What can we (I) do to bring on my salvation? Can I forgive all who have done err to me?  Sure I can but that does nothing for my salvation.
Can I give my all to gain salvation? I can give all but it is naught for salvation.
Can I get into the water and have someone speal religeous words over me to gain salvation?  I can but there will be no salvation.

If I may place steps to form a timeline, , ,

I must find myself as lost and without hope. What I have done to offend the worls counts nothing against me. I am lost and sinful. One offence God is all sin. Whether I am a child of five years of if I am 95.

When I recognise myself as sinful I call upon Jesus to make Him Lord of all.

I now may beg forgivness of my sinfulness whereby He (Jesus) forgives my sin and makes me as a child of God.  I am now saved forever.

As a testamony that Christ has redeemed and saved me I will now seek out to be baptised before others. I do not believe that a baptism in private is what should happen. There is no testamony in doing that.

Any works done will be for Christ in thanksgiving for His Lordship over my life.
Salvation cannot be bought because Jesus has already paid all cost for me. Ephesians 2:8-9
