3 slices Gruyere cheese 1 pt. half & Half
4 eggs 1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
Procedure
Bake pie shell until just done. Lay shell with fried bacon and both cheeses. Make a custard of remaining ingredients. Pour custard over bacon and cheese. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until custard is set and browned. Serves 8. Variation: Cooked crabmeat and shrimp may be substituted for bacon and cheese.
