BELL PEPPERS STUFFED WITH SHRIMP

Here are some Cajun recipes by Cajun ladies from South Louisiana.

Bell Peppers Stuffed with Shrimp

4 large bell peppers 2 pods garlic, chopped

11/2 lb. raw shrimp, chopped 2 Tbsp. oil

1 large onion, chopped Salt and pepper (to taste)

2 medium bell peppers, chopped 1c. bread crumbs

Procedure

Fry shrimp in oil until half done. Add chopped seasonings. Fry slowly for 30 minutes on medium heat. Add 1/2 cup bread crumbs salt and pepper to taste. Cut the tops off the bell peppers evenly and fill the pepper shells with mixture. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
