in Palm Springs area.  I saw her in the spring just before she moved down here.  One of her daughters has been ill so she is busy taking care of her.  OK,,now I need to call her tonight to see how she is.  Good to hear from you.  Honeybee

To Tictoc...I chatted with Littleone yesterday on the I M.  She said they have been really busy going down  to her home almost every week end.  Her husband's mother was very ill, and died a month or so ago.  She is still in Illinois, misses the chat room and wonders about all of the FFs.

I talked to Leeri also yesterday on the telephone.  She is well and  busy. She is remodeling her kitchen in her new house in La Quinta.  She loves to cook and wants plenty of room to do her favorite thing in...LOL...We are going to try to get together soon for a visit.  I now have a guest bedroom so she has a place to sleep when she comes down here.  All the news I have now.  Honeybee

Hi Everyone,

Geesh, Tic.  How did you know by pine needles I had been here?  lol  I hope all of you are well.  We have managed to survive the hot, and I mean HOT and dry summer.  As most of you know our water wooes are serious here in Georgia.  Dang, I am down to washing dishes once a day, did that anyway, using paper plates and collecting any rain water I can.  Since most of household water usage is in the bathroom the golden rule here is "if it is brown, flush it down, if it is yellow let it mellow"  Now, ain't that something?

We are ok.  Dutch broke a vertebra in his back back in Aug.  Had surgery Sept. 15 and would you believe he walked out of the hospital about five hours later completely pain free.  He is back to work and so far is doing very well.  I had to put my nurses hat on for about 2 months but it has been retired, hopefully not to be used again.

Mercy, last I heard Littleone was in California.  She sure does get around.

Hi to all of you.  Miss you so very much.  Take care.
Mernie
