Steak and Mushrooms

Ingredients

2 1/2-3 # round steak

3 tbls mustard strong or regular whichever you like

3/4 cup flour

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

4-5 tbls salad oil

3 cups warm water

1/2 pkg dry onion soup mix

2 cans mushroom soup

1 small can mushrooms

Procedure

pound steak to tenderize.... cut into serving size pieces......rub with mustard....dredge in seasoned flour........add salt and pepper to flour......

Brown meat in oil.....add warm water and onion soup mix ....cook covered to about 1 hour till steak is tender.....add mushroom soup and mushrooms simmer 30 mins......

makes a delicious gravy
