mix milk sugar salt and yolks in caucepan cook over medium heat stirring constantly just until bubbles appear around edge... cool toroom temp .... stir in vanilla and whipping cream....pour into ice cream freezer and follow instruction mmanual.
or..... just use freezer in the frig after stirring in vanilla freeze for about an hour till mushy .... whip cream until soft peaks form....spoon partially frozen mixture in another chilled bowl beat till smooth......fold in whipped cream ...pour into freezer tray....stir frequently during the first hours till firn takes 3-4 hours
makes 1 quart ice cream
