GERMAN BEEF STEW:


Ingredients

 1 1/2 LBS. Chuck cut into 2 inch cubes
2tblsp. flour
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. pepper
16 oz. can diced tomatoes w/juice
2 cups thinly sliced carrotts (or very small baby carrotts)
1/4 cup sherry
1/4 cup dark molasses
1/4 cup raisins

Procedure

Blend all spices w/flour, place meat in pot and toss with spiced flour.  Place rest of ingreients (except raisins) in small bowl, and pour over meat. Cook on low 6-8 hours  (slow cooker) Add raisins about 1/2 hour before serving.  Serve with hot buttered noodles.
