Will wonders never cease. I read the board every day, and since changing computers for the umpteenth time never bothered to try and rejoin. So easy now to do it . Nan, I gave up that used car salesman he was no good lolol. Thanks bunches Tic. I am sorry to hear about your problems Tic, but Nan is right. After my knee surgeries I got sort of in the dumps too and I couldn't sleep nights either. Hang in there old friend, it takes time. Lisa I am sorry about that accident holy moley, just when I think I have troubles someone else is worse off. I am doing okay these days and can get around real good. Hubby got us a fun buggy (golf cart) and we have a blast on it. Gene and I became grt.grndprnts. for the first time in June. A little girl. Our oldest grndsn got married last winter. Funny I don't feel like a grtgrndmother. I guess that brings us up to date from this end. Once again, Thanks Tic, for spreading rumors.. Gonna sic Mern on you. LOL LOL |

Well about time! Good to hear from you September. Did not know about your knee surgeries, but glad to now know that you are doing good. A golf cart! That sounds like fun. How far do you go in it? Congratulations on becoming great grandparents. Those old car salesmen, have always heard they were no good. lol Hope you had a good ride though. Later, Nan |

Hubby tells me we have an 8 hr charge on the batteries. It's electric, and we go down by the lake and all over our little village on it. Even tho. it isn't really necessary we registered it. It gives us a chance to enjoy the fresh air, and the scenery. Now all we need is a thing to hold fishing poles. LOL Byee |

Welcome back, September!!!! It sure was great to see you posting again. Everyone was asking about you, so I had to make up something. Goodness, I hope you don't go back and read what Nan said....LOL We missed you. Now if we could just get Mooch to come waddeling in the door, we'd have some fun. I guess you read where I got me a pacemaker installed. It has three settings on it ---(1) normal, (2) Just a little above normal, and (3) You'd better not go there old man. Anyway....Welcome Back!!!!! TictocJim |

Gee, nice to know I was missed. Better watch that #3 Tic. Has anyone at all heard from Mooch? I gave up trying to email her, as it kept coming back as undeliverable. I sure miss the fun we used to have in chat. Every time I download microsoft chat my computer acts like I gave it a dose of salts. I have talked to syko a few times over tha past months, but that's about it. I never seemed able to get to satrday evening chats, for one reason or the other. Oh well, glad to see your back to normal Tic??? Should I rephrase that? I do manage to nab cajungrandy now and then, and I see Jeri tx online nearly every day. Mernie and I keep in touch by email. She said she's not online that much anymore. Tic, send her an email, she looks for you now and then. Be good now. |

Wow , what a surprize to see some of my special frinends in here this morning. Tic I have really missed you. Hope everything is going great now. By the way I have had one of my knees for 20 years and they said they would only last 15. lol Both are doing great. I do anything I want to and without pain. What a great thing to happen after years of hurting when I was young. Tic, my old clock is still ticking. Frank oils it once in a blue moon and we really enjoy the thing. lol Anyway, just wanted you all to know I am still kicking and driving Frank crazy. That is what he gets for keeping me 58 years. Love you all. Always, Happyla |

Hi y'all!!!!!! Good to see so many of you still reading the board, and actually putting something on here! I had begun to think everyone was too old to type. I turned 65 last month, started getting Social Security and decided I am now officially OLD. Made me be depressed, Tic! What's even worse, I look in the mirror and see my grandmother! How can that be? Shades of Dorian Gray, I guess. I had a "Moochie moment" this spring when I attended a social event at our local country club. I wrote an email about it, but have no idea how to get it in here. If CW doesn't know how to do it, I'll re-write it to post. As usual, it was pretty awful! Summer has arrived here on the farm, and we're just enjoying the fresh veggies. Nan, every time I have an ear of corn, I think about you. And, we won't even discuss the stars!! We did a lot of fishing this spring, and I thought about PJ every time I caught one. Made me feel sad, but also happy that we were all fortunate enough to know him. We also went to Wisconsin this spring. Graydon has relatives there, so we did some visiting. Hoping to go out west this Fall. To Okla. for some business stuff, then maybe to the Grand Canyon. Tic, I sure hope you're doing better by now. I don't suppose you'd consider using any of that white lightning as a sleep aid????? I had to laugh a few months back when you and CW were discussing sorghum. When we first moved down here, I was SUCH a city chick! I drove past a farm down the road, came home and told hubby he should see the wierd corn they had growing. Like 20 feet tall, with 2 little leaves up at the top. I guess he told the whole neighborhood, because that fall, the neighbor brought me a jar of molasses and said that was from the "corn plant" I had seen. Somehow, I think I've provided hours of laughter for the locals. Sigh. And on that note, I'll close for now. I think of you all so often, and they are just happy thoughts. Love y'all Mooch |

Awwwwwww, Cajun, that was so nice of you! Believe me, I've missed you and all the old gang, too. Actually, the Amish did try to kidnap me, but decided I was too much trouble, and brought me home. It just took a long time in that horse and buggy! We'll keep in touch!!!!!!!! Love you PS - Do you know if Frank still has his purse? |

Mooch, you aren't old untill, surprise, one day you wake up and you are a great grand mother. Waaaaa, I wasn't ready for that. In June we became great grandparents to a baby girl. Didn't even know grandson Michael was married last winter. My ex-dgtr-in-law sprung that on me out of the blue. WOW Unfortuanately I'd like to see my grandma in the mirror, she was nice looking woman. LOL Instead I see me ugh. So good to see everyone posting again. Have missed you all so. A neighbor about 3 miles uproad, has a huge goat farm, Mooch. I think about the goat tales and Mooch when we drive by. lol |

Greetings Everyone!!!! Good to see you posting, Mooch!!! I still have those oversized briefs you sent me years ago.....funny thing is....they almost fit me now!!!! And I still get nervous at Thanksgiving when I reach for the baster to use on the turkey. LOL September, I did e-mail Mern. That ol' windbag is just the same as usual. I told her that I had been sick...and she said she knew that years ago!!! I'm gonna shoot her on sight when I see her. Happyla....good to see you again on here. I check in here every day, and always feel bad when I can't read any posts. I check with cajun occasionally on IM with seagull and others. Happy to hear from all of you, TictocJim |

If a terrorist country were to take Mooch, then our government just might have something to bargaing with. Our gov't could threaten NOT to take Moochie back unless they promised to behave properly, live civilized countries. And if they don't well bye bye Moochie. lol love ya! Mooch, I think of you too when when I see the corn here and recall the deliciouly fresh picked corn I had when visiting you. Nan |
